>>566324345 I think he's alright, considering he made that amusement park. But I believe I speak for everyone when I say Halcandle Dee is a worthless specimen that deserves a slow and painful death.
>>566410974 I mean that alone is probably why Magolor was willing to tell Kirby he wasn't actually a Halcandran to avoid being associated with those losers
Cool idea I hope either a HAL employee lurking in these generals or Kumazaki himself sees and poaches:
>if any future games elaborate more on the Ancients and what they did after leaving the Forgotten Land, have there be a secret lab level whose enemies are exclusively various failed Elifis clones/hybrids. >the area boss is a DeDeDe Clone-esque trio of perfected artificial Elifis in stasis, that sense Kirby and pull a Last Giant (chimp out and escape to try and kill him).
Was watching some old X-Men stuff after finishing a casual replay of Forgotten Land, and noticed Apocalypse’s lines fit Fecto Elifis like a glove.
>I know more of this world than you could even dream… that is why I must… DESTROY IT. >I am not malevolent, I am simply AM! >Which will soon be more than I can say for you!
As Chaos Elifis: >Am I doomed to struggle against such filth until the end of time? >Perhaps my newfound power can show me the answer… >AND LET CHAOS CLEANSE THE WORLD!
Bonus for Genwel: >I am the rocks of the eternal shore… crash against me and be BROKEN!
>>566459534 That enclosure lacks all the proper enrichment needed to take care of a Meta Knight. No food or water bowl. There's no high place for him to sit. Terrible.
>>566428394 It's a little funny to think of all the badass fanart of Ultra Sword vs Magolor Soul there is out there knowing he just claps it out of you and you can never use it after that
How older is Genwel than you? Was he destroying planets while were still primordial space ooze, or is it a Jacob/Esau situation where you both started existing at roughly the same time, but Genwel was a few seconds ahead so he’s the “older” sibling by technicality?
>>566521261 >Super Star Stacker >Nightmare in Dream Land >Air Ride >Canvas Curse >Super Star Ultra >Return to Dream Land >Planet Robobot >Battle Royale >Star Allies >that one minigame in Extra Epic Yarn >Fighters 2 >Air Riders
>>566593601 This movie is worth finding the time for.
The story is really interesting, Anthony Hopkins is fantastic, and Mick Jagger does a great job despite not being fully professionally trained in acting.
>>566611673 I do like me some horror on occasion, perhaps I'll check it out
if you want to see an absolute dog shit horror movie look no further then jeepers creepers like it's not even "ha ha this so stupid" sharknado or trolls bad it's just...awful
>>566613653 Fair warning, the movie is very much of an action flick at times, and much of the horror of Freejacking comes from stopping to ponder the concept rather than things actually shown.
Still a very good watch, just want to let you know you’re in for.
>>565544356 Slightly sad there weren't any contributions while I was away, but for the time being, I'm calling dibs on this spot with this WIP, hoping this'll fill up sooner than later!
>>566699661 >Banana (monkey-adjacent item) grants wishes in the most straightforward way possible >Clockwork star (Cat thing) grants wishes with the greatest monkey's paw catches known to man make it make sense
>>566770008 He’s been listening Drawcia’s podcasts about how their world is a simulation, and big Kirby’s repeated attempts to silence her for speaking the truth, even going as far as trapping her soul in a painting.
>>566822256 Then you also know some sneaky Texan is going to shoot him in the head while he’s distracted aura-farming, and we’ll proceed to marinate him in a jar and experiment on him for over 3 decades.
>Fecto lands on earth somewhere in the US >as he’s readying to deflower every living being in sight, a wild Burger spots him >proceeds to initiate first contact by setting up a blind date between Fecto’s cranium and their Mossberg >Glowies arrive on the scene and secure his body before it can regenerate >Fecto gets pickled for 30 years
>>566831059 I thought one of the reasons Fecto’s invasion of Earth failed was because the Ancient’s were too intelligent for him to mindfreak like DeDeDe and the Beast Pack.
