Hello JPfriends I have a question regarding late surger (sashi I think?) speed cards. I know right now during MANT and in GL we arent getting any super must have cards (I've been thinking about getting the Maru speed card so I have a second strong stat stick with Kita+budget LoH card), but next year seems to have a lot of good cards that come in relatively quick succession. Can anyone remember what the meta setups for speed cards during L'Arc were ie do I have to pull on Pokke or is Kita+Pasa perfectly fine? Duramente speed is on a banner with Dia wit, but do I actually use that card when SiL is soon after or do I run Pasa+SiL (or do I drop Pasa for Dura+SiL?). I'd appreciate any advice on this matter.
>>566491150 Kita starts running out of gas around that time but is perfectly serviceable. NY event has Speed Dura, which outclasses Kita in every form. But if you want a quick boost side grade, there's Speed Flash or Pokke.
>>566491529 So Pokke is OK to skip then? Good to know, thanks. Flash doesnt interest me that much since she doesnt seem worth investing in when Pasa is decently close and I want to be running her as often as possible as an ace... I know that by the time cards like Dura and SiL come out Kita will be relegated to the bench, but I was also wondering about Dura vs Pasa (since I know SiL is a must have).
>>566490858 Dunno if it’s too lewd but maybe them h*lding h*nds since that’s how Ai’s trainer first got burned to begin with. Matching glowing eyes would be a nice touch too
>JSDF being able to perform Ready Steady Derby perfectly in only 3 days after BOANE release >Netkeiba posting links of horses that show up in uma gacha announcement (atleast at one point they did officially collab so it's forgiven) >JRA VAN hold events that invite Uma seiyuus, with event bonuses featuring the real life horses of Umas they voiced >this https://x.com/i/status/2053358570759180402 Too many sketchy shit and they expect us to believe there is no yakuza in keiba? Or when JRA heads said they know nothing about Uma? Uma run deeper in JP horse racing than I initially thought. Cygames might be THE yakuza afterall...
People keep saying that Shion is honorary himba but for me she does have that bratty shota qualities so she still can pass as a stallion for me. Now Satono Diamond. She's a woman girl no matter how you see her. The true honorary himba. Even umas like Eishin Flash, Mejiro McQueen and Mejiro Ardan can still pass as ikemen types. The closest one to Dia is Dantsu and Pisa maybe.
>>566507104 No, but it is emblematic of the recent predictability in Japanese racing. the ecosystem around the Shadai Group is so suffocating because they have the best everything; stallions, mares, trainers, jockeys You see smaller farms and owners struggling to compete and you want to see the underdog have success to create more balance so its frustrating that the big guys win again and again and again (Top 4 of NHK Mile were all Northern produced horses).
>>566527328 >ハートさんにも似たような経験があるらしく、一度それについて話し合ったことがあった。 >『────いわば狩人の本能、といったところでしょうね』 >『本能、ですか?』 >『Right! 獲物を狙うベストタイミングとは一瞬、その一瞬を逃さないために経験則での判断が圧縮されて直感という形で表れている、のではないかしら?』 >『……なるほど』 I know Heart go camping with Tacto, but I didn't know that she also does hunting.
>>566565345 What can I run to emergency pivot non-front wise? I was thinking of like, pace Ardan / spweek and possibly change back line gamblor to fantasy pasa and drop dominator entirely.
>>566539640 That last hope of balancedied when Shadai bought out the next biggest farm earlier this year or last year. As long as Shadai controls the farm system, it’s a really uphill battle.
>>566539640 When was the last non northern horse won? Reservation at NZT? 6th place on NHK mile is not too bad. But I get you people long for a new Titleholder.
>>566569253 HBD Kawakamibro. I don't remember seeing Kawakamifag in /umajp/ but I remember a few in /uma /so this guy might be posting in the wrong thread
So, now that the event's over, what did you guys think about the story? I think it's one of the best event story we've had this year. They're really killing it with the cutscenes, and the story is really touching - like it's an actual epilogue to Janpoke's movie. Degitan and Tappu's subplot is really cool together, it's nice to see a serious and cool side of Degitan as she fully play to her role as the "fearless hero". Also Tachyon is there too, I guess. It's pretty funny how she was actually monologuing the entire time during her fight against Janpoke.
>>566573104 I absolutely posted in the wrong thread lol >>566570875 I cringed too but honestly it was funny to walk in and see that cake and she even told me that it was to make me laugh so she succeeded there >>566570327 >>566572448 >>566572859 thanks guys, I love my mom. we actually watched the anime together and she quite enjoyed it too. I believe her favorites are teio and mcqueen. I think it's because she was a young athlete who had to give up due to an injury so she can relate.
