GAME NEWS >Time Stranger is out now! >Alternate Dimension DLC Pack 1: Available Now! >GAKU-RAN DLC Pack 2: Available Now! >Anti-ParadoX DLC Pack 3: Available Now!
>>566457214 Seems to have weirdly cute proportions for what it is, but I like it. I think if this came out 25 years ago, the toy would be able to turn into a bipedal mode.
>>566457214 I like the design conceptually, but it should have been longer and wider. Not like, a lot just enough so it looks more like a jet and less like a jet toy.
>Next week is the villain from the Savers movie How many demon lords do you think we'll see in the last 20 eps? Imagine if he actually brings back Gizmon but as a real digimon this time
>>566457491 >Epulse has not been explored well enough as a concept yet isn't it better that they leave it vague? spilling the beans and specifying everything (e.g. mechanics, links, feeding your e-pulse to someone else's digimon, overloading, max capacity and self-icing) ruins the suspense
What the fuck was this and why wasn't frontiers more of cyberpunk horrorkino like this instead of whatever the fuck the last 20 episodes of constantly jobbing to two retards was.
I really liked this episode. Chiropmon became one of my favorite rookies, even though the digivolutions aren't of my taste. Still, Makoto is kid Patrick Bateman. kek The digivolution was pretty cool, it helped a lot to have other views of the Digimon.
>>566466350 It makes me laugh how ScourgeChiropmon perfectly fits the "preppy elite rich kid" thematic they are giving to Makoto. It's like they designed him with a joke, but mind you, I am not saying this as a bad thing.
>Oh, so this little kid had everything back home, right? >Yeah, I bet his room was the size of a house and had tons of maids serving him >Yeah, I am sure he also had his own personal private jet and all, haha >Wait! WRITE THAT DOWN!
>>566457214 >>566457549 >>566457852 Oh lord this thing looks retarded. It's almost as bad as monarchlizamon. Is this gonna be the BB thing? Adults are good, perfects are fucking dogshit, and then the ultimates look great based on tittyninjamon.
You know, something I will give BB for over GG is how their evo episodes feel like something special. GG always missed the timing, imho, and the emotional impact of those were very null, at least in comparison with BB.
>>566470781 I kinda liked Lamortmon, Siriusmon, and all of Jellymon's evos (the closest to serious feels bait in a horror SoL where plot is secondary) but I get your point
>>566475192 >Klay more or less hinted this with Pyramidimon Huh, I totally forgot about that. Interesting. I'd guess because of e-Pulse, you'd need the guy literally inside the Digimon.
>Digimon Beatbreak is written like a weekly manga series. Future story events aren't fully decided beforehand; the story is being constantly written as they make episodes, and based on fan comments from social media. Even things like the Tactics finale weren't set in stone. https://x.com/i/status/2053291420497096790
>>566475936 >Digimon Beatbreak is written like a weekly manga series. Future story events aren't fully decided beforehand Aren't TV anime episodes supposed to be planned and produced months in advance?
I'm thinking Reina's episode is gonna have to do with her dislike of snakes She's gonna fight an Orochimon or something that's somehow related to her backstory
>>566475936 makes me think that the niggaogamon episode was a jab at recolor haters >>566475936 episodes are prepared AT LEAST a month in advance, and that's cutting it dangerously close. several episodes are in the pipeline at any one point (each at different stages of completion, too) as for how they manage to change things at the last second depending on the audience's reaction, they must be forced to prepare several storyboards to cover for each outcome
>>566457214 It looks more like an adult than a perfect but I still fucking love it. The Chiropmon line has been fucking excellent, I hope he gets to see an ultimate during the series run.
>>566475693 tai did it first with veedramon , this is an primevil motiff in the digimon franchise. the colon themesong is about this moment . Aeroveedramon is prolly my favorite scene in the entire franchise
>>566481937 Asuka's body transforming into a new world ender as soon as his e-pulse is restored in the last 4-5 episode would be funny. >The mon is also the misspelling of broccoli
>>566482025 >Winning against a shitty dog who can't even beat its future sword is nothing to talk about I was referring to Granit and herself. Granit genuinely IS poor, Hotaruko isn't but believes she is.
