>>738684073 >>738684086 I personally don't care about the leaked version, I want to collect shit, play with my frens and enjoy the game with the others, not this meaningless single player ghost town.
I can't wait for all the threads complaining about how it does Japan wrong because there aren't enough anime boobs (plot twist - none of the posters can afford to visit Japan)
>>738684462 Does this really surprise you in a game that gives you objectives such as driving off a cliff as fast as you can and your car isn't reduced to its component atoms upon landing?
>>738684021 I hate the difficulty in these games medium is a snooze fest and on the hardest you have to be in the lead after a few seconds or you'll never catch up and the race is over
I don't know how, but they managed to make Tokyo more lifeless than both Surfers Paradise and Edinburgh There's also something wrong with game's visual clarity, it's just too dull, too underexposed and washed out, a far cry from the vibrance of FH3 and FH4
>>738685098 I love how they're trying to sell all these new monitors and TVs that have trillions of colors, but all forms of media are taking the Christopher Nolan approach and only know shades and tints of grey.
>>738685282 >i want real antifun trees in my FORZA HORIZON videogame curious how you notice the trees but not the absolutely retarded arcade gravity and car handling go play iracing or some other faggot shit simulatortranny
>>738685581 You get consequences for fucking up the instant you miss the corner apex and go off-road. But apparently that’s not humiliating enough; you also want to go Paul Walker mode into a tree and blow up as if you're playing FlatOut 2.
>>738685725 Well, you used to get additional monetary reward for disabling rewinding, giving you a reason to play well, which was removed starting with 5 The game series has constantly been trying to level the playing field down to the shittiest players, dragging everyone down along with them so the shitters can use their crutches without any penalties whatsoever
Look, I've never played Forza but after seeing a few videos I just can't believe how boring the core gameplay seems to be. Entering and existing a curve just looks so dull, I completely don't get the appeal besides the graphics. Additionally, there are some people crossing the road randomly, jets flying out of nowhere as if the devs knew that they need to introduce some random dopamine hit to not make the player fall asleep before their screen. All these new racing games seem to be using the same brick driving model with awful camera work which causes you to perceive the car as if it was stationary and the track was moving instead. We have 2026, sharp as fuck textures and in both forza and assetto corsa rally the trees are completely inanimate, the environment is dead, there is zero fucking wind. How can you make an arcade racing game that looks so soulless.
>>738685638 >any kind of obstacle is so hard for me to deal with that it's comparable to playing a sim Maybe you should stick to kart games buddy >>738685693 If I'm smacking into trees I shouldn't be winning >>738685725 I haven't touched rewind since Forza Motorsport 3
>>738684462 >>738684898 >>738685581 Not that Horizon is that hard of a game but if you're far enough off the road to be hitting trees you're losing regardless of if there are trees there or not.
>>738686060 which "penalties" do you need when a shitter will never, in a trillion years, ever win against a good player no matter how many crutches? do you think now that you cant rewind or that trees arent made out of adamantium shitters are mopping the floor with skilled players? like >>738686262 says, hitting the fucking tree 5kms away from the road is already punishing enough now stop being a literal fucking retard "level the playing field" lmao fucking kill yourself
>>738686614 >>738686715 >why hello fellow players, isn't japan so futuristic and cool and kawaii? Here's a music tracklist of the most normalfag jp artists around! Japans so cool! They should at least try to make it like they care about the country the are setting their next game in.
>>738686865 You aren't going to get real Japanese stuff or actual otaku related content when the horizon team is known to do the most vapid stereotypical caricatures of every country they simulate
>>738686139 >If I'm smacking into trees I shouldn't be winning yes you are not winning. you will lose every single race you do if you smack into trees. unless you play against easy drivatars, which you don't. do you?
how is the progression piratefags how are the physics horizon 4 and 5 kinda sucked, the constant unlimited wheelspins and free hypercars made things sorta boring and the driving physics somehow hit the unsweet spot between sim and arcade
>>738686917 Does that ratface have even a car license some victim for the cause should ask her m what's the difference between a automatic and a manual and check his eyes if he is not trying to divert while checking on his secondary screen or phone
>>738684898 >>738685361 FH 4 and 5 have more of a balance where a lot of objects are destructible, and give you a decent amount of freedom to plow across the countryside if you want to, but not to the point where there are zero obstacles and you almost never have to pay attention and steer around anything
>>738687287 What if the pirate version is the same as the one they gave to content creators a month ago? Half the feedback was about Tokyo being empty, so I doubt they would leave it as is.