>>566865340 Probably, but expect them either a botched/rushed adaptation or Nintendo to go all in on Kirby’s “baby game for babies angle”, completely ignoring the part where that’s just a front to protect the brand and fool censors.
>>566878630 >oh yes, the censors were totally shown all the background/hidden pause menu lore that implies kidnapping, mind control, Freejacking, possession, attempted genocide, suicidal tendencies, body horror, complete ego death/loss of self, and the systematic erasure of one’s soul from existence.
>>566882805 My point is, when Nintendo makes the Kirby movie, they’re likely going to completely ignore that depth in favour of making another key-jangling hodge-podge like the Galaxy Movie, as that’s proven profitable despite the naysayers.
>>566883846 I guess I’m just worried we’re going to get another sanded-down, lore-obliterating potluck mess like Galaxy, because a film that stays faithful to Kirby’s history and also presents the setting with dignity and maturity in spite of it’s child-friendly nature runs the risk of not being profitable.
>>566884316 I think it'll be a little while before a Kirby movie regardless, we'd probably get a metroid movie before that. I'm of the opinion kids movies should occasionally have actually scary shit.
the real question would be this: what would the post credits be?
>>566885697 Assuming they play things straight and make the first movie solely an adaption of Dreamland 1/Spring Breeze >after DeDeDe is beaten and Kirby returns all the food to Dreamland, suddenly cut to outer space, as several Dark Matter float ominously towards the screen followed by a millisecond of Zero’s red eye opening and appearing behind them all OR >cut to the Fountain of Dreams, and then cut to black as a familiar dark ball with stars on it slowly begins emerging from it’s waters
The REALLY real question is whether the movies should focus solely on Dreamland, or solely on Popstar.
I feel trying do both at the same time would split focus too much and greatly run the risk of another adaption fiasco like Galaxy.
>>566887379 I don't think they'd do dreamland 1 or the very least it'd be shortened and do adventure.
post credits would probably be a shot of the fountain of dreams with nova opening it's eyes or a tease for dark matter with the big question mark like the bad ending of dreamland 2.
>>566883157 >>566874370 >when Nintendo makes the Kirby movie I think you're assuming that the Kirby movie will be made by Miyamoto like the Mario movie. It's more safer to assume that if they do make a Kirby movie there's a high chance that at least Sakurai or Kumazaki would be on the directing team so it's likely that a hypothetical Kirby movie wouldn't be bland, safe, and sanded down.
>>566874370 I picture they go similar to the Mario way and bundle games together. First could DL1 + Adventure. Sequel could be one chunk of Super Star + Robobot
Tiny brain: clusterfuck like the galaxy movie (toddler slop tier) small brain: adapting a game beat for beat (safe tier) big brain: adapting multiple games (logical tier) giant brain: making something original that uses already established characters (sakurai tier) galaxy brain: making the movie 100% original but pays homage to the past (kumazaki tier) universe brain: the movie is 100% original and has a massive lore reveal that is cannon (neichel/sammy tier) multiverse brain: we use real footage of space horrors and shoot everyone to halcandra (those god damn alien bastards are real tier)
>>566940349 You ever think Escargoon's accidentally driven the warcrime-mobile off the edge of that precarious as fuck road while chauffeuring the king around?
>>566943569 Let’s be real, DeDeDe probably had him do that on purpose off-screen at the end of every episode, to claim the insurance and make back the money he constantly lost buying monsters from NME.
>>566967731 >lost to the Ancients in 92’ >lost to Kirby again in 22’ >absorbed Morpho Knight’s latent power >even got his copy-pasted older brother’s spear >still lost AGAIN in 25’ JOBto ElifisTED is NOT beating the allegations.
>>566970072 Wasn’t there a glitch in the original release where people REALLY good at the game were spawning in a second Chaos Elifis to kill as well to get double earnings for clearing the True Arena?