>>566482129 >Asuka's body transforming into a new world ender as soon as his e-pulse is restored in the last 4-5 episode would be funny. Reiwa Yggdrasil if that happens.
>>566482864 Decode includes Re:Digitize's story and a bunch of new content, like new Digimon and an extra story mode. There's no point in playing the original version of Re:Digitize.
>>566475936 Beat Break exists just because the CEO of Toei wanted something to sit on the timeslot they want for Dragon Ball Super when it comes back, and Digimon was an IP they didn't have any plans for at the time so it was available So it has very little oversight, not a lot of budget, and very little pre-production The advantage of this is that the execs also have zero expectations for it. So long as every episode is done by the deadline they don't care if it flops or pisses people off. Which is how the writers can get away with stuff like Jeffrey Digistein Island
Man, they really don't know what to do with Reina don't they? Makoto and Tomoro got full evo episodes with character development and whistles. Reina did not have ONE thirty eps in, since she already started with Wolvermon.
>>566481882 I mean, Genjo and Wong already appeared and they are the most likely candidates. Even if its a dark horse like Miharu, she also showed up already. Unless of course they pull some insane curveball and its Asuka or Kyo or something, but even then. I guess all we know is that there won't be some new motherfucker airdropping anymore to grab that slot.
>>566488475 >Unless of course they pull some insane curveball and its Asuka or Kyo or something To be fair Asuka's backgorund is incredibly shady as fuck. He was hinted to be a cleaner, yet we never knew who was his partner or what the fuck happened in his missions. So there is a chance in that. Kyo? Well, the writers would have to make the biggest betrayal ever for that to happen.
Let me guess next ep will probably >Have Tomoro/GD meet girl >Girl has harmless seeming Algomon >The two lesbians go after her because it could become dangerous >Algomon decides to become dangerous after getting attacked >Cue cybernetic plant demon that will either get wrecked by Brilliant Thorn to show that they don't fuck around or GD in a "we have to put it out of its misery" deal
>>566489249 >He was hinted to be a cleaner, yet we never knew who was his partner or what the fuck happened in his missions There is still a big question mark on the original Star of Water....
>>566489409 >the whole thing about her being an orphan and being rejecting by everyone was a lie, she just wanted to be closer to Kyo and learn from the best and be involved in World Union shenanigans
Anyone else find it kind of weird that Makoto's dad never hired some kind of private security to help keep him safe when he's travelling. Fuck, why not hire Tactics?
>>566498660 >Fuck, why not hire Tactics? You just want HOTaruko to be Makoto's personal bodyguard, right, anon? But yeah, it seems like his dad never truly gave a fuck about him and was happy enough with having Tsukasa as his spare, but he had to save face now that he knew Makoto was back.
>>566498660 >Anyone else find it kind of weird that Makoto's dad never hired some kind of private security to help keep him safe when he's travelling He ran away from his grandfather's home. There was no opportunity for that even if Seiji wanted to put that in place.
>>566498859 >You just want HOTaruko to be Makoto's personal bodyguard, right, anon? That would be rather awkward. Imagine how much she'd have to suppress her hatred of High End Block society. Besides, she's Granit's personal bodyguard now. He no longer has to be protected. He can live safe in the knowledge that a pink brute will destroy anyone who dares hurt him.
>>566499386 >He no longer has to be protected. He can live safe in the knowledge that a pink brute will destroy anyone who dares hurt him. This motherfucker WAS the bodyguard. Pink hoe got kicked up and down the forest the second she had to deal with an ultimate. Granit/Ludomon blocked hits from them on their own
>>566498516 >GIFT is a terrorist organisation >in his first appearance he tried to blow up a mall >GIFT see digimon as godly being >he wants a GF Would be funny if he made another appearance as a GIFT member because he was promised a digiwaifu
I fatally messed up my phrasing. Granit's entire life was "protect protect protect" because he had literally nothing. Now he doesn't have to constantly protect at his own expense. He can be protected instead.