>>738687548 I assure you that the leaked build is week old at best, anyone hoping for some sort of magical day 1 patch is running on pure copium this IS the finished game
>>738687418 no one who cares about not "steering around anything" would ram his car into a forest biggest nothingburger of the decade and you faggot niggers keep insisting on being contrarians
>>738687665 >no one who cares The reason you stop caring is that you notice everything is destructible and there is no consequence for hitting stuff. It can take a player who would have enjoyed and engaged with the road layouts and terrain and varied car handling and turn them into I'm just going to plow straight to an objective in a straight line. Is kind of the issue
>>738687665 If I go wide and sideswipe the stone wall next to the road I'd rather not pass through it like I've got noclip on. It makes the world feel fake
>>738684462 Why are people mad about this? You'd think giving the player the ability to drive through forests and shit wouldn't be something to freak out about.
>>738688168 And you can play offline from the start. I only ever used online for vinyls and auction house. You can just ignore it as PvP is just pure cancer.
>>738688054 the what ifs scenarios in your retarded imagination are truly one of a kind but i fail to see any meaningful point in them keep telling me the dreams and made up stories about little johnny the tree rammer and his make belief future where he studies the physics of adamantium trees or whatever retarded shit youre on about now since you cant argue about anything concrete when it comes to gameplay penalties to a faggot going full throttle right into a fucking forest in a racing game >>738688103 thank god thats a tree and not a stone wall, and i dont think even if you actually noclipped one youd feel any less connected to the world have you ever played any horizon game? they all feel fake, yes, even horizon 1 if you take out your nostalgia glasses anyway keep going about how you can jump from 20 story tall hotwheels loops right into concrete and keep running at 200mph but the LUDONARRATIVE DISSONANCE of your car breaking a tree is just too much
>>738688191 Doesn't it bother you that you can plow through a 3 foot thick tree trunk like it's nothing but a wood frame house wall stops you dead in your tracks?
>>738689203 pretty much this desu. this is such a nothing burger obsession by some /pol/tard. he is also ignoring the fact that hitting trees still slows you down like a motherfucker meaning you will lose pretty much any race if you hit trees.
>>738688441 >thank God it's a tree and not a stone wall You're acting like stone walls don't have the same problem. I played the last game, I know how it is
>>738690028 I don't, it literally doesn't matter if they're indestructible or made out of cardboard. I don't understand why this is even a point of contention.
>>738684021 I was about to buy it, then I remembered I cancelled gamepass, which is technically xbox live. I’m not subscribing to play a game I paid $70 for
>>738690581 nta but I've played more racing vidya than 99.9% of tards in this thread. and it doesn't matter. you're still losing speed if you hit trees so all this pointless seething doesn't matter.
>>738690912 Anon, it's called the traction/grip circle. You can't brake AND turn; expecting grip to be sustained perfectly throughout a corner like in previous entries. That's the only physics engine tweak they did (core one at least).
If you want braking performance maximised, you ought brake in a straight line first, then ease of the brakes whilst turning gradually into the corner (bringing in the lateral force). Otherwise, you end just skidding off the apex.
>>738691340 >Yes, ABS works like that irl. And I assume it might work similarly like that in the game (I always have it off) >>738691354 It's true. You will feel the effect from braking and turning at the same time.
>>738691080 Yeah, trees are nothing compared to that >you can't race on realistic roads In other words, you can't pass effortlessly. God forbid you actually have to compete with the other racers
>>738692346 >In other words, you can't pass effortlessly. God forbid you actually have to compete with the other racers wasn't a problem for any racing game in history including gran turismo tokyo courses
>>738692904 It always comes down to the dynamics of tyre modelling. Tryhards tell themselves that the more suffering it induces, the more realistic it is. But the trvke is that AC is (and will always be) king because it is very modular to allow a fairly good recreation of tyre behaviour that a driver has experienced themselves irl to train on.
