Not using anywhere but here I do not know anything about it other than it happened out of nowhere the last time I had a job which was otherwise the highlight of my life so it at least makes me happy on some level.

Again have had no interaction with them but considering myself one of them (potentially a teto oldfag to dilleniate), I am very happy that I am not even remotely limited to stroking it to picrel anymore and that that flood of art is still coming.

Someone should force all these alphatards to watch Kurumi*Ponchio on repeat at gunpoint until they properly adapt to old vocaloid culture, because I'm already sick of these "people" proseka dragged in.

Fuck no, the Vocaloid scene was growing strong ever since 2021. All Teto did was bring in obnoxious zoomers. I bet they don't even care about the scene itself, just their stupid twindrilled not-even-a-real-vocaloid hag.
I also hate that SynthV Teto sounds the same regardless of the producer. All of the tuning sounds the damn same.

Seriously. I wouldn't call myself a Tetofag by any means, but I always sorta liked Teto before the new voicebank shit or whatever they want to call it got released, pulled in a ton of undesirables, and people just started doing the laziest fucking mixing and turning for her voice. No line nuance, no discovering personal styles, nuTeto sucks. You can hear a Miku song you've never heard before, and easily make a guess as to who made it based just by how Miku sounds and sings. It's ironic that somehow the thing that made her voice less robotic has invited more robotic and stale musical practices.

i think these are the same fags that comment about teto being a "31 year old minor" in some teto songs in youtube
idk if they're being sarcastic or if their brain is really that brainrotted to see children in everything

Some of them yes, don't care about her music or vsynths in general, but that's not exclusive to Teto. I have seen tons of people who buy Miku merch who don't even know what Miku is (I'm not kidding), I have met Rin and Len cosplayers who don't care about Vocaloid at all but wanted to come together in a matching cosplay to a con. That's unavoidable when a character becomes a pop culture icon, the character itself trascends beyond its origins
>I also hate that SynthV Teto sounds the same regardless of the producer. All of the tuning sounds the damn same
You haven't heard enough songs. Listen to different covers of the same song who uses SV Teto to spot the difference, like yasai31's Ochame Kinou to every other SV Teto cover of the song, Teto Kasane-Chan's cover of Zako or renaseri's cover of Looping the Rooms. She can sound differently, people are still learning how to use her and experimenting with her different modes.

Yeah, like Deco and Pinocchio, who have a hundred songs that defined their tuning style compared to a rookie producer who started 3 years at max. V4X Miku have been the standard for 10 years, and judging by how V6 Miku is being received it can still be the default voicebank for a couple years more, of course the usage of the voicebank have matured by now.

As an early 00s zoomoid who's been listening since 2013 and engaging in the community since 2016 I fucking hate it. The Western community was already horrible with almost every producer and cover artist either being petty, malicious, in a clique, or most commonly both with (oftentimes diehard) fans melting down at the slightest criticism, and now instead of making snarky jokes you get 5k comments either saying 'kill yourself' or some incomprehensible brainrot shit that makes it feel like you're about to summon a demon if you'd attempt to say it aloud when they're mad about something. There's some good people who are producers, artists, cover artists, etc still but they're mostly unpopular. Not all hope is lost, but it makes me hesitant to branch out unless I already know someone.
Not to mention the fact that Teto, Miku, Adachi Rei, and Yi Xi are the only way to get views because of kids from Tiktok. I have Teto but because I'm so burnt out on her voice I don't want to touch her, SynthV or Utau. Everything else I have ranges from 'used to be popular' to 'complete wholoid' but I like it that way.

Gen Alpha kids are unironically incorporating Kasane Teto into their songs now. It’s over for oldfags.

I've seen very few blacks at events in the states. Digital Stars in fucking New York City had like one or two black dudes, total, but I wouldn't present that as a representative sample either. Events can depend a lot on the makeup of the host cities and all I've really noticed since Mikunopolis in 2011 is the age is still trending lower.
t. Been to a lot of Miku Expos and other cons

I'm a white American, I just don't post about it because that's fucking stupid. I also don't enjoy engaging with the Vocaloid fandom in a public facing manner, do not have a Twitter, have not had a Twitter for years, and actively avoid ever using Bluesky.
>>
>>50929558
Meh, I like that there is a new surge in Vocaloid content and even back in the day I never really engaged with most of the fandom, because they always had a high percentage of autistic dipshits, posers and morons.

At least Japanese fans are laughing at and mocking the self righteous casual Western troons

I liked Jam2go's album with Teto in it because it didn't sound like the "regular" Teto voice everyone else uses, I don't got a good ear for this kind of thing though so second opinion?