>>566482360 >chairman wang injects asuka with tomoro's e-pulse, which causes a runaway reaction, spawning the strongest digimon known to man the worst case scenario?
>>566498516 >WMD falls on joke character's lap, turns into final boss due to unexpected turn of events, goes along with it because why the fuck not >series ends with hair treatment and date coaching to help him find a gf weirdest ending imaginable
>>566457214 It's so funny thinking back on how many people thought Chiropmon could've gone down a waifumon route, only for it to go full spy tech batman.
>>566488470 >>566488379 I really want her to just evolve wolvermon out of nowhere in a random episode and just be like, "Huh? I've had an ultimate for months?"
>>566505262 That was only ever the case because it was around the same time TS came out and xitter was aflame with "DUDE THE LITTLE BAT THING CAN BECOME A BIG TIDDY WOMAN" Art due to newfags getting into digimon
>>566506728 He's got to Perfect, she never did. Imagine the smugness he could produce telling her that.
And speaking of Tactics, this is from the latest Animedia magazine interview. There was a hint of this from the Raito & Monodramon cast interview, but I'm actually surprised they're going through with it.
>>566507814 >IIRC Kenji Watanabe said he didn't design the perfects on wards for BB, or maybe even the adults, and it shows His last design on the show was Armalizamon.
>>566481882 It's Kyo. World union will create some world ending digimon that can't be saved and Kyo will try to protect it because of his golden rule about killing digimon.
I have a few questions about the newest BB episode.
How come Makoto has seemingly never told anyone in the team his backstory before this?
How come Makoto's dad never tried taking Chiropmon before this? Why didn't he do it during the Haruko arc? Why was he seemingly absent during that whole thing? Why wasn't he brought back?
How come Makoto never once thought about his twin brother on screen before?
>>566509441 >and Kyo will try to protect it because of his golden rule about killing digimon That's sounds more like a Miharu rule than Kyo. And Kyo is not retarded, if there was a monster that could potentially kill all life on earth, of course he would fight it. It would be a mercy kill, but still one.
We're so out of time now i genuinely think the episode after the next is gonna have Reina evolve into perfect and beat Rose on just their second meeting
>>566510721 >How come Makoto has seemingly never told anyone in the team his backstory before this? >How come Makoto never once thought about his twin brother on screen before? They're not something he wants to discuss (as inferred in episode 9) and given this week's episode, can you really blame him for suppressing the notably recent memories.
>How come Makoto's dad never tried taking Chiropmon before this? The whole point was Seiji believed Makoto needed time away from home to come to his senses and surrender Chiropmon. Instead they ran away. And he's nine. Says a lot.
>Why didn't he do it during the Haruko arc? Why was he seemingly absent during that whole thing? Why wasn't he brought back? Seiji didn't know Makoto had returned and obviously didn't care because he had his replacement heir. The writer of the Haruko episodes had planned to include a reference to Tsukasa, but wasn't able to work it in properly, so it was dropped: https://twitter.com/nishi_ogi/status/2053122205664616602
>Actually, in episode 9, we had the idea to explain that Makoto was able to enter the Shangri-La Egg via facial recognition because he was mistaken for one of the twins... but we decided against it at the time because it was too much trouble. So, the twin storyline, which was only in the setting, is finally coming to fruition...
There's a little remnant of it when the Shangri-La staff member scans Makoto and is so shocked by the family name he doesn't actually confirm Makoto's identity. Now we know why. As for being brought back, there's no way the Shangri-La staff would try and force a Kuonji to do something, their reputation would be destroyed.
I also wish we got to see more of Makoto's "twisted" side in this episode. Like maybe going on an angry tirade about how he'll never forgive his dad if he gives up Chiropmon and he'll run his company into the ground to spite him or something like that.
>>566510828 Miharu is a digimon supremacist, not a turbo pacifist like Kyo. Besides, she's this arc's boss that will be defeated in episode 36. The rest is just your fanon.