>11 hours, no ban It's crazy how hard microjeet fear monger squads are pushing this narrative when the only cunt that got banned did so because he posted a full length youtube video and didnt hide the name of his burner account >Just wait 2 more weeks you're HWID is surely coming lol, lmao. Poopjesh you gotta work harder for that rupee
I'll rent the game with one month of pc gamepass, get my fix of driving a Civic Type R and a yellow skyline or some shit until the initial dopamine hit of Forza in Japan wears off, then uninstall. Then buy it for 30 bucks after a year or two
>>738693442 imagine your game being so dogshit you have to compare it to outrun rather than gta, the crew, midnight club, nfs, test drive lol. what's next? mario kart?
>>738692904 It's kind of a waste of money to own more than one but they've all got their own appeal. AC is a modder's paradise. I-Racing gives you multiplayer racing that's properly moderated. GT has an actual career. Another game might have the best physics on the market
>>738685098 >i can tell exactly where this is supposed to be irl from your single static screenshot that's honestly kinda impressive though. thought it'd be more of a "condensed tokyo vibe" than somewhat 1:1
>>738692904 You buy it when the new sim claims to address something you have issues with in your current game. Nobody plays more than one at a time so it’s more that you buy them all to find out which one you like. The average income of racists is higher because decent wheels and pedals are an investment so dropping $40 on a maybe isn’t the insurmountable barrier most of the dirt floor enthusiasts on this site see it as.
>>738696040 I mean, if your reading comprehension is that bad >if you don't see the problem you're a paid marketer >if you think this one thing is too forgiving you're a full blown simfag I went ahead and explained both of them, in case you really are that stupid
>>738697904 I'm still buying it. Won't stop me complaining though. Hopefully I can still make barriers with the track editor so I can drive some actually challenging roads
>>738684021 It's the exact same shit as the previous games, but Japan. There's no progression like how people were saying there'd be, you get interrupted by the most annoying and shittely written dialogue constantly, the races are all the same, the cars are the same, it's just a different coat of paint - again.
>>738698948 So they lied about the progression? That fucking sucks, was really hoping for a nice careeer mode that doesn't just immediately give you all the good cars...
>>738699760 You start out with 3 midrange cars and you're limited for like 2 races but then afterwards you unlock wheelspins (which can give you any car and hundreds of thousands of dollars) and you'll already have enough money to buy a supercar. And you're given cars for doing just about anything at the start of the game (driving around the map, hitting collectables, doing races, going through challenges).
>>738699760 I don't think anyone can decide on how good or bad it is, I think a lot of people just have a wildly different perspective of what "progression" is in a Horizon game. I'll be honest though, if you knew what you were doing, you could get a lot of good cars even in the first Horizon, especially through those showcase events that were pretty easy to get into. But what do I know, nobody can ever agree on how this franchise should actually be handled lol
>>738699760 You still need to complete tiers of races in order, but you can just get an Oyveyron from a wheelspin and if you have played Forza Horizon 1 through 5 you have bonus cars too.
>>738700661 >You still need to complete tiers of races in order You don't NEED to. There's some races which restrict to C or B etc. rank cars, but there's other missions, races and challenges that are unrestricted which you can do that still give you tickets which then unlock the next wristband and more races/missions/challenges.
i might be the first retard on earth to get fh6 running on the 'eck. runs stable enough, i don't play big games on it because I have a good pc. I can get locked 30fps at high settings with fsr set to balanced on the 'eck.
i'm actually waiting for the official release and replaying fh3 as seen in the background thanks to fitgirl
>>738701041 im pretty sure I saw someone afk right outside the starting house. unless they made drivatars afk like real people.
>>738703097 he also doesn't play racing vidya. if he did he'd know that most of the good/sportsman like online racing is done in a/s1 class in forza horizon games. thats the mid tier cars.
