All it takes is seeing the right fat distribution for you to understand it.
Most architects like fat faces, but to me it's a turn off. I like slim faces, and I love the contrast between a slim-ish face and an arse that can swallow a bus seat. Some like cellulite, I think it's gross.
It's what makes it really hard to get people to understand architecture because it's got so much variety, but when it clicks it clicks.

I'm an architect and I find there's a lot of overlap in the appeal, though of course I try to keep it to a minimum here to respect our non-architect ass appreciators.
For me, I especially love weight gain as the cause for someone getting a fat butt, especially if they're petite without curves at a low weight and all the fat goes right to their butt, making them bottom-heavy.
Bonus if they were slightly top-heavy with maybe medium sized boobs before, only for the lower half to take over their figure when they get chubby.

Sometimes all it takes is the right outfit. In Pokemon Black and White, Bianca canonically has a much bigger butt than Hilda, but because she's stuck in that pencil skirt while Hilda was given shortshorts, it's Hilda's ass everyone remembers (and exaggerates).