>>566512203 >klay defeated >the rest of the 4 guys and the big boss is still untouched >GIFT girl arc that probably has nothing to do with the villain group >19 episodes left how will they do it
>>566513762 Rose will obvious get fucked in this arc as well, Genjo will be the final villain, and the last two stars are fight mooks who only exist to compliment each other
>>566513762 This is all Pandamon's fault. If they hadn't wasted time with those "le yakuza... le good" episodes, we'd have enough episodes to wrap up everything.
>>566517882 She hates dumbass ex-rich who thrown away everything to play hero. She would love the smart competent rich who still keeps his company and helps support her family business.
>>566518076 I think Iori and Jyan has similarity in that their "arc" is their family member being involve with main villain (Oikawa, D-reaper) but that ended up making themselves less interesting compared to their family member. Also they have this proper, serious personality which is easy to be translated into boring if poorly utilized or lack development.
>>566515886 >What if I don't want to be a Cleaner, huh? you get hunted down and put down like a dog at the ministry of citizen rape >What if I just want to chill with my Digimon bro you won't be able to get a job as a criminal an ultimate would get the army called on you
>Miharu's early hair design was slightly more boyish. She is somehow a girl who could fully understand Tomoro on the first meeting without even having to talk with him, like she got even his past experiences. It seems they have a mutual attraction, like a feeling of familiarity.
>>566515438 I'd blame episode 11, the boat, and Mummymon episodes desu. That and Beatbreak trying to be slow and pseud bait. Pandamon was a good episode at least.
>>566513762 1 cour and a half left >rose, the charismatic cult leader, falls this arc, so in 6 episodes >kaito and honoka are a dual boss leading up to kanada and chairman wang (6~8 episodes) >chairman wang and kanada in the last 5~7 episodes there you go
>>566527459 Inori being hetero was like her one thing that set her apart from most of the cast in these games. Kinda like Erica but without her memories turning her digimon into a chick.
>>566489409 i had this thought last night when maquinamon posting. like imagine if pristimon just unzipped the puppet bits monzemon style and turned into the angel rookie and the show became 5 episodes of evangelion lmao
I hope wolvermon is like a dog with artillery cannons on its back or something. a fucking tanuki bus . something bestial and bipedial
>>566522529 >like she got even his past experiences. It seems they have a mutual attraction, like a feeling of familiarity. Curious... my Tomoro/Miharu fusion portfolio just went up...
>>566458917 >He can sometimes be ruthless with his words towards others Where the fuck is this ever shown? I wish we could have gotten this in a monolog about his dad.
>>566512203 I was hopeful they had an ending planned, since we're at the middle of the show and they still keep adding new plot threads instead of resolving the existing ones, but after the news, yeah, the ending will be fucking garbage.
>>566512203 >>566526556 pretty much this it is gooder than it should be but fails to live up to its own goodness which is somehow more dissapointing as wasted potential; feels like a bad season of kamen rider but the animation is fantastic. Its a dissapointment while also being the most entertaining digimon anime in awhile
>>566512574 exactly, the writing has no teeth . There has been too much filler and not enough foreshadowing
>>566513014 afraid to rank xross wars and appmon cuz they go on the top side of the list?
>>566518245 Iori was more than just 'forget he is there' iori is ' want to forget he is there , you actively want to unremember him beacuse he is such a stick in the mud complainer. ' which in hindsight i think makes him a very believable character . growing up in multicultural southern california in the 90s I knew several grumpy children of middle eastern, hindu and eastern european descent and iori reminds me of these dudes with the overly oppresive immigrant parents that always smell like weird ethnic food in the advanced programs. Its hard to say Iori is underwritten beacuse he does not have much going on.
Makoto is underwritten beacuse the rich kid archetype, sociopath archetype, goth boy archetype, cyberpunk visor archetype all have so much more potential but they mostly ignore him and use him as an extra in slice of life feel good scenes that lets admit are signficaintly overplayed for how apocalyptic beatbreak's setting is
>>566540445 >Makoto is underwritten beacuse the rich kid archetype, sociopath archetype, goth boy archetype, cyberpunk visor archetype all have so much more potential but they mostly ignore him and use him as an extra in slice of life feel good scenes that lets admit are signficaintly overplayed for how apocalyptic beatbreak's setting is
I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say here. Makoto's problem was not getting any focus whatsoever until the end of the opening arc. He was just there as an intelligence-spouting support option. There was nothing to him. Once his background was finally explored from episode 9, he's been improving all the time.