Lovcen speaks like an old man Realize Sirius has menacing name and scary relatives (Gold Clan) but is actually the one of the nicest person you'll ever know
>>566603692 >It's almost time for Fujita's 2yo debut when his 3yo has done jackshit Ebayan really took all his luck away. Also the Flightline will demolish everyone
>auto train fills team meters >instead of training to level them up and resetting the gauge, it chooses to waste a turn on a race I already knew auto train in BD was shit, but I didn't realize just how shitty it was oml
>>566613294 I went and used umareader for the campaign events, and even just reading through it I'd say it's great. Nicely balanced between keiba (Heart persevering as the last of her gen) and UmaTore. (they're very nice together, and are practically dating by classic year)
I particularly like when they got some alone time together during a dance event, and Cesario and the other rivals who were looking for Heart elected to leave the two to their flirting
>>566613329 we told you guys to wear a fake wedding ring but Buenatore confessed the whole plan to his childhood friend. Let's not invite that guy next time
>>566613329 A buddy system perhaps? Joint training program with other trainers. Never find yourself alone in a room with an Uma without your buddy trainer.
>>566618719 Auto is best used for wasting it on URA for throwaway bond points. It's horribly optimized otherwise intentionally so people would get frustrated into going manual.
>>566632280 I just want Croix to run Takarazuka and get that first Spring Triple Crown. But the Yoshidas look like they’ll actually back out, which makes me mad.
>>566632280 Curious how strong Mumai is without Cristian. Cavallerizzo hasn't been able to reach his asahi FS heights without him. Personally I have the top 3 in their gen being 1. Croix 2. Masba 3. Mumai. I think Masba has the heighest peak but hard to put him over Croix when Croix has 4 G1's currently compared to Masba's 1 G1. Energico was looking really good but his career got derailed by an injury unfortunately...
>>566634375 He had a short term license like all international jockeys for the last few races of the year. Cristian is a jockey primarily in France. He's probably preparing for the French season to start. You see jockeys like Moore, Buick, Murphy, and Cristian show up in Japan because by then the European season is over so they can race in Japan.
>>566633032 >But the Yoshidas look like they’ll actually back out, which makes me mad. I’ve been hearing that the trainer Saito was fully on board either Prix Foy -> Arc rotation and would talk to the owners about it so letting Croix attempt the final leg of the spring triple crown seems really unlikely which fucking sucks. They don’t even wanna give him a chance to make history and instead just want to waste him at France all over again
>>566635481 It feels like Ebayan’s BCC success has been pressuring the Shadai empire into trying to achieve overseas over domestic. But theShadai horses are too fine tuned to Japan turf now, at least compared to Festa’s and Orfevre’s Arc attempts. All it takes is one mud wizard and poof.
>>566676374 When you name a horse Croix du Nord, you know what they intended its destiny to be. Probably will do the same with Les Yeux Noire if she does well.
>>566676374 Remember what the elder Yoshida said about using Haruten as a stepping stone for King George. It's pretty clear that the Yoshidas still have that showa mindset where Japanese horse racing has to catch up to more "prestigious" countries like UK or France.
>>566680914 The Yoshida don't know that those European races are willing to change the races name to G1 Umamusume King George or Umamusume Prix Arc de Triomphe the moment Cygames offer them money. I think Cygames only sponsors smaller scale G1's out of respect but they always had the money and ability to the funny
>>566635481 >I’ve been hearing that the trainer Saito was fully on board either Prix Foy -> Arc rotation They're really doing the Family rotation lmaoo, but it's still retarded because they have enough time to do Zuka > Foy > Arc there's absolutely no reason to skip it
>>566684232 >Qipco's King George sponsorship ended last year >Qipco's British Champions series sponsorship will end this year >Qatar's Arc sponsor last until 2027 Cygames can do the funny and sweep them all
>>566693320 Yeah winning a Dirt Sprint G1 in burgerland should be a massive achievement but it certainly doesn't feels like one. Guess that's what happen being the undercard when everyone only give their attention to KD
>>566695374 That scene was such classic Bookworm meets Queen Bee, it was the purest execution of that trope uma has done so far. Hearttore never stood a chance.
It should've been me, not her! It's not fair! I studied hard, busted my ass training day in and day out. I get into Tracen and what do I find?? My assigned trainer (didn't even get scouted) is a female ningen!
>>566698423 An extrovert and introvert bringing out the best in each other, if I had to say. Nothing new, but done quite well.
To her, (You) are the perch that she can rely on when she needs a break, and there are multiple points in the story where Heart sidles up to her torena and they spend the moment in silence like that. To torena, Heart brings out courage and sides to himself he never knew he had, as shown when, no shit, he saved a kid from falling off a building. Heartore's honest responses to Heart's teasing basically means they're flirting all the time. Also, instead of トレーナー Heart uses あなた a lot of the time. There's a bit more to say but this is already long enough.
