I've been playing Arcanum a bunch lately and looking to get into something else. I hate how a lot of modern browser ones (the best way to play them btw) are half-assed demos with a paid Steam version or annoying time gates.
What incrementals do you like, /v/irgins?

fuckkkkk i was playing Arcana too after discovering it earlier this month and was so disappointed that it was just a demo and suddenly ends at a certain point
Anyways my favorite is probably Evolve (and prior to that favorite, it was Kittens Idle, which is extremely similar, although Evolve seems to have much more content afaik).
Dodecadragon was also really great. I also remember Incremental Mass held my attention for a lot longer than expected since I hate when incremental games get into insane scientific notation-like numbers within the first hour of gameplay.

I absolutely love Alkahistorian. It's too bad a playthrough only lasts a day or 2. The only other game I've found that is remotely similar in design is Orb of Creation. It seemed to be abandoned for a while, but apparently the dev came back when Steam implemented that warning on store pages about early access games that haven't been updated in a long time, and now it's set to fully release June 23rd.

The worst part is when it's some guy asking for like five bucks on Steam for a clone of a clone of a clone of a free browser game.

I'm not a zoomer, no one went around calling games "incrementals"
Arcanum is a fucking wrpg
What a garbage post, making everything about your le zoomer boogeyman

he's talking about the incremental game arcanum, not the wrpg. it's literally in his screenshot. you ran into a thread that for something you don't understand and now you're shitting on the street and screaming like a pooskin

There's a new one called Ink Remnant in development right now. Definitely inspired by Arcanum but has a much more linear progression. Has some neat worldbuilding going on if you bother to read.

Shame about this, though.

One thing that sucks about putting time in Arcanum is realizing that everything else is so much weaker than puppetry. All the other classes need some serious buffing.

Antimatter dimensions is the best one I played

That knight game was pretty cool but holy fuck these games take ages
I wish there was a semi idle game where you could just go about playing the game and came back to upgrade your stuff

Lots like that once you deep dive into the genre. More focused on ilding or clicking, and short-term vs long-term vs ultra long.

You now remember /igg/ and how it absolutely owned 4chan cup