>>566460007 >thought Azdharmon and Raito (Naito?) would have learnt to properly digivolve as Ultimate to help Tomaro bring down Klay-sama >they only buy him a little time as Champion and help Tomaro calm down for ~30 seconds so he can evolve into Ultimate by himself Yet another wasted opportunity in this designated time-slot filler show. Truly the Potential [TM] season of Digimon.
>>566544520 A couple of the episodes have ended badly, the Black Market Auction and episode 25 the biggest offenders. There's also a developing concern that the show's going to have to rush the conclusion. But on the whole it's not been bad whatsoever. I've really enjoyed it.
>>566532802 There's plenty of those. Mekanorimon, Trailmon, Locomon, Grandlocomon, Komondomon. There's also Maneuvermon which is another flying ridemon. At this point I think the Ridemons should start a club like the Legend Arms did.
>>566549192 I admit that the second half was a slog, bu the first half was pretty fun. >SHOUTMON >BALLISTAMON >STARMONS >[ANYONE ELSE ON HAND] >DIGIFUSE!!!
>>566513762 Honoka and Kaito are not enemies, Rose may prove to be an ally, Miharu will switch sides at the end of this arc, final arc is against Wong and Genjo.
>>566549540 >Miharu will switch sides at the end of this arc Miharu will die for the sake of GIFT and Kyo will have to kill Atratusmon with Habakirimon to save Gekkomon
>>566550000 Weren't you spics and other browns trying to cancel and "papear" Japan for being le heckin' racists and not sucking your dicks? And something about the Undermeme creator, don't know what
>>566551872 Are you talking about when a bunch of Japanese started to hurl insults to the spics because we're too poor to afford to buy games/anime?
If that's the case, then yes, but it was a minority of over-sensitive idiots on both sides that were each other's throats defending their position.
As for the stuff with the Undertale creator, for what I heard is that he made stupid excuses for not releasing a version of the game in Spanish which apparently offended some. I don't need games to be in Spanish to be able to enjoy them.
One of the grossest realizations I've ever had was that Koromon did not kiss Taichi and Kari, he simply hugged their faces. The dub added slurping and puckering noise sto make it sound like he was making out with them and the redub did not fix this and even added a tongue joke to the outtakes. Disgusting fetishistic behavior.
>>566553293 Yeah, I hate the "Español de España" because for some reason they can't help themselves and shove a lot of expressions that only people from Spain understand into their subs. And don't get me started when shit is dubbed. Somehow they manage to get people that speak so fast that you can barely understand what they say.
I will always choose either English or Latin American Spanish for text in that order. For audio, Japanese or Latin American Spanish, anime/game dubs in English have a tendency for being mediocre.
>>566554486 great great granpappy was raised by wolves so to return the favor he set up a wildlife reserve, and reserves need rangers so he got himself a human woman
Wait, wait, wait. Masaru hitting Yggdrasil in Savers is the reason the host is no longer a trigger-happy genocidal maniac and has become a lolita doll?
neeg digimon ttrpg that goes full disgaea let me hackerman enter my mon's digicore to purge corrupt and malicious data to raise their stats. let me level up legend-arms and appmons and xros fodder to equip them with, and let me enter THEIR digicores to raise their stats too. let me return to egg my mons a thousand times to raise their stat caps to the centadigits and beyond and actually NEED that kind of grinding to face the mid tier secret super bosses
>>566550346 I genuinely don't know why the main protagmons are becoming dumber and dumber over time. I really miss partnermons like Shoutmon and Gatchmon.
>>566567262 It's marketable for them to be wacky and funny and because the specific dynamics chosen for their specific partnerships, as in Gammamon was a younger brother figure for Hiro to take care of while Gekkomon is a manifestation of Tomoro's true wild and free self
It's weird when digimon make animal noises when you know they don't have any actual inclination for that. Why does Monarchlizarmon roar? Gekkomon doesn't roar. Gekkomon's personality doesn't change between evolutions. Is he just thinking "I'm a dino now so i should roar dats really cool!" ??