>>738701250 >no dnb >no jpop holy retard, there's literally an entire station dedicated solely to dnb And there's loads of jpop, even a Hikaru Itada song
>>738701041 What do you mean what fun? You don't like cars? You don't like racing? Might as well play lethal company if you don't care about anything but the presence of your friends
>>738704445 Drive around and hit all the signs, and do the little speed/jump/danger challenges. Racing is actually the worst part of the game because the level scaling makes every race the same, so once you've done a couple you've done them all basically.
>>738704816 i hate people like you lol >hurrr you should start with a shitbox fuck no >In Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, the starting cars available for the initial racing events are generally lower-tier sports cars like the Lotus Elise, Opel Speedster, and Ford TS50
>>738704980 Because you're a stupid fucking zoomer. That's how every car racing game used to be before your dopamine addled brains became the main consumers. Now it's full of loot boxes to get those receptors really firing. You killed gaming by being a bunch of instant gratification fuckheads.
>>738705061 How should I know? If it's anything like the previous games, they give you any car you could want right at the beginning. It's fucking boring and gay, just like you.
>>738704754 >Racing is actually the worst part of the game because the level scaling makes every race the same, so once you've done a couple you've done them all basically. See, that is what I dont get. Why would I tune up my car if it is just going to put my car in a higher bracket?
>>738705106 What are you fucking talking about? Lotus elise is a low tier car. Are you stupid? Every game made you work for the good cars except modern racing games made for low attention span retards like you.
>>738705154 Because I was mocking the previous games for giving you 30 cars as soon as you boot up the game, retard. You could probably get one in 5 minutes if you get lucky with loot boxes, dipshit.
>>738705276 what chatbot? the one you're talking to to continue your zoomer larp? in 2002 the elise was certainly a higher tier than a bmw supra in 2021
>>738705448 you showed me a scripted short with zero context. show me how you can get a hypercar in 20 minutes of playing the game. cant even see what race he won. full playthrough.
>>738705482 >He scripted his lootbox to give him a good car Are you saying that it's impossible to win a goot car with a wheel spin early on in the game? Please show me where the game is coded to deny you certain cars in lootboxes if you haven't played long enough. You hitched your wagon to lootbox garbage so fucking own it, dude.
>>738705485 why do you think it's a lower tier sports car? is it cause you're a zoomer larper? >>738705549 show me how you can get a hypercar within 20 minutes of playing the game
>>738705667 Whatever you were quoting literally said it was, for one. Also, every racing game I've ever played has had the lotus elise as a low tier car you get early in the game. You're such a retard.
>>738705272 lmfao, they have loyalty reward cars for returning players. Each and every forza title car will be available. The last title car, the amg one, will be given to players that have played fh5. You will receive the fastest production car in the world as one of your first cars.
>>738705698 so you are a zoomer larper. cause you read it and though it meant it was a lower tier sports car, full stop. the sentence means it's a lower tier car in the fucking game you fucking moron zoomer.
>>738705727 And every other game I've ever seen it in, yes. It is a low tier car. The entire argument was that they don't give you low tier cars to start with anymore and your rebuttal is that they... gave you low tier cars to start with. Brilliant argument style. Did you learn it in calcutta?
>>738705735 >How is this fun for anyone? You need to like cars. I do think there needs to be a revamping of the horizon genre where they offer an accelerated 'story' for the normies, but provide some sort of sense of progression for those that want it. I also thought moving the map to a ski resort model would be better. They would color code sections of the map, the roads getting narrower and harder to drive as you move further away from the main city, as well as more advanced options like a full hud removal so someone can just cruise around and not have drift zones and speed cameras flashing and going 'bing bing yahoooooo' all the fucking time.
>>738705912 They've been going the opposite direction letting you go mudding in super cars. You can literally just use one car for the entire game if you want to. That's why the series is trash and 1 and 2 were the only good ones.
>>738705924 not to mention car packs that allow you to get the cars contained in them for free from the autoshow. once you play the intro, you will have access to a shitload of high end sports and hypercars for free. One hour in and you'll have enough to buy whatever car you prefer. The only gated cars are the barn finds and the stupid legendary cars like the ferrari 250 gto, with the price in forza credits matching its real world equivalent of $50,000,000 in horizon 5.
