The main reason I come here is that I'm still chasing the feeling I got from playing both the final version and the restored pre-alpha a long time ago.
I don't believe that living off the memory of such short-lived highs is healthy for me, but coming here costs me little in terms of time and nothing in terms of money, so I might as well.

I do wonder if in a not-so-distant future, the explosion of AI-generated stories and art will cause a renewed interest for works too old to have anything to do with generative bots, but at the same time I don't want KS to become as famous as it used to be, first of all because I'm jealous of my wife and second because it's easier to feel like you belong to a social circle when it's on the smaller side and not too new.
I guess even I don't know what I want to happen now, or how I was expecting my life to turn out after finding out about this VN and allowing it to grab my heart.

There is an idea of a Lillyfag. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our taste in anime is probably comparable, I simply am not there

Finished Emi's route a couple of months ago. I've been lurking here ever since. Just wanted to drop a post to say that I absolutely love and adore this little ball of energy with all my being. It's been months since I got to her good ending, which was the first and only route I took in the game as I fell for the "noob trap", yet I'm still not feeling any urge to go for the other routes of the other katawas. Feels like I'll be betraying her for doing so.
I wasn't going for her route at first. IIRC I initially wanted to go for Hanako as she was, for me, the most physically attractive among the girls, at least at first, until the noob trap set in and I undo my choice of not wanting to race Emi to actually go for her. Things went on from there until I eventually fell for this tiny runner.
I fell for someone I didn't find attractive at first, but that, for me, made my feelings all the more substantial, and now I vehemently refuse to play any of the other routes. I am happy and at peace with what I ended up with. Picrel is where it all started, where this VN became something much more to me than a simple adult game I found highly rated at F95zone to fap to.
I've become more productive in life these past few months since I've finished her good ending. I don't know how long this burst of motivation will last, but I hope it'll last long, and I hope you anons here are also experiencing, or will get to experience, the same.
We're all going to make it bros.