>>566550346 Been saying it for a while now. Beatbreak is Makoto and Granit's show and everyone else is just living in it. That's why they always have the best episodes.
>>566551872 >>566552843 The whole undertale issue is even more pathetic than that. The writer of undertale is obviously a massive weeb and has made a japanese translation of all his games, but when one spic asked him what about the possibility of having a spanish translation he said some bullshit about the spanish language doesn't having neutral pronouns, so it would be difficult to address his non-binary characters, besides some puns would be also impossible to translate without doing massive changes, so the original message of his game would be lost. Thing that is utterly bullshit, and it was just an excuse for him to say he doesn't give a crap about the spanish community, and of course spics didn't eat that bullshit and then the whole undertale community became a shitshow that day.
>>566571304 He said he wants to personally supervise the translation himself because he doesn't want story to lose the essence or something like that. So yeah, pure bullshit.
I remember getting mad at drashiro and posting Fuhrur Agumon with the text 'Argentina harbored many Nazis after WWII' and it's just so fucking funny how easy they fall for the most obvious bait.
>>566581632 These disregard the way the Spanish language works and actual speakers treat those as borderline racial slurs It's why I kind of thought the "Toby says Tu Es Mierda to the Spanish language community" was the explanation that reflected LESS badly on him than the gendered nouns one
>>566582326 Not slurs, just absolutely fucking retarded and unnecessary, like English forcing its shitty norms where they aren't applicable. Whale is a feminine word but no one gets confused if a whale is male.
>>566551356 >how fucking terrible this franchise is with sequels it does sequels. just look at 02 tamers got its audio dramas and a stage play hunters got 2 sequels
>>566604538 >ryo's games are sequels of each other >DWDCB (dear leader's game) got a sequel >digimon world 1 got a sequel of sorts in next order >digimon world 2 is also a sequel of sorts to >digimon world 1 (same file island and jijimon) all the story DS games happen in the same >world and there are references tying them together >mirei appears in every game since her debut, sans survive digimon does do sequels, just not frequently
>>566611432 Going back and forth between the subs and dubs, Tamers is the most accurate 2000s Digimon dub by far. 02 and Adventure change the entire script around while Tamers generally makes all the lines quippier while meaning the same thing. I'm not sure why. Tri is about the same. All the information from the japanese version is present but there's more jokes added.
Colon and Ghost Game dubs are 1:1 translations. Beatbreak Dub is almost the same but adds quips that weren't in the original.
>>566614495 >If they turn her into a vehiclemon Nah, not gonna happen. Those are very basically very few and ScourgeChiropmon already filled that quota.
>>566612667 Tsukasa looking normal by comparison to Makoto is hilarious. You would think he'd look more upper class than his older brother but he isn't.
>>566615065 Fair point. Also says something that each twin thought the other was the heir to Kuonji Industries, but the apparent actual answer was both of them were. Seiji couldn't even be honest with them.
>>566616687 Honestly felt more to me, like he always wanted Makoto to run the company, but by that point had already invested in Tsukasa, so he figured he might as well sweeten the deal.
>>566620431 There is no way you could defend the Appmon game. It was a certified bomb and the fucking timing didn't help things at all. Also it was basically ignored the month after it was released and not even Appmon fans mention the game ever.
>>566570991 All he said is he doesn't know Spanish and isn't qualified to make a translation that meets his standards. You don't have to make up agendas
>>566625193 >performance all digimon RPGs were lambasted by mouthbreather journos who don't even know how to play video games (e.g. you can cut encounters in half just by panning the camera to scout the path ahead). tell me whether the game is fun to play or horribly flawed or shut your whore mouth.
Sexual intercourse with a Digimon should be considered rape. Digimon do just about anything to please their tamers. You're fucking someone who cannot say no.
>>566627693 Data = Digital Data Squad = a small, specialized, organized group of people working together toward a common goal Savers probably felt too awkward of a name to work.
