The site's been fucked since the end of October, so six months at the absolute least. And the fact that people are like 'oh, it'll be fine, the owners vanish inexplicably for long periods of time pretty regularly', like, isn't that a massive red flag and a sign that we need a better site asap?

I wonder why you're obsessed with spewing retarded lies and ruining it for everyone else, Redditor.
Also, I don't need to click that to see it's LLM slop as there isn't a free LLM that spergs out about paragraphs like you do. I bet you think Kemono overwrites updated posts over new posts.
Kemono's owner lurks 4cuck and when he sees your shitpost he's going to turn off the API because he forgot as his email address is still on it and he disabled Nekohouse's API.

>502 - Bad Gateway
WebServer is dead too now it seems. Has died before and come back recently, but not for this long.
>>8871073
Fuck off political schizo, the owner isn't dead.
Just the other week he came back to remove the partychan link on the bottom of the page.
My dumb theory is that the owner just gave up on the site, not having a dev, sites consantly changing stuff, sites now actively trying to break and ban crawlers, and the insane costs of hosting going up thanks to HDD/Ram costs. Just let it expire that he already paid for.
Even the old domain was not renewed recently too.
Will we see another site like kemono pop-up?
Maybe, who knows, probably not to the same scale with supporting so many sites.
Then there's also the issue of content that has been deleted from paywall sites since the start of kemono, to when the next site will come around.
>>
>>8871216
>I usually just buy a month of a creator I want and then stop until they have new content that interests me.
Some artists have started to pick up on this, and either delete their old posts or update it to point towards a paid link

Kemono had four servers called n<number>.

Wrong. The admin's last post on Partychan was between last year's Autumn and Winter.

How do you know it's the owner and not his friend or acquintance? Kemono never supported a lot of sites at once, did Kemono's Gumroad, Fantia, Patreon and Fanbox importers ever work simultaneously?
>>
>>8871707
>Wrong. The admin's last post on Partychan was between last year's Autumn and Winter.
Very well then I stand corrected. Partychan seems to be down though now as well which doesn't bode well. My hopes are that maybe there's some major maintenance or issues going on in the background that the admin will resolve sooner or later but it's best to prepare for the worst.

What I find baffling is how they decided to advertise themselves on Twitter, and even directly taunt the Patreon support account, telling them they were outright scraping their stuff.
This is what most likely got them on Patreon/Fanbox/artists' radars and prompted them to come up with countermeasures against the scrapers.

>you didn't say this at all

>>8873588
>If nobody paid there'd be nothing to rip.
This is what I said. It was your assumption that I meant "someone has to give money to use the importer" when I just meant artists have to make a profit or they wouldn't market their stuff and sell it to begin with. Both are valid points though, but mine was aiming a little higher conceptually.
Probably would spend less time drawing, too, which means less content all around.
>and sites like kemono or yiff.party doesn't make artists lose more money.
It's common sense that if you can visit a rip site for free, OR be forced to pay to get through a gate, many people who WOULD have paid would just go to the rip site and not spend money. Of course it loses them money. What a ridiculous assertion made to just spare your conscience.
I don't care if you sneak in through the busted gate, but be intellectually honest.
>>
>>
>>
>>8873595
>sell it to begin with
how generous of subscription sites to sell temporary access to content.
shitty subscription sites that timegate content, allow artists to remove content, dictate what an artist can upload, ban you for saving the content, and force subscribers to save the same posts periodically to look for updates must be boycotted at all costs.
likewise, artists who share files in humiliating ways must be boycotted at all costs.
don't want to be boycotted? don't be a piece of shit. it's really simple. you should give it a try instead of screeching that we're not your cattle.
>many people who WOULD have paid would just go to the rip site and not spend money
you've been saying this for decades and never shown proof.
it's almost like your name is schlomo because all you do is steal, rape, murder and lie.
>>