>>738688191 people who never had any intention of playing the game to begin with like to pretend it adds difficulty. the reason I (and you should) know they don't play the games is because the only time you'd ever encounter trees is when you're going from one race to another, or when you're searching around for barnfinds. in both cases, solid trees don't add difficulty but rather only add tedium. when 'difficulty' would matter is during races, where the solidity of trees are irrelevant because the only time you'd thundered into a forest at all is if you blew a corner and missed s checkpoint, meaning you're fucked whether the trees are solid or not.
>>738706084 It's bullshit. There's no sense of accomplishment or fun anymore. Being told you need some d tier hatchback for a certain race used to involve you going to the dealership, picking the car you like, tuning it if you want and going racing with it. Or having to afford an actually decent a-tier car for a more high stakes race. Then it went to you just selecting from one of the 30 cars they give you right away with no thought to anything. Now you can just use whatever car you want with whatever race you want. This series has gotten so dumbed down. It's really a shame since the first couple were great.
>>738706274 It's the conundrum caused by too many cars. If they had progression like older games (fucking gran turismo), you'd be slaving away for hundreds of hours to maybe have 20 cars, and that wasn't all that fun, either (although it did make your choices more important). That's why they need a normie mode where little babies can hop on, play for ten minutes, get a lambo and max upgrade it and then drive up and down the highway for the next hundred hours, and a hardcore story mode that gates higher spec'd cars and upgrades for the non-retarded.
>>738706684 I thought the progression in the first one felt fine. It didn't take too long to get the car you needed/wanted unless you wanted the best cars in the game right away. The object isn't to collect every car in the game, just to have your favorite car in every tier/style. I'm sure it would take forever to collect them all now but you don't really need to.
Hardcore simulation racing games have no progression AC evo even removed their already developed career mode because they have stats showing almost nobody likes it Progression beggars are truly a very loud minority
Honestly I basically only drive the lower tier cars in Forza anyway. Sure I'll blast down the highway at a million miles per hour sometimes but mostly I wanna race D and C tier cars
>>738707583 There's no loot box in any hardcore simulation racing game They don't have progression because no one likes it Forza horizon just follows in their path so you can get any car you want easily Forza horizon also never sell wheelspin and they give out so many of them so you can't use that argument In fact, making game with progression is worst as they can easily sell resource for real money to let you skip the grind >>738707921 Forzathon shop currency can't be bought with real money. You get them by doing weekly events
>>738707921 >forzathon shop. as the other anon said, you do 'weekly' events. Basically stupid shit like 'drive over here and then break stuff' or 'race online and beat the ai as your real world teammates try to kill you'. There's no real money being used, just your time and sanity.
>>738707101 >AC evo even removed their already developed career mode because they have stats showing almost nobody likes it irenting tranny making shit up
>>738685098 Is really that difficult in 2026 put people on the streets? Mafia remake did it right. Every time you try to roll over pedestrian a person just jump away. What's your thoughts sirs?
>>738707921 You’d never be so gay to know this but you somehow know what the internet said about it? lmao pick one.
Yeah you can buy spins with *forzathon points*, not dollars. That’s like saying you’re buying lootboxes with XP. The only thing you’re paying is by doing playground’s “jump 400 feet in a D-class van during a dust storm” tier checklist garbage.
If you’re gonna cry about mtx at least get the system right. This isn’t fifa.
>>738705059 >play racing game from 1986 >car is a testarossa >play racing game from 1989 >can pick a 959 from the start >play racing game from 1994 >can pick a diablo from the very start >play racing game from 1997 >can pick an xj220 from the start >"no racing games always started in shitboxes!!!!!1111one" You are a turbo retard and your first racing game was need for speed underground.

