>>22014706 >I CAN'T HECKIN SPREAD BUTTER FRESH OUT OF THE FRIDGE you fucking grate it or slice it into smaller pieces then. there is literally no reason to ever use that other fake garbage
>>22014713 New Zealand patented a system for removing the hardening enzyme out of butter. It spreads soft straight outta the fridge. The question must be asked why this tech is being suppressed for the greater masses.
>>22014965 kek. i remember seeing a youtube video where some polish guy was showing people how to go about soaking buckwheat in hot water. he deserved >9000 comments just like that.
I much prefer butter, personally. Granted, it is a little more dear, so for any visitors I will usually prepare the "guest butter" which is just margerine disguised as butter.
>>22014706 >both are saturated fats so equally shitty health wise >marg miles better for environment and animals >but butter tastes good so Also there's nothing "natural" in the commercial butter in your fridge
>>22015092 You are simply ignorant. Destroying an ecosystem, covering it with a monocrop and spraying it with artificial fertiliser is awful for the environment.
So many times we hear about the soil crisis from retarded commie ecoloons but they will NEVER consider cattle-based regenerative farming, the method that ensured fertility and viability of our soil right up until modern intensive farming.
>>22014823 >>22014971 Look fuckfaces, I know they patented the technique and I know it spreads soft out of the fridge and tastes like normal butter so go finger your asshole.
>>22014706 I think it's pretty obvious that butter is objectively a superior choice, flavor-wise, but margarine (and seed oils in general) aren't as bad as some retards make it out to be. Margarine isn't going to kill you. At least, it isn't significantly unhealthier than butter or lard or beef tallow or whatever just because it's "processed".
>>22016114 Seed oils make me feel like absolute shit and even western medicine (with big pharma's hand up their asshole) agree mental health is imperative to physical health. So you are wrong and should make sweeping claims regarding other people. Focus on your own well being.
>>22016114 >Margarine isn't going to kill you well of course, (((they))) don't want you dead, they want you ill so you (((buy))) (((their))) """""""medicine"""""""
>>22014750 Margarine does have a certain taste to it that I enjoy, but it is a wholly inferior product and I'd never use it unless its the only option.
>>22016119 it's called the placebo effect, nigger. if some retard proclaims that beans are unhealthy because it makes their tummy hurt, does that mean that beans are unhealthy? go back to twitter, faggot
>>22016153 what "medicine"? a triple bypass? mobility scooters? amputation and insulin? eating a fuckton of butter and lard will have the exact same effect
>>22014706 Can anyone explain why anyone would use margarine over butter? Neither are healthy, so when somebody wants to use them, one should only use it in moderation, like mashed potatoes, baked goods, or for finishing sauces - none of which are healthy nor meant to be. So why would you use margarine when butter tastes better? It's like if you used sugar all the time and suddenly switched to honey and now you think it's all healthy - well it isn't!
>>22018322 Price. Margarine is much cheaper than budder. Convenience and laziness is the secondary factor. Many people find it easier to use a margarine spread than to fuss with budder sticks.
hello, I came to this board just to say I baked an oatmeal casserole for the first time and when I started eating it I thought it was really fucking disappointing and then I saw the bowl of melted butter I was supposed to add on the kitchen counter still thank you for your attention to this matter
>>22018322 It's a tech tree, when you unlock the higher tier food techs, you leave obsolete stuff in the past.
Margarine is healthier, most cost effective, has all kinds of advantages with spreadability, and you can't even taste a difference. There's zero reason to go back to butter, unless you're doing some historical reenactment larp.