If there was a bet 15 years ago whether 4chan would devolve into 4cuck where subhumans from Reddit called you a "retarded tourist redditor" for not being a corporate bootlicker and not liking the Jew and its tranny cattle, would've anyone won that bet?
>>
>>
>>
>>8873607
>how generous of subscription sites to sell temporary access to content.
I mean, I'd save the art locally if I bought access to it. Who cares how long the window is open if you can reach through it? Tons of these artists even zip up their work so you can grab it easily.
>shitty subscription sites that timegate content, allow artists to remove content,
That's just letting the artist run their content as they please. And it's reasonable to do. The artist is the first order customer of the service. Are you saying they shouldn't be able to take down a picture they aren't proud of anymore?
>dictate what an artist can upload
This is shitty. I hate prude sites, but what can you do about payment processors having a chokehold? Not really a "steal it instead" situation because that just hurts the artist more than the payment processor.
>likewise, artists who share files in humiliating ways must be boycotted at all costs.
Humiliating? Like just hosting a mega? Doesn't seem too demeaning.
>you should give it a try instead of screeching that we're not your cattle.
Who do you think I am exactly?
>you've been saying this for decades
I have?
>and never shown proof.
Common sense shouldn't require proof. You're just getting pedantic now because you don't want to admit it's obvious.
For the record I'm not jewish. But it is pretty funny you call them notorious thieves while thieving.
>>
>>
>>8873619
>I'd save the art locally if I bought access to it
that makes you a thief/pirate/crawler per the definition of the corporation that you're defending.
>Who cares how long the window is open if you can reach through it?
why would you? you're a redditor as you only know how to be retarded and leech.
>That's just letting the artist run their content as they please. And it's reasonable to do. The artist is the first order customer of the service. Are you saying they shouldn't be able to take down a picture they aren't proud of anymore?
that's just letting people boycott them as they please. and it's reasonable to do. the subscriber is the first order customer of the service. are you aware you're admitting subscribers don't own anything?
>steal it instead
what was stolen?
>Who do you think I am exactly?
i think you are an organic person who has been on 4cuck for 6 billion years as we can open up archived threads from 6 billion years ago and see things haven't changed much.
>I have?
you have.
>Common sense shouldn't require proof
but where's the proof that shows every single person visiting kemono would've been a paid subscriber to every creator if kemono didn't exist?
>>
>>
>>8873630
>where's the proof that shows every single person visiting kemono would've been a paid subscriber to every creator if kemono didn't exist?
That wasn't the argument. I even phrased it clearly for you up here:
>>8873595
>many people who WOULD have paid would just go to the rip site and not spend money.
This is what you argued with. I didn't say "ALL"... I didn't say "EVERY SINGLE"... I said MANY. And you couldn't even concede that much. So you shifting the goal post like I need to prove EVERY person would have paid is very telling. Smells like a guilty conscience who is afraid to confront the truth that piracy does, in fact, have victims.
Hell, I'm not even telling you not to do it. I just think it's shitty when you choose not to confront reality so you can think you're a good person who is fully justified in everything you do.
>>
May not be a surprise to anyone, but the 3dpd sister version of kemono is also dead and has been since October and import has been broken since then as well. These sites probably wont be around much longer.
Fuck videos don't even work anymore on coomer.
>>
>>
>>8873653
Where did I deflect again?
What kinds of proof would you even accept? An unassailable chain of logic clearly isn't one of them.
Who did I call delusional? I just called you dishonest... even to yourself so you don't have to confront what you've done.
The funny thing is you know I'm right. But all you have is doubling down now. Pretend to not understand so dialog is impossible. How very "leftist" of you.

Sadpanda yes. There are actually several torrents that has all the ENG & JAP every categories backed up to a point except for Misc... Which mysteriously got erased on Sukebei late 2025. For any aspiring hoarders, don't worry it's easy to find (if you have 3 digit IQ) due to the file size .
Kemono probably not, or at least not by a third-party. 1) Because the upload themselves had shit quality control (i.e. the attached is a link to an expired megaupload/google), and 2) the site has shit connectivity making batch downloads hard. If the project does go kaput, my only hope is that devs post like a 60TB+ torrent as a goodbye gift. Hopefully this is just the annual retard-server moment that they usually have though.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>8873717
>it didn't have everything. not even close to half.
Do you mean that in 1) with other languages and including Misc? Or 2) do you actually mean that there was less than half of ENG & JAP presented?
1) I understand, because Misc alone is like a fucking exponential cancerous growth that'll probably kill the site in the future; Especially with AI.
2) I call BS because I really fucking doubt there is double of what's already presented. If it's like 20% missing from image sets yeah I could believe that, but more than double of everything No.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>8873723
Partially because the main panda is semi-decentralized (via Hentai@Home) and clients can copy the data off to other sites to clone it.
Kemono on the other hand is very centralized on a shitty server, with the devs eating more than they can chew 24/7.
>>
>>8873723
exhentai doesn't have a real mirror. hdoujin doesn't count because schalenetwork is only copying recently uploaded galleries and some galleries on panda chaika. hitomi, nhentai and all the other shitty sites you're thinking of serve only re-encoded resampled pictures or re-encoded original files.

