There's something that compels people to project innocent whimsy onto Fumos. Like a pure and childlike naivete for the world that I'm sure most of us have long lost. I love it.

Been having a real rough time lately, but I come back to pet my fumos and enjoy some fumo pics and videos, and I feel better about my day. They're like the doll equivalent of having a warm blanket and mug of hot chocolate on a cold and wet winter day.

That's the bulk of it, but they're almost overengineered for being photogenic. The videos people upload portraying them as their own independent characters with their own cute adventures is just something you see nowhere else. The PC98 girls went to see the cherry blossoms with me, since it was already late into their bloom. Forgot my tripod so getting stable photos was a little awkward.

Same trip, different lens from the other cherry photo but the same lens as the Tenshi. This one came out way prettier thanks to the bokeh and whatever caused that white tinge in the bottom right. Gives it an airy sorta feel, no idea what was going on with the manual lens or shot composition to cause it; white balance being off maybe?

I really should break out my DSLR more often in general. Lost a lot of know-how thanks to leaving it at home for a long time.
