Except Iruma never wrote about het sex in his yuri novels, much less in "great detail". Hell, not even his het works ever depicted any explicit het sex. He might have some annoying tropes he fixates on but it's always in favor of the yuri couple in the end. I don't even know why you're comparing him to another author's work he has nothing to do with.

My personal take on this is that he truly seems to believe that writing about a woman cheating on her husband with a woman is much more acceptable than a woman cheating on a woman with another woman. I got this feeling ever since he wrote My First Love's Kiss where he clearly chickened out on the possibility that Shiho might have cheated on Umi with Takasora.

All I remember is the part where she says that they tried to have sex once in 4 years(and many years before even meeting Rin) and her husband stopped because she looked bored and after that they even stopped sleeping in the same room. Since she has been married for years and 90% of the novel is smut I guess they couldn't just pretend that marital sex doesn't exist, but I never counted that as explicit depiction of het sex. Literally the only reason why that part exist is to justify why they don't even hold hands, not as a display of alleged ffm fantasies.

And that's why it's shit, because they advertised it as yuri but you end up reading about het sex.
And the point is, despite he had no problem talking about het sex, all the sex scenes between the teacher and the student are licking legs and then fading to black. In Hatsukoi aite there are only aftersex scenes, in AdaShima hasn't been talked at all.
The same thing with Twinstar, that's why I brought it up, because every yuri sex scene was simply "they had sex in the spaceship" "they had sex on every planet they visited" and then the futa sex scene was full of details telling you exactly what they did, what they touched, what they felt. God, I fucking hate that author.
In the end the husband has no reason to exist at all, it could've simply been a forbidden love story between a teacher and her student, but nope, he had to add hetshit, but they had sex only twice so it's ok, it's perfectly normal for married couples, it totally makes sense, And this time it's a 円満家庭 so the husband will be even more present.

The new Iruma kino will be illustrated by Neko Pushio still.

Finished the second volume of Kanojo no kanojo to fujun no hatsukoi 2.
It's been a while since the first volume, I remembered a different MC, a character that simply had things happening to her, but in this volume I was surprised to see her fighting for the girl she likes.
We know more about the relationship of the original couple and we find out it was much more shallow than expected, with them dating basically just by name and their kiss the MC saw in the first volume was actually their first kiss. At first I thought the author did it to make it easier for the betraying girlfriend to end up with the MC leaving her current lover, but the story doesn't go the way I expected and the original couple also grows in this volume, with the betraying girlfriend turning out to be a shitty person, enjoying the situation she is in and openly admitting it so she continues to go from a girl to the other without any guilty. And the other two girls let her do it...
Interesting the ending that leaves no Yaya, I'd say I'm rooting for her, but I don't know if ending up with the MC would be a positive thing...
