Tony definitely could have done better with both. Ricky definitely had his moments in AEW and was pretty over. AEW actually did pretty well by him. Team Taz was pretty good, won the Owen, tag titles with Big Bill and he probably would have had a title run by now if Punk was still around and influencing Tony. He has the right people behind him in WWE, but he looks like someone Vince would have booked as a hairdresser and looks too short and small to be taken seriously in WWE. I had no clue who Eli Drake from TNA was. But after about two or three instances of the guy grabbing the mic on WWE TV and shouting "LEMME TALK TO YA!," I could tell he was one of the best talkers in business.