>>566635426 Beatbreak has far too many filler episodes and missed opportunities to be considered too short, if it ends abruptly it's only because the writers wasted too much time.
>>566643751 Having a designated interval arc is rather strange. It says to me the GIFT arc is far shorter than expected. If we have a full run of episodes until the end of the Spring season in June, then it would be a 10 episode arc. No further missed weeks would mean the show's final arc is 13 episodes.
>>566627693 >>566666017 it sounds like cheesy engrish too, and it doesn't really fit what happens in the show (dats isn't digimon paw patrol or anything)
Next Order might be the most addicting game I’ve played in a while. You’re always working towards a bunch of different goals all the time which makes it super hard to put down. Definitely a “just one more turn” kind of game where I catch myself staying up way to late putting off going to bed for one more day or recruit. Are the other World games this fun?
>>566694974 >She lacks the charisma Nobody can come close to Mimi's charisma. Mimi can make friends at the drop of a big pink hat. Hotaruko can't, whether that's because of her circumstances or her judgmental attitude. Makoto really tried but fumbled it disastrously. Luka and Raito are the first real friends she's ever had.
While Hotaruko DOES have a charming side, it's difficult for her to show it at all. Shakomon however has no problems with it, and I even think she enjoys being charming.
It's going to be really interesting to see how Hotaruko behaves when she returns.
Funnily enough I don't particularly like Ruki at all.
It just hit me that Chiropmon got two of his evos before Pristimon got one. I know she started with her Champion unlocked, but the timespan of reveal/exposure makes it feel like Reina has just been stagnant this whole time. I know Kyo won't get his Mega before Reina gets her Ultimate, but it would be super funny if he did.
>BeatBreak staff are looking at Twitter Get them the fuck off that platform at all costs. Any platform that's infested with prudes, hoodweebs and other shitters are NOT PEOPLE TO LISTEN TO
It bothers me that Beatbreak and Pokemon Horizons have a nearly identical characterization for "little girl villain". Pokemon and Digimon should only be vaguely similar not blatantly identical.
>BB is written based on how the writers react to Twitter shitposts >so Makoto gets dumped and we double down on him and Chiropmon That's cool and progressive and all but maybe basing your writing off of fucking Twitter is a terrible idea.
>>566751929 >Makoto gets dumped and we double down on him and Chiropmon I want to say they had that in mind anyway just to show how his crush was never going to work.
Admitting they use hashtagged posts to influence the story is pure retard. I can guarantee they're going to do something similar with Tomoro and Miharu, only it'll end with her raping his Sapotama and birthing Atratusmon.
>>566751929 Interspecies is kino, as proven by Hacker's Memory and Ghost Game. Besides, human x human in Digimon has only led to extreme mental illness such as Jippy, Kerplop, Kanius, and Crazyeight.
>>566754049 This reminds me of Little Women having the main guy and girl not marrying and having the readers write to ask for the ending to be changed, which the author did not do. This was 1869.

Anyone else think that Meramon is kind of the quintessential monster of the week digimon like I feel like this guy only shows up in background shops or to get his ass beat in like the third episode of an anime series. It’s kind of sad. I kind of want to see a protagonist or side character with a Meramon or a Meramon variant, honestly.
Why did Next Order have so many recolor rookies in the roster? Didn’t they already have all the models and animations from Cyber Sleuth? They can include 7 Agumon and 3 Goblimon variants but no Betamon? This is just ridiculous.

>>566797481 >5th not too bad I guess >marinbullmon literally why? all it did was march straight to golden dawn's HQ pumped full of kanada's e-pulse >rapeshroom at the bottom ghost game's legacy must have hit too hard (yeah I know it did nothing in its episode and then jobbed to hyemon)
>>566816210 I feel like Yugioh has a different structure, since the game is still the main focus, with rules and actions that define it, and thus automatically need more time
>>566817546 Yeah, you are right, but even in Digimon there are seasons that focus more on the fights and the actions and other ones which focus more on the human drama.
>>566827982 Nah, like I said, it sounds like a shitpost, even to me, but there there is some distinct "korean feel" to them you start detecting over time. It's some details, but it's there.