Anyone playing can tell me if they're still doing forward rendering with MSAA? Is the game sharp when playing when turning off all the post processing effect like motion blur and stuff
>>738706350 >go play roguelike if you want progression so much goooooood I'd fucking kill for a rally roguelite run events and stages to get money buy upgrades as long as you have ONE car left alive then its not a gameover
>>738686062 because this isn't an arcade racer i actually like my car not drifting every fucking corner like i have no grip >awful camera 0/10 made me reply
Doing night races down the mountains with an RS8 while listening to classical music was kino. But other than sparse moments like that, this is just Forza Horizon 5, Japan (now with more breakable trees)
So is there a way to tell Steam I downloaded the game when it comes out now that I got the files from that leak and I want to use those instead of downlaoding the game again?
>>738727627 Start the steam download, stop it, close steam, find the directory where steam is downloading the game to, move the files in there, restart steam, verify game integrity.
>>738731543 The early access period starting BEFORE a weekend is some next level scummy shit, honestly. I really fucking hate that premium edition early access is a thing now, especially in a game with a heavy multiplayer aspect
>>738731550 Unless you make explicit liveries, you won't be getting banned because the moderation is extremely inconsistent, it's bullshit. I've been running laps with Asuka Langley, Rias Gremory, and General Lee liveries in FH5 and FM8, and got no bans whatsoever.
i've never played a forza game or really any of the "realistic" racing games in general. always been more of a arcade/kart-racer player, but i'm kinda interested in this one what makes these games stand out in particular?
>>738733254 The realism. Not the exact simulation of said realism. Sending a car 1500 ft above ground would shatter its suspension irl compared to the virtual world of these NFS/Forza/TDU titles.
the progression is a total joke you can make X class 250mph+ rocket for 200k credits, and you'll get that amount of money by the time you earn your very first wristband
>>738733254 Forza is Call of Duty of racing genre, so it's extremely popular because of availability. Motorsport is simcade where you race in circuits like in real life, kinda like in Gran Turismo, while Horizon is sandbox arcade racing series where you get bunch of whatever cars and open map to do whatever you want (drifting, hooning, circuit racing, jump off 100 meters tall mountain with Lambo, or simply cruising in fancy supercar). Quality, however, varies and been inconsistent so lots of people got pissed off, especially with Horizon 5 which is weakest and lamest entry in Forza franchise despite big numbers. Play Horizon 1 or 4, or Motorsport 8 and see for yourself.
>>738733584 C class progression is tutorial mode and past that you can just ignore the career and cruise around the map which beats racing drivatars with horrible AI
>>738684353 NOOOOO YOURE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT!!!! REEEEEEEEEEEEE NORMAL FAGGOT NORMAL FAGGOT NORMAL FAGGOT FAKECEL FAKECEL GYAU GYAU!!! REDDIT REDDIT!!!! AIREEEEEEE!!!!
>>738684021 I wish they dropped the whole festival thing. It just takes me out of an otherwise fantastic game. Like i do not want to hear these many positive vibes written by AI i rather just race.
>>738684021 I wish all the shills here would just fucking die already. Especially Microshart shills. I will not redeem your incompetently made, pozzed, censorious game that uses content that has been recycled for almost two decades straight, saar. Now go get hit by a fucking train and take your coworkers and family members with you.
>>738741806 Real autistic car nerds are more like mechanical engineers or actual racers but I think for every one of them you have 100000 equivalents of a kid jerking off to ronaldo stats or a woman coveting a gucci bag for the status symbol.
>>738744292 Full price? Imagine paying DOUBLE price for 4 day early access. There are people in this very thread who have given Microsoft $120(120 US dollars) or even €120(140.94 US dollars) for this one game.
I liked 5 but today I remembered how I got warning and timed supension for loading the game with cheat engine in the background. And then I remembered how last month of me playing was just doing gacha weekly chores.
So I will only buy this one for 20% or less of asking price.
>>738745728 >Interesting to see how ProStreet has aged like wine modern gaming is just so bad that above average title from back in the day seems like a hidden masterpiece, I still have mixed feelings about pro street the game has a lot of problems but it's undeniable the game has soul unlike anything that came out in recent years
>>738744573 You are paying almost double mainly for all of the DLC, not the early access. It's also cheaper to buy the premium than all of the included stuff individually.
