The gameplay in Sims 1 is hellish.
Sims 2 takes some work to set up, plus finding the mods I used to use is harder and harder as link rot takes over.
Sims 3 is just not stable enough. I'd much rather be playing it, but my game crashes 30 minutes in every time and I've never managed to fix that.

My sims are not made to be reshade pose screenshotslop. The quality of what I make comes from working with the tools I have (the base game's art style), rather than letting the tools do the work for me (smashing together a bunch of CC made to look good from the get go). I could easily make a bunch of Belle Delphine and Gwen Stacy clones and slap a shader on top to farm easy (You)s, but it would be a betrayal of my artistic capabilities.

I actually coined a term for this: I'm a "simtist", meaning sim artist.

I have all the packs/addons and all the store stuff then the fixes, nraas and dxvk. And for some reason if I play with DXVK it takes up more memory than without dxvk.