>>566671284 >$8 for a shitty plastic stand Just make your own at that point. It can't be hard to find a weighty base and glue on a stick or something to hold the nui up.
>>566702163 I think since the trainers since 4th anni have been stepping up to bat, moreso than pre-4th, since they have specific memes like >kakehashi >dense harem protagonist >childhood friend >red eye madman >glory eyes
>>566704283 >>566702864 Festatorena did this when Festa was getting hustled by bikers, volunteered to play chicken with them and only won by driving himself off a cliff. Festa got him before he could follow the bike down, though. That's how they met.
that pair of actors from Royal Family's final episode is part of an auction from Northern Horse Park. Maybe JPanon can participate https://x.com/northern_horse/status/2054033826582577441?
>>566699705 >An extrovert and introvert bringing out the best in each other, if I had to say. Nothing new, but done quite well. What other stories are like this?
>>566720227 Heart passed on the torch to Tact, vis as vis Fusapan to Ai-chan. If the juniors are the ones breaking records, imagine Tacto in her campaign...
I've finished Heart's career, and I think it's the best one of the gen that portrays the group as a whole (I still prefer Cesario's for the romance). And as the last member of the gen, some parts of it are written as a send-off to the gen. Though the gen being as it is, it's not as good as Believe's was. And man, it's nice when the Trainer is actually involved in the story huh? It's more than enough wash the bad tastes of the last one. And HeartT was a good character too. I can't remember the last the time I've seen someone this timid, and he grows to be more outspoken even though he's still an introvert in social scenes.
>>566729569 cont(rail) I can't tell whether he's dense or not. The introvert part of him is probably holding him back, but the christmas event shakes up the usual 'stacy who is nice to nerds' dynamic to an 'adult and teenager' one where he gave her a teddy bear in exchange for her scented candle so he probably doesn't think of her that way. Not yet anyway.
>>566730451 >he probably doesn't think of her that way
Certain events show that he does imo, it's just his shyness holding him back.
If you win Oka Sho, NHK Mile Cup and Shuuka Sho (Oaks optional), then you get the bonus scene described in the spoilers here >>566619549 There's also the event where he saves a kid which ends pretty romantically too.
>>566729569 >I still prefer Cesario's for the romance) Does Heart lean less on the romance or do you mean Cesario has better chemistry with her trainer?
>>566729569 Heart's feels very similar to Crown's campaign in that it expanded on how the Classic generation inspired themselves to step up without the (you) as a trainer element, like Shakur using Messiah's self depreciation to make her snap out of it. And it's nice to see the trainer utilized properly, maybe it's the aftertaste of whatever Aruvu's campaign was because we've had good trainer writing for a while.
>>566736692 NTA, but you're gonna be hard-pressed to one-up a scouting story confession like Cesario's either way, not to mention name-dropping (You) in the bride alt.
Having said that, I like Heart's dynamic better. Shakespeare nerds don't @ me.
>>566733886 They probably didn't know how to write her. It feels like they add forced drama for OTHER umas and then forgot that this was Aruvu's career. The second half felt half-assed and her trainer is literally a cardboard cutout.
Lememe is continuing with Regaleira for the Takarazuka so I guess that means no Masba either. I really wish they’d just let Croix go and race there too…
>>566809443 >8Q for Donna >7Q for Daiwa Major >next question >2000s colt >ask if he has 7 G1s (nope) >less that 5 G1s? (nope) >went down the list of g1 wins (all wrong) >give up because i think they want me to guess a G1let >it's major again Fuck you
Is there any keiba lore why Zephyr features so many metallic/iron heavy looking elements on her design? It's kinda clashing with her otherwise very light and princessy look, these ornaments would make more sense on brutal competitors like Brian, so there must be some reason why.
>>566818747 Is that correct information? I double-checked, and it doesn't seem they are involved in any heavy industries, they are stock and investment company. Hajime Doi was a president of Daiman Securities Co., Ltd, right?
>>566819927 Not Hajime Doi, but the founder of the Yamanin Clan and the original owner of Zephyr: Kouji Doi. https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%9C%9F%E4%BA%95%E5%AE%8F%E4%BA%8C >1939年に慶應義塾大学法学部を卒業後、日本製鋼所を経て1941年に中央製作所庶務課長に就任[1]。1944年に土井航空機工業を設立したのち翌年に土井産業に改称[1]。1954年に土井商事を設立[1]。
>>566817775 >Is there any keiba lore why Zephyr features so many metallic/iron heavy looking elements on her design? Wow, honestly I didn't even notice because of her boobs
>>566857249 Her campaign is just a good, solid "introvert meets extrovert" story. The fact it manages to balance that with the well-done keiba aspect is doubly in its favor.