>>738746035 ProStreet was the first Need for Speed where I felt fully satisfied with the car list. Every previous title there was always something missing. I think Juiced 2 had a better car list than any NFS but that game has wonky driving, thought still fun for a playthrough.
Need for Speed would change up their formula every other game and I have grown to respect that. >NFS1 and NFS2 >NFS Hot Pursuit and High Stakes >Porsche Unleashed >Hot Pursuit 2 >UG1 and 2 >MW and Carbon >ProStreet >Shift pretty good run
>>738746267 a bunch of need for speed games suffered from bad reputation due to bad naming or being part of the franchise if shift was called project cars 0 or prologue it'd sell better, if mw 2012 was called burnout fairhaven it would be received better
>>738746425 I wasn't a burnout guy, but the merging of Burnout and Need For Speed into one game was a tragedy for everyone involved. Some people like Hot Pursuit 2010, but as I said, not a Burnout guy. Naming Burnout Paradise 2 Need for Speed Most Wanted was not going to sit right with anyone really.
Crazy to think that if NFS franchise is 32 years old, I haven't played any new titles for the last 16 years of it as HP2010 was the last one I tried.
>>738746264 >>738746473 Can we stop mogging the brokies? Its already tough for them. Not gonna preload since decryption is going to take longer than downloading it from scratch.
>>738746658 The last game in series I played was nfs 2015 and it was pretty fun, shame about it being tied to a central server but maybe mold influence will do something about it
>>738746746 >Not gonna preload since decryption is going to take longer than downloading it from scratch. Probably going to be the case for me as well since I have a gigabit connection, now I feel like a dumbass for preloading. Well, might as well remove the preload and redownload it once it releases, it's not like I have to worry about my write cycles
I WAS thinking of getting the premium edition, until I remembered that DLC cars beyond the car pass are an additional cost. Ultimate Editions died with FH4 and the goyim accepted Microsoft raping them on it.
>>738748232 nigger every once in a while the game would just refuse to launch and i'd have either delete it an install it again or reinstall winblows because somehow it bricked itself that hard i never bought the game in the end because Microshaft killed Turn 10 (they deserve it for wasting 6 years just to make a FM7.5) but if it did keep going I would had bought the game in the end because holy hell needing to download some shitty patch off cs.rin.ru and hoping the random russian stranger didn't fuck it up was annoying as hell
>>738704980 The difference is Forza actually includes shit like corollas and civics. Even some of the most boomer of boomer racing games started you in the lower powered cars
I really like this one, the handling feels a bit more front grip heavy in a good way and drift builds feel even better than 5 and they already felt really good in that game. I like that they went back to FH3's color grading and the map is pretty cool. The thing I hate the most is that they locked the civies in Tokyo behind Horizon barriers instead of just normal bollards and walls like in FH3, idk why they didn't just do that again since it allows for both civie protection and no immersion breaking. Also game runs like a dream, I set all my graphics settings the same as I have them in FH5 (everything on max except RT, with DLAA 4 on) and the only difference between the two games perf wise for me is that 6 makes my GPU get like 2-3 degrees hotter than 5.
lads, I broke and refunded the regular and bought the gigapaypiggy version because I enjoyed the past DLCs and because I was only able to snag next monday off so if I want to no life it all weekend, it has to be this one Playground won... I am defeated....
I paypigged for the Premium edition, I usually just torrent everything I play, so it's not a big deal. Tbh don't even care bout muh dei muh progression muh wide roads, I just look forwards to cruising on the loops around Tokyo in a Chaser
I'm actually looking forward to it. I know the game itself is shit but with enough larping I always find tons of joy. First blasting through that cringe campaign just to make them stfu and not giving me any calls or so. Then building a set of comfy 90s Japanese rwd sport cars without much hp and then blasting them through corners, etc. finding comfy spots to park and do some screenshots. I did the exact same in FH5 and even though I really disliked that Mexico festival theme I spend over 300 hours in it. Now with a Japan map this is really what I'm looking forward to.
