desuwa would need to find ways to do all of that with webp too, although I suppose you could remux it with ffmpeg maybe since webp is, from what I recall, a vp8 keyframe...

One of those wiki sites allowed you to edit the image url and chop off the webp part to get the "original" file, but even that is a pain in the ass if you want to save alot. Always needing to view source the URL.
And the other wiki site just gives a 404 when you try and get around the webp.

I've been reading through so many dead, barely finished and even inaccurate minecraft mod wikis, and I'm genuinely curious why the modders are so bad at documenting their own mods. One of the wikis I was looking at was being mainly edited by someone who said he never played the mod himself and only watched youtubers play it. These are mods with millions of downloads, and people can't answer basic questions about the mechanics.
