>>20452476 He isn't wrong, also knows that he is just as responsible for all the layoffs and paycuts. If Triple Fraud never fucked Steph Vince would have sent him packing back in the midcard where he belonged.
>someone just can't help but spaz out about triple HITLER randomly just another day in the iwc >>20452504 >Mankind >"mmmmmm time for me to make you a star kid" >throws you off of basically a two-story building t-thanks take
>>20452476 HHH ruined Randy and turned him into a boring uninspired shitter. MVP should’ve went scorched earth. It’s not like WWE will ever hire him again.
>>20452476 >once again Really understates it Also Triple H got Rocky, Foley, Jericho, Batista, Orton, Shelton, etc over either just in general or helped give them that last bump they needed to get into the world title scene
>>20452476 "Triple H only got two main event stars ever!" How many has Cena gotten over? How many did Austin get over? It's not an exact science. How many did MVP ever get over in a anyway?
>>20452762 And that's how you stay on top. If you're someone the company can rely on to help make other names then that's exactly what they're going to use you for
>>20452796 The problem with that is you leave the company with nobody to replace you, I guess if you don't care if the company does after you retire then it's all good.
>>20452476 >you can go down the list of talents that taker worked with that he elevated and got them over Not really Kane, that's it Brock's always over as soon as they want him to be because he's one of a kind Mankind was just as much HBK honestly because their feud put him over very hard
>>20452901 Not only that, but that's kind of the point. You don't want to be replaceable. You want them to have to rely on you for as long as you can get them to
>>20452936 Randy was already a world champion by then. Not saying Mick didn't help, but Orton was already made at that point. Mick helped him get over in a different way by showing fans he was actually tough and could get ugly in the ring
>>20452762 Arguably HHH, Rock, Foley, Angle, and Austin all kind of got each other over in one way or another. Austin had an ouroboros of being extremely protective of himself (WCW PTSD is a hell of a drug) and being so over with the crowd no one really wanted him to lose in any significant way.
>>20452955 Austin definitely got Angle over he was insanely hot in late 2001 against heel Austin and you had the zeitgeist of patriotism because of 9/11
>>20452501 Austin put over the Rock in a huge way, put over Triple H when they needed a new top heel. But Austin's rise was meteoric. He went from a midcard guy who goes 50/50 or loses more than he wins to a super protected top top guy who never loses so it's kind of a weird one.
I would say Austin and Cena were both way more willing to put guys over than Hogan though, who barely put anyone over his entire career and would only do so with a caveat (like the Starcade debacle, one of the most obvious times to put someone over ever)
>>20453042 Not more than he's always been. He was pretty much their biggest star during that era and regularly main evented PPVs over the title match because no one wanted to see midget shitters like Bret and Shawn end the show.
>>20453073 >regularly main evented PPVs over the title match because no one wanted to see midget shitters Yeah, no you fucking retard. Taker-Sid went on last over Bret-Austin and it drew lower than Bret-Shawn the prior year. Summerslam 94 bombed. Survivor Series 94 was down 5,000 from the prior year with him and Yoko main-eventing.
>>20452501 >>20453020 THIS. Both Foley and Angle were massively elevated by working with Austin (he was made to look a buffon plenty of times by Angle and also literally tapped out to him).
>>20452476 >Randy Ric and HBK put randy over and punt the kick over Randy got fucking buried by Gaitch (2009 feud) ,Carder (Legend killer gimmick) and to some extent by Hogan (Hulk went over HBK the previous year,Hulk going over Orton was kinda know) Orton recovered from that burial by teaming up with Edge,The Legacy and matches with Cena
>Batista If Batista didn't move to smackdown,he would have been buried by gaytch.
>>20452528 >HHH gets credit for jobbing a few times but he didn't do the heavy lifting this is the main thing, but people seeing jobbing and putting someone over as the same thing. >>20452495 Why yes I remember Shelton becoming a multi time world champion.
>>20452575 >Also Triple H got Rocky, Foley, Jericho, Batista, Orton, Shelton, etc over either just in general The only name that is true with is Batista, everyone else got over throw someone else or their own way.
>>20452476 I shit on Triple H as much as the next hater, but from 1999-2000, he was based as fuck. He had one year when he was dimes, which isn't much, but it did happen, even if he didn't make anyone.
>>20452575 >Rocky Rock was already getting over by himself. Rock got Triple H over as a rival to him, not the other way round, before that he was just HBKs sidekick then the least weird/interesting member of DX. >Foley Foley got HHH over. Foley was already over and the Cactus Jack match and later HIAC sold HHH as rough. >Jericho Jericho was mega over on arrival, and the fuck finish depushed him to midcard, Rock/Austin got him back over then HHH buried him making him play 4th fiddle to a dog during their Mania build, when he got back to the top he never had a main event run on the same show as HHH. >Batista Yes. >Randy Arguable. But the 2004 face feud killed Randy, and their later feuds were dull as fuck with one of the most boring mania matches ever. Orton's biggest main event feuds were with HHH and Cena but it's a squeeze to say he got over from HHH. >Shelton For a couple weeks, but then HHH got his wins back in a hurry and he got dropped back down because Raw at the time stop start booked literally everyone other than Evolution members.
Cornette was way too generous calling him the guy who works with the guy who draws. He's the guy who leeches off the guy who draws. Even if the guy who draws is just the concept of the show.
>>20452476 Who has Taker ever put over lmaoooo Festus? Vladimir Kozlov? Kek. Anytime anyone starts gaining traction they get put in the yearly humiliation ritual Taker match which makes them look like geeks. Nobody has benefited from being in the ring with Taker.
>>20452501 >Who did Cena elevate Countless people? He put more people over than any other top guy ever. >>20452514 HHH does the accounting and finances for WWE and TKO?
>>20452762 Austin made nobody but was a big enough draw that he got away with it especially when you also had Rock there to co headline.
Cena was never my thing but he made Edge, Punk and Bryan as top guys (Taker also helped with Edge), he established Kevin Owens as a threat even if he got his wins back instantly, Rusevs best run other than Rusev Day was against Cena, he made Khali and Umaga look credible for a brief moment, and he re established Brock Lesnar as a top guy alongside Taker. I found Cena hard to watch and he killed a lot of guys as well (Christian/Jericho in 05 and Barrett immediately comes to mind) but he was on top so long he also made some guys or gave them their best work.
Meanwhile HHH insisted on going over Brock and then trying to get the heroic applause in the rematch.
