>>565799019 pvme.io has a guide for abyssal beasts, for melee at least the meta is killing abyssal beasts in the wildy (lvl 35) on a specific spot with the normal cannon (also on a specific tile) and if you can't find a free world, it's doing the same in the Senntisten asylum because it's instanced (but less XP due to not having the wildy box damage bonus). no need for aggro pots for both methods. i think ranged uses the same spot but can also use Abyssal savages for less XP. as for magic, probably also Abyssal beasts but i was already 120 years ago, so i didn't do it. for necro idk, i did armored phantoms with the platypus pet tile blocking method back in the days.

Silverhawks are also very good. the way I finished it off was dxp + silverhawk + bonus xp and you can set up your screen at Hefin Agility so that if you never move your mouse you only click 1 spot.

If you are enjoying the quests I'd recommend staying away from sixth age quests until you've completed The World Wakes and its "follows events of" requirements. Though that does require you to complete most of the quests you've already done in osrs.

War's retrat is bad for the game, because it trivializes teleport unlocks and items. Also forces bossing to only focus on singular speedkills and completely removes the nieche of more defensive/economical bossing for longer trips.

I actually do not hate the core of what OSRS is, ie the Gower era. Contrary to popular belief I do believe the Gowers were geniuses. In fact, 2004scape highlights some of their best game design. OSRS blog posts constantly mention removing the "friction" involved in doing things. But what people don't get is that by doing this you have removed everything that made OSRS fun.
If you are going to "remove friction" you have to full send it like RS3 does. OSRS wants to have "QOL" ie 1000 runelite plugins but doesn't want to give you a toolbelt. I mentioned this earlier but it's just fucking true.
OLD RS was getting killed by a fucking evil chicken just because. That was soul. Or your axe breaking and bees attacking you while chopping trees. Back then, the goal wasn't 99. It was to just be in the world. The game was amazing back then, imo. I've played some of 2004scape and it's honestly pretty great but their Discord requirement is fucking stupid.
You didn't even have a home teleport back then. Admittedly I am okay with having the home teleport but it's kind of kino to not have one if I am being honest. There is a lot of magic in those older years that we just will never get back because efficiency has been the bane of the MMO genre.
And to answer the question, I hate sailing because it just does not feel like what the Gowers would have put into the game. Sailing would honestly be more suited to RS3, which I consider antithetical to the Gower vision, but able to stand on its own legs at this point. It's hard to explain why I dislike OSRS but like RS3, even I am able able to truly contextualize it.
I did kind of enjoy OSRS back in 2014 but when Zeah came out I basically just lost all interest. When I first saw A Friend using OS Buddy I kind of knew it was the beginning of the end.

Old RuneScape is such a miserable game and RS3 is better. There is nothing remotely fun about OSRS. It's worse than watching paint dry. i player both games and i'd say RS3 is better for the skilling and some bosses while OSRS is better for the feeling of progression that matters, the multiplayer elements (like Barbarian assault and most minigames have tons of people), sailing (which we had that in RS3) and raids like Tomb of Amascut. elite dungeons in RS3 mostly sucks, i hate the Zamorak boss fight, but our Zuk fight (even hard mode) is way more fun than the Zuk of OSRS. and RS3 had been plagued by the fags and redditors as well, can't say a thing during DXP at W84 without being muted the same evening by a faggy player moderator... even when they admitted themselves very recently that most of the player base is 30+ years old, yet we are only allowed to type like little kids, fuck that shit.

Both games also suffer from what I call mode bloat. RS3 has main, iron, gim.

The only mode I think that is truly worth playing on either game is iron/hcim. GIM is a meme mode where your teammates will quit. UIM = no bank which is fucking stupid. And mains are just p2wscape ever since bonds released. Skipping the game is NOT fun. You think it is, and then you wanna quit because bonds sucked the fun out of the game.
Ironically the only way to enjoy runescape anymore is in a singleplayer mode, aka ironman. Although it's not completely solo. You can do group bossing in rs3, and do minigames etc.

I've been playing for a few weeks now and I'm still not used to the 0.6 tick delay. It feels so unresponsive that it makes me panic and spam my mouse clicks. This leads me to some bullshit deaths in PvM. How do I deal with this? Do I just gotta keep playing and try to fix my bad habit of spam clicking or is there a trick to it?

But sometimes it's when the projectile is fired that it counts the hit. RS3 has a lot more leeway since prayers are only 50% and you usually soul split anyways. It's a gay ass concept but some people have figured it out, try to find a good tutorial video.
