>>22009015 they aren't rib eyes, they are 3.5 oz steaks with 20% salt water solution that they then try to upset you a $500 box of shitty steaks that aren't even worth $100
>>22009015 Nothing but that isn't what they're selling. They're more like those nasty Dollar Tree ribeyes than anything else. There are a bunch of youtube videos exposing the scam. It's absolutely a scam targeting vulnerable people like poors, the elderly, immigrants, and low IQ individuals.
>>22009012 Steve Jobs gave toom temp IQ baboons cameras and now we have conspiracies all over the place. These babbling retards now believe the earth is flat and that 20 dollar steaks are sold for 40 dollars
>>22009012 Hey I remember going to one of these when I was 19, retarded and inexperienced. Didn’t get pulled into any of the actual scam shit but did buy a couple of these, wasn’t 20 for 40 could just do individuals I think but it still wasn’t worth it with how poor quality and minuscule they were. Haven’t seen anything like it since and never thought I’d see it brought up here, was like a little taste of third world delivered to my doorstep in big ass trucks.
>>22009012 Not a scam. They cut out the middle man (stores) and sell directly to the people. I've bought meat off these people and have been very satisfied. Keep giving the big grocery stores all those profits, you fucking sheep.
>>22014661 It sounds like worse due to water injection too increase the weight. This guy >>22015169 is probably just a tastelet, and like, that's fine. I'm not though. I don't even buy steaks very often from the store because they charge too much and don't even look good. I'd rather get good flavor/texture for my dollars and go to a butcher. I'll buy ground beef and cheap cuts from the grocery store though
>>22009039 Insane. Should be illegal. Crazy how people don't notice though because when you try to sear it you get an instant puddle of water so you're not wearing crap. Tastes terrible
A taco truck near me charges more than the sit down mexican restaurant down the block from it and you get 1/10 as much food. Makes no sense why you'd get it and not taco bell
>>22017733 The U.S. doesn't have a mad cow disease epidemic, and never has. The surveillance system is so thorough that other countries refuse to import our beef because we detect basically every case of it, unlike them. It's kind of hilarious actually.
>>22009012 I don't get it. Wouldn't you just look at the steaks before you buy em and see that they are shitty and then decide to not buy them? How does anyone get scammed by this?
i get my beef from mexican butcher shops since they're an abundance here in phoenix used to get it from safeway but ive been burned many times before with grey meat underneath red meat packaged in a way for you to not see the grey meat with the mexican guys they literally pull each piece up and show you the quality often times its cheaper too
>>22019704 They have show steaks. They're not the ones you actually get in the box. If you're really curious about it, you can find a bunch of videos on youtube exposing the scam.
>>22019713 Huh. No need, they aren't a thing in my neck of the woods, I was just curious. Still though, I'd think telling em to open the box and show me would be a simple enough solution. If they refuse... No sale and walk away.
>>22019725 I mean, them trying to upsell isn't a scam. And you can look at the meat, frozen and vacuum sealed, and see what the quality is. This isn't rocket science, and the people buying aren't toddlers. If you get to middle age and still cant identify good quality food, then there's not really any hope for you. At worst this is aggressive salesmanship.
>>22019746 >t. buttblasted after getting sales pressured to overpay for street meat Meanwhile, I don't need anyone to tell me I don't have to buy the shit tier meat. Get it together, you mongoloid.
>>22019779 Did your husband call you a retard for buying the garbage meat from the street brown? Did he take the $40 out of the anal lube fund and now he's riding you dry? You seem really emotional about this whole thing.
>>22019741 The scam is the injected water bumping up the weight, and the frozen vacuum sealed packages can’t be easily quality checked by most people. I don’t know if i could
This >>22019746 is harsh though LOL You’re dumb because you can tell it’s a scam more easily? O.K.
