If pulling for new units is the logic for pay2win gacha, then all gacha games are pay to win. There is no gachadevs that will release an unusable unit. Of course they will try to sell the unit as usable for content and Epic7 does this via pvp. If you do not play pvp then it is not a problem.

I just realized that Epic7 is a gacha that needs a lot of months to compete and even a whale returning will probably have to wait months to get the units they want. You cannot compete with a single ML pull alone you usually need two or three, especially for RTA.
