Do you have a mind's eye? Can you rotate an apple in your head?
Great, then you possess the mental faculty required to create a tulpa.
Seriously, guys.
I have a pet theory that the real reason people are unable to create tulpas is because guides (especially early ones) conflated 'imposition' with 'hallucination'.
To be clear, I've had my first tulpa for over a decade now and I don't remember visually hallucinating her ever once in my life.
This expectation sets up an impossible goal that people will grow frustrated with and use as an incentive to quit.

I literally have an ADHD diagnosis and am unmedicated. Having a tulpa is about imagining her in flesh space and interacting with her in day-to-day life. That's it. Treat them like imaginary friends that you feed into.
Meditation/ focusing intensely has always been delegated to an irregular activity we use to increase the intensity of vivid perception.

I don't get the obsession about tulpas, it's far more comfy keeping those thoughts inside your head and losing hours a day where you just imagine your perfect life while laying on your unwashed bedsheets.

Oh yeah I used to do that with my old baby pillow. Would talk to it like an imaginary friend though difference is I wouldn't imagine it moving or even talking, whenever I talked to it I just "felt" the answer, nothing audible yet it felt real.
Oh god that must be exactly what being Alice is like

I do this with my fumos. Do...do I have 5 tulpas already? I mean we can have a full discussion and they have voices. Like I'm dubbing them in my head I guess. I can turn it off though, the idea of not being able to turn a tulpa off sounds scary...
