AG3 had that weird liminal-space energy no other game has ever managed to replicate. The whole world felt empty, infinite, and unsettling, but in a strangely comforting way.

Even when I loaded my world with 3 to 5 girls, it never felt truly "full." There was always this sense that you were alone inside some giant abandoned diorama.

The school and the mall were peak atmosphere. Artificial, sterile, almost eerily quiet, but unforgettable. Those places are burned into my brain as my favorite areas in the game.

There are plugins that allow you to export your character into Blender, where you can then kitbash outfits. I find that most people here don't really get the appeal of COM3D2. Yes it has a LOT of issues (abysmally dogshit mod community, bloated install size, almost non-existent gameplay, etc...) but as a waifu/maid manager simulator it's great. Other big h-games usually focus on the character creation aspect but other than posing/doing H there's not much else to them. I think the bigger problem is that even if porn addiction would be a thing, your solution to it is to shame that person and not offer any kind of help or support.
In that essence you don't really care about person having a porn addiction, but getting a chance to humiliate them. Anons bring up a discord or the vhix schizo as the cause now, but let's be real -- it died the moment it became a glorified chatroom between the usual suspects who already knew each other on the cord anyways. I believe there was a genuine attempt at keeping it up by some of the anons who cared about themes especially(myself included), who might or might not include members of the aforementioned in-group, but that's about it.

Oh well, I had my fun, no regrets about the time spent on /kkg/.
In fact I'm even still using OCs/costumes I made for themes there for other stuff on occasion.

It's gotten better in that sense. There are repacks for both the EN and JP versions, the EN version is lagging a bit behind in terms of updates but it's not as significant as it used to be (all the personalities are available in both versions now for example). You'll still have to manually install each DLC but the repackers usually let you download DLCs in volumes and if you get a modern repack you won't have to install much since most DLCs will come preinstalled.
Modding is still a pain in the ass since a lot of modders love to purge their uploads for whatever reason, but if you don't care about hunting down presets you don't really need much. The only things you need are COM Modular Installer which will give you a lot of QoL mods and SKB mods for skin details which are easy to find.

AI is good for some funny shitposts, but anons can pose(and write, if comics/lorebins are still a thing) their characters infinitely better even by using Studio for 5 whole minutes.

But in its defense, I will say I was just trying to do things like throwing my characters at Claude and see if we can get something fun out of it in terms of writing at least. I was entertained at least half of the time.

Koikatsu is cool if you want models that look almost exactly like they're drawn, but you don't necessarily want to see them naked a lot (nudes are where Koi falls short imo)
The models also have strangely poor topology so nude bits aren't very smooth

HS2 is for nude textures. Nothing quite captures the novelty of the almost Pixar style in a smut setting where there's so much detail on genitalia and nipples. It feels a lot more perverted in an immediate way. Initially it had a similar problem where nude bits have poor topology and smoothing, but modders added high poly body toggles to fix this (and they do)

AA2 is old and not really played anymore

Don't know much about Custom Maid 3D. It looks a lot more polished and high poly than Koi, but I doubt the mod support comes remotely close.

if you're expecting custom modules then probably not there yet, though I think both custom traits and personalities have finished foundations, the only thing I've seen that uses that is a pregnancy mod(I think) which I never tried.

My main appeal for mods is having the massive map that combines SVS, AA1, AA2 and SVS(with new jobs like students,teacher and clubs), having a bigger roster so all that space is being used then using the difficulty mod to make relationships actually be harder to do.

More or less but they're going further than that (someone's been working on a preggo mod for example). So far the main focus has been on making small QoL features and expanding the map, some mad lad already ported both AA1 and AA2 maps to the game. Custom personalities are also already possible but no one has ported one yet from AA1/AA2/KK since it's very time consuming and they wanted to focus on other stuff first.

Load in the image (im not sure what forge calls it, maybe i2i?)
Tag it as you see it, any detail that you think would get lost in the slop
Run at pretty low denoise, 0.4 to 0.6 depending on your model of choice, gonna take quite a few tries to dial in how close you want it.
Then just run it and start inpainting mistakes as you see fit.

Honestly might be worth picking up a 3d-esque model and use inpainting to touch up eyes and weird seams on the koikatsu screenshot directly.
