Not very. I know nobody here plays games anymore and you're not allowed to like anything, but I consider it one of the best of all time and it's probably the first game I ever got really into and thought about when I wasn't playing it. I don't really trust it to be remade today without taking something away, "fixing" something that makes it worse, and so on.

There's always someone that says you'll always have the originals, but it's not really true, and I've seen this play out a dozen times in different mediums. Any discussion of the original will always be marred in the remake, you'll have 'big fans' of it that just know the remake and so on. It poisons the well. To this day it's hard to discuss Deus Ex without some zoomer the color of shit talking about Adam Jensen. Same shit will happen here.

If it happens, I hope it's good, but it probably won't be.