Kemono does lose us artists "potential" money, whenever the importers are dead I get a substantial number of new subs.
On the other hand, as much as I like more money, I don't blame people since I too use kemono regularly. I try to support a big number of artist I enjoy, but there are just way too many, and it adds up before you know it . Whenever I find a new guy I skim over kemono to see what he offers, and if I enjoyed it or pretend to come back, I drop him a sub.
It's good manners to drop your artist a sub if they made you come or you keep going back to their stuff. Doesn't have to be every month, a "tip" from time to time keeps the money rolling and the artist happy.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>8873734
>whenever the importers are dead I get a substantial number of new subs
how many of those people knew about you before kemono, though? I know for sure I've been introduced to artists that I've ended up supporting for a few months through kemono
>>
>>
>>8873763
Hey, I never said it's a bad thing. It does provide free publicity and gets people hooked, so whenever the importer goes down there's chance they decide to become subs; which in turn might help convincing them to stay subbed for convinience or having my pages present in their mind for the next kemono blackout.
One of my guilty pleasures is to ego surf kemono and see if my faves number has grown, just another metric to look forward to.
Piracy won't ever be eradicated, people/companies who whine and despair when their shit gets pirated are fighting a never ending losing battle.
I pirated so much shit as a kid, so now it's time to pay my dues with my own content and I'm okay with it.

Archival sites are a dying breed. Spiraling complexity of websites, lack of competent devs to match that, enormous commitment and time consumption for upkeep no one has anymore, squeezes from big tech and financial institutions snuffing out competition and censorship to spur their own investors shrinking the available hosts and hosting options. Booru.org died well over a decade ago and every attempt to make an open source alternative has failed and only lasted a few months before one of the aforementioned maladies crept in and killed them. AI spam slowly killing and crushing sites like sadpanda..... goodbye pagification.... it's a miracle kemono lasted this long but the writing is on the walls. Despite technology massively improving and what should have produced a golden age of archiving, just the opposite has happened as the environment has become prohibitively unattainable for entry of new users and hosts. Enter a world of never ending, exhausting upkeep, whack-a-mole and an uphill struggle to keep any of these sites alive. It's a shame really, but nobody should be surprised the kemono devs have most likely already scooped and left the project.
>>
>>8874828
>Booru.org died well over a decade ago

In the wake of this extended outage I had a look at the patreon of a girl whose erotic audios I like but the stuff I want is in a tier that is priced at £18/month. It's insane.
I feel like they'd get more subs if they priced it at like £5/month. I'd be willing to pay that. But £18/month is crazy. Makes me wonder if they deliberately want to farm paypig whales and aren't interested in those who can't afford that. But it's not even findom content she's producing. I truly believe if they priced it at like £3-£5/month they'd end up with 10x the number of subscribers.

Is the same with H69verse.
The guy makes incredible 3D videos (Mitsuri, Shinobu, Power, Rangiku) and now Daki, but his tiers are pricey as fuck.
I understand that his videos are extremely high quality and time consuming, but his tiers of 10-25-45 are a little excessive, considering the $45 is the one that gets you the 4k versions.

Only pre feb 2026 text uploads work, any fic uploads after then that were just plain text show as blank empty entries because patreon changed their text display code, requires literally 2 line change to fix but the kemono admin is retarded so it broke.
>>
Still wondering what the hell happened for the dev or admins of the site to not just, y'know, say anything. No signs of life besides things getting removed such as the partychan. Hell, I'll take a "yeah we're giving up the site" at this point. At least we'd know something besides countless schizopostings.
>>
>>8877397
They knew they fucked up when they dunked on everyone online, which lead to them constantly rewriting the scraper and relying on people getting banned and resubbing to fix it.
Now they are burned out and have surrendered, they should have just let people submit files and created a trusted uploader system
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
kemono isn't dying. the issue is the admin can't fix or create an importer and he is afraid of accepting help because he thinks they could be a spy from the subscription site.
kemono, nekohouse and coomer are registered under the same company, which has its own autonomous system number.

