Given how he's done fucking NOTHING since I'm starting to get the feeling Maclin was actually supposed to win that one or they were going to have another match after or something. Dude wrestled Rich Swann and cut two promos after the Eddie match and that is it.

Sadly he's going to be around until at least lockdown I think. WWE is 100% getting leon and santana this year though they've made that shit clear. No idea what they see in santana but he has a daughter a dead dad is la raza puerto rico eddie guerrrrrrerrrrro and an addict so...

delirious and dreamer have been booking some of the dumbest shit since before the nxt "deal" started even.
>>20450199
Maybe temporarily but Santana and Leon Slater are gone before or just after BFG. WWE wants both.
>>20450207
I joke around as one of the only Maclin fans on /pw/ but I really do think him being off TV hurt them massively in addition to them fighting the nfl draft and whatnot for attention.
they clearly have NOTHING for Santana right now and were planning on either Maclin winning or Santana and him going back and forth for a couple matches.

They changed their methodologies like 3 times since TNA has started on AMC kek
For comparison the movie before this impact ep was like 149k
TNA has still been outdoing the average stuff but it does seem like they did take a legit hit post the show where Maclin got hurt in the match with Santana.
NFL Draft, niggerball, etc. can account for some but even people who were telling me I was being a bit extreme about dreamer and delirious are agreeing that they both have to go at this point.

uh what exactly is the problem with this thread anon?
I'm one of the like 3-4 TNA fans on here and have no issue with it despite it openly mocking the company. What is your issue with it?
I notice you're crying about ratings threads but not the 2000 generic threads about retarded cunts who can't work a match or cut a promo to save their lives. Weird.

kek
I've said for years I think ALL wrestling ratings are lower than actual, not by some massive degree, but across the board and always have been. That said, not exactly the most advertiser friendly genre.
TNA does a pretty good job getting b horror movies and stuff as sponsors, that kinda works.
>>

It's funny because all the people saying TNA could become #2 never watched a minute of it before pushing that shit and when they did they saw the rinky dink ring and dimeless roster and gave up real quick pretending to give a shit about that garbage
>>
>>20451657
The industry is in such a dire state that even with delirious and dreamer's booking it is still the only weekly wrestling I'll bother watching at this point.
Nowhere close to their peak obviously but still lightyears beyond wwe and aew even in their crippled state. Dreamer and Delirious have to go though.
>>
>>20451657
This. It looks cheap. The roster all look like biker rejects, aging fitness bros from the 2000s, failed rappers. And the women look like bogged midgets or low-subscriber OF hookers. Nobody has a clean cut gimmick to balance it. It all feels knock off.
>>
>>20451661
Why though? There's nothing worth watching unless you like 205 Live guys and washed TNA oldies. TNA used to be based, but I dunno how anyone can watch it now. WWE are 99% buying them in the next year and a half too so I don't get why anyone would stay invested unless they're a WWE fan too. TNA's future is guys from WWE development brands. Sad.
>>
>>20451672
>WWE are 99% buying them
this is the stupidest shit that keeps getting repeated by people who can't think beyond their keyboard.
WWE inflated the value of a company massively, picked their roster apart, got them a TV deal that increased their value even more, to then... buy them, despite having the people they want from them.
Yeah that doesn't really compute anon. Why wouldn't they have just bought them years back?
>>
>>20451680
It was confirmed WWE has an option to buy them as part of their relationship. Why wouldn't they buy them? They have another promotion with name value to send guys, tape library.. it's not like they would cost a crazy amount of money either. The agreement wouldn't be in place if WWE didn't want to do it eventually. They're just trying to appear cool after MLW took them to court and won.
>>
>>20451693
>It was confirmed
by who where?
Legit first time I'm hearing that and any business worth a fuck would be stupid to overpay for something like that. They have bloated the value of TNA on the market despite the actual quality of the product falling massively.
>>
>>
>>20451716
I'm not seeing a reality in which kiked out tko is going to overpay on something they don't need when they are already getting what they want from them. Leon Slater and Santana are going to WWE this year, they don't need to buy TNA. They get to "look like the good guy."
There hasn't been anything NXT related on TNA since the start of the AMC deal beyond Arianna and she's basically been a TNA talent at this point kek
>>
>>
>>20451726
Yeah well you're just going to have to be wrong on this one.
TNA will be the only remaining entertainment in the post apocalyptic wasteland of the future and you will beg to wrestle for scraps in the terrordome.

Delirious has been booking buttgarbage since he took ROH from selling out the Garden to out of business
>>
>>20451755
Whatever they would've payed has now been bloated massively since the start of this deal. Their owners anthem are in a way better position than they were before this whole thing started despite the situation with the on tv product. The AMC deal alone increases their market value quite a bit. I doubt Anthem would have any interest in selling a stake a this point either.
People keep pushing this narrative but it just isn't going to happen guys. If it was going to it would've already. Now if TNA were suddenly failing massively financially or something I could see WWE picking it up on the cheap because why not. But that isn't remotely the situation TNA is in. Unlike AEW they make money and have to actually balance their books. Unlike WWE they have to actually care about what they are doing even though they are fucking up.
>>20451768
Leon is going to WWE. He's not a retard.
He's either sticking with TNA or going to AEW.
>>20451777
Yeah I get having him come in right when D'amore left but come on. You've got Sami Callihan ON PAYROLL, you have connections to smart people in the industry who can do this work. Dreamer and Delirious shouldn't be working in creative. Road agents? sure. fine. Dreamer should never be on TV again unless its a comedy sketch backstage and he damn sure shouldn't be booking matches.
>>
>>
>>20451788
How much do you think TNA is worth? Supposedly the deal agreed was that WWE can buy them during their 3 year partnership and it was agreed before the new TV deal so there's likely a price in place. If TNA are growing then that only increases the likes of WWE wanting them. If TNA was in the place you suggest, they would be locking guys down and trying to grow. Instead they seem to be spending less money and drawing less fans.

>Supposedly the deal agreed was that WWE can buy them during their 3 year partnership and it was agreed before the new TV deal so there's likely a price in place.
According to who where?
>spending less money
how so? They have been slowly hiring people nonstop since they changeover. If anything they have increased spending the last half a year trying to improve their production (with little success). Their decrease in spending has only been from talent bleed which wasn't something they did willingly.
>>20451827
kek you just got banned from the terrordome
>>
>>
>>20451844
...you know what fair enough anon you got me there. Just saying it is clear WWE wants him they have already put their stink on him while he's still in TNA. I doubt he makes it to BFG. Santana probably goes before or right after BFG.
TNA probably had to beg WWE to let them have leon break aries' streak with the x division title before leaving. They have stressed it weekly that Leon is breaking that streak the 15th many many times now kek
>>
>>
>>20451938
You forgot the weird jamaican accent thing he puts on. Cracks me up every time he "promos"
WWE really wants him for some reason though.
Really his best bet is to just stay with TNA all things considered but I get it regardless of what he does.

The show is shoot bad
>Random hardcore match without a story every week
>Basically no main event scene
>Recycling old gimmicks
>Eddie Edwards and Eric Young matches every week
>They're doing nothing with Mustafa Ali
>Knockouts division hasn't been this bad in 20 years

>>Eddie Edwards and Eric Young matches every week
hey now this is one of the only good parts of the show but the nuSystem suck ass. Lisha and Eddie are dimes fuck you EY is based.
Dreamer and Delirious need to be fired from creative immediately though.