>>738755560 Anon, if you spend hundreds of hours in it, like the cars, like the graphics, like the photo mode, like the car customization, like the drifting, and like the map, the game isn't shit. I miss when people weren't terrified to like things.
>>738755430 Thanks, anon. I hate living in my shithole also known as Russia since every single time something doesn't work the first time, I can't tell if it's me or it's has something to do with my country blocking shit because NATO SPYWARE BEWARE, or some globohomo corp restricting access to their shit from my shithole ip, or fucking both. This time I had to update this garbage via powershell.
>>738756057 nta but every forza thread so far has had >/pol/tards seething about the dei slop turn off the dialogue, this isn't the snoy's horizon series, story isn't important >simtrannys seething about wide roads go back to assetto or whatever the fuck >/v/tourists seething about... let me double check... uh... crashing into trees apparently you are still losing speed by going through a tree, you are not going to win any races by slamming into a tree its very easy to see why retards here are hesitant to come out and say "yeah man I like the game" when you have a bunch of seething faggots in these threads who are miserable as fuck. forza horizon games always have been good arcade racers. even the worst entry in the series FH5 gave me 150h of playtime. any racist who isn't a larping /v/tourist will be playing FH6 or is already playing it.
>>738756991 I liked 2 and 3. I can't say if I'll like this one yet because it's not out, but I AM looking forward to it and brown posters can eat my dick wrapped in a tortilla
>>738757951 Has this ever actually happened? I heard about IRL racing liveries getting removed but almost all of my cars have itashas with girls in micro bikinis or even fully naked with logos covering their nipples and they were on the most popular list for the liveries for that respective car. There's like 70 cars in the game which have a naked Ellen Joe as the car's most popular livery.
>>738758303 this is the one that got banned. While looking for it, I saw a few others that got bans, like a KFC logo with Kim Jung Un's face got an 8000 year ban
>>738758649 jannies don't do shit about the mentally ill ejaculating in literally ever single thread. I find less and less reason to post here each week that passes and I've been here for a loooooong time.
>>738697904 >its pretty easy to turn off the dialogue This is cope, the game has so many fucking unskippable cutscenes. They'll just be awkwardly silent. It's not like turning off audio actually makes the game stop nagging at you, it still won't let you play in peace. At least for the first couple of hours, maybe it gets better later.
>>738758649 the hack nearly killed this site entirely people just fucked off from this site entirely or went to altchans to continue discussion without having to deal with schizos and worthless jannies
>offhand comment calling out 'the mentally ill' in general >redoubled effort to derail the thread I noooticing, as the kids say. Talk about cars. What do you want to unlock first? What class race do you prefer? For me, it's A and B.
>>738759736 >considering how much the classes shifted compared to FH5 is there info out there on this? All I know is I don't really care for supercars in past titles unless it's a drag race
>>738760254 When I tried it the game even told me my drivers weren't supported, I just ignored it and it worked perfectly and ran great. Not updating my Nvidia drivers until something straight up doesn't work properly, too many shitty drivers in the past few years.
>>738760528 Yeah, a far cry from the not so distant time of people looking for methods to force DX11 because Nvidia's drivers were always better than the dev-driven optimization of low level APIs.
>>738760672 this stuff always makes me laugh, like when I ran into the "NIGGER MOBILE" in 4, but it makes Reddit very VERY upset so it gets you a ding dong bannu pretty quick.
>>738760749 If it didn't get you banned it wouldn't be as funny imo it would be cool if we could just put whatever we wanted on our cars but I don't think the car brands would be too pleased about it
>>738761064 >but I don't think the car brands would be too pleased about it I think this is the main reason because it's not like this is limited to Forza. Playstation rassin games in particular get super pissy, even about cigarette liveries on cars that exist in real fucking races
>>738761479 its a mix of reasons but that's definitely a big contributor I made a cool megumin marlboro livery in fh5 with her smoking a cigarette. I wish I had a screenshot but I think I deleted it. I never got banned for it to my knowledge.
while the thread is dying because lol bump limit, reminder that there's a racing games general on /vg/ if you want to keep talking about FH6 and other racing games >>>/vg/566581332