Gelbooru keeps being mass reported to Cloudflare and other infrastructure companies for violating German laws. And no matter how many times the owner pushes back, the sheer volume of mass reports means they get auto-accepted.
Gelbooru is more or less on borrowed time unless it blocks Germany or the whole EU. I'm not joking. Eventually the mass report campaign will hit something critical, and it'll go down for good.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>8876785
Probably the craziest pricing I've seen for patreon shit is Slugbox. He has a tier for art that costs $70 per month. Like wtf? I usually cap myself at $10 per month, max, and that's only if I really like the artists.
>>
>>8878751
How can a German law apply to a site from different country? German law should affect Germany only. If they do not want this type of content then block the site in Germany and leave the rest of the world alone.
>>
>>8879131
That's the argument that Gelbooru's dev makes repeatedly, and his argument is accepted and the site goes back up.
Then another wave of mass reports hits, and they get auto-accepted. It doesn't really matter what Gelbooru's dev says or if he is in the right, if you report a site enough then it goes down.

I'd rather a private communal sharing site (users required to have at least 1 active subs every 3 months or something) so that you can avoid takedowns and what not much better. Public sites just always get fucked and prioritized by the content sites to block. Plus way less entitled leeches who eat all your bandwidth costs and complain about people not uploading.

Thank god, based bunkr coming to the rescue.
What are the maniacs selecting "Not Really" thinking? There clearly is a demand for this service and we're currently bogged down in the mire waiting to see if kemono/coomer return rather than ripping off the bandaid and filling the vacuum.
I've been trying to put into words why a service like kemono still needs to exist when simpcity/bunkr already exists and I think the clearest reason is organisation. I maintain a bunkr archive for a content creator alongside the simpcity thread created for her and it's a fucking mess.
When I started archiving her stuff it was all spread across multiple different file hosting sites, multiple different posters, multiple different folders. Due to my own autism I have condensed every unique video into a single bunkr album which runs ~70GB in size but it's still a jumbled mess, consisting of what videos others have randomly leaked. And the moment I stop manually adding new leaks into it, it becomes just another abandoned directory among the other 5 or 6 for this creator that already exist.
The big upside of kemono is that the files are self organised by Patreon and the creators. It's all there, in order, and when new files appear on Patreon they appear on kemono. It doesn't rely on the goodwill of people to individually leak files. You need that background automation to avoid a tangled mess of incomplete directories with files all out of order, spread across 100 different folders and posters. If it's more complicated than pressing an update button people won't do it.
>>
>>8879511
bunkr has the problem of constantly being slow, often being offline, and getting a new domain name.
feels like they're doing corporate speech with the poll. they're getting asked if they wanna make a similar site to kemono, and they don't wanna say no in plaintext, so they're doing a poll, knowing very well there aren't many buyfags sharing stuff, as an excuse to tell them no.
>>8879507
then go and make your private community. why are you here? are you sure you're not a jew? importers on kemono are anonymous, which makes it impossible for people to contact importers. you're also lying about kemono complying with copyright takedown requests and subscription sites only taking action because of public sites.

>bunkr has the problem of constantly being slow, often being offline
True it is often slow and offline but overall it has remained very resilient. Been going strong for years now, albeit with the usual domain hopping. A bunkr album / file which is offline right now but which one can assume will be online later is better than this current kemono limbo.
> knowing very well there aren't many buyfags sharing stuff, as an excuse to tell them no
But that's already the whole model for bunkr, it subsists off of the generosity of people putting their leaked, paid content on there. A kemono mirror is very much in their ballpark.
(he said hoping they read this and make one)

>if you report a site enough then it goes down
Autoban should be revoked. Make lawyers work for their money. Reports should be accepted by human only, not automated bullshit.
Only one thing should be automated, if they report a site it shoud give an auto message, that "this site was already reported, please wait for the response".