>>566866910 When I'll stop being a lazy cunt. Go check the gook wiki if you really need to look up something, those fuckers keep it more up to date than I do with ours.
>>566882718 you can still get meaningful gains while committing considerably less than that IMO, it'll take longer overall but at least to me getting a bit of literacy slower is better than just not gaining any at all
>>566878362 I want to give Rhein Kraft a successor so badly. I want to give her persistent shots of sloppy white goop directly from my penis alone. She would subtly flap her ears and wag her tail to key me in on what she actually wants, only to lose restraint and suck my cock dry like a gogurt tube until every last drop of my seed is sitting comfortably in her womb; assuring that she will conceive the healthy successor she was destined to have. I will never stop cumming inside Rhein Kraft, crushing her uterus consistently until conception. Her pussy will squeeze me dry and rip any condom that may be on my penis which is something that she would never condone, nor would be something I'd consider. She would ensure that I have enough sperm after each session of training to make sure I'm just as ready to train for the onslaught of sex she will put me through, the likes of which I will never be able to escape with her insatiable hunger for my baby making liquid. There's absolutely no way I would ever even consider pulling out of Rhein Kraft under any circumstance, and likewise she would never allow an opportunity to slip where she isn't running without guarantee of pregnancy.
>>566898437 Ebayan is draining Shibuya Abemas luck too... Ngl this final series has been a blast. I guess that's what would happen with a couple +100 games.
>>566900043 https://x.com/naolda/status/2049806345516560412 Competitive mahjong has been around for a while, but this one treats the game like an actual sport. Seasonal tournament with standings & playoffs, even the players wear sport jerseys instead of usual suits & dresses.
Japan should just sell their non-stud G1 and any graded stakes winning horses to other countries like Turkey, India or to countries with developing keiba like in southeast asia or africa i bet they're willing to pay more than what horse sashimi factories are willing to offer
I think Japan should promote recreational horseback riding so that the horses can pay for themselves and they dont have to resort to selling them to 3rd worlders that will treat them like shit.
>>566902021 Are there any non-stud G1 horses with their balls? Also nobody is going to want a horse with only a single G2/G3 win. Besides, a horse sent to those countries will wish it was horse sashimi
>>566902281 This. After what the non-Japs did to Sirius and their lack of foresight with Vodka's welfare, I'd much rather they be retired as riding hors or just be silly ojisans in retirement farms.
>>566902281 They're already doing that with the JRA and a bunch of major retired horse organizations spearheading the effort, but second career training takes a lot of time and money so there's only so many horses they can take in in a year. I know the JRA set aside a certain amount of money to care for retired racehorses, but I wonder if there's a better way. Maybe some sort of retirement fund tax based on the amount of horses an owner has, it should help stop overbreeding too.
>>566903280 Silver State went to stud even without any graded wins, and Zeffiro went to stud in Turkey. It boils down to how much people coped on a certain horse/pedigree
>>566903280 >nobody is going to want a horse with only a single G2/G3 win Aussie bought Loves brother even though he's a total jobber, solely because of the bloodline. Just need to find a market
>>566913451 BA feels like it's going through a Priconne/Grubble bloat stage. After a while, the new characters become blurs and the old characters get forgotten. Off topic, but Gakumas also feels like it's been slowing down massively as of late.
>>566913574 Well a large portion of the fanarts is still the usual >Blue twin tailed fatfuck >White haired loli >Blue cow with open sideboobs So more like the memorable characters remain immortal and no one even remembers which new character is who
>>566919245 Well in that case, then yeah it’s only 2 years old. Bandai probably keep gakumas running since its the best that franchise has done in a while. But it’s slowing down, especially with no new idols this anni.
>>566919896 I see what they sort of want to do though, since the way they’re continuing to update the game makes it awkward to keep adding new characters at regular intervals.
>>566927025 >It doesn't matter to them what happens down on the ground. You figure they've watched our ugly wars and stuff since before there were airplanes?
>>566930487 If only his trainer and owners weren't being so fucking retarded and just enter him in it already. It's clear that people want to see him race there to potentially make history and just see him race domestically in general after being overseas at the later half of the year last year
https://readyfor.jp/projects/fujimoto-byerley-stud Here's a crowd funding project to help train Fight and Izana for their racing career debut. Seems like the owner who originally planned to buy them had to cancel the contract last minute, leaving them without an owner and an uncertain future. So the farm decided to train the two themselves and become an owner-breeder just for them.
You just know Kimtetsu power harassment fuckery is still going strong when even Lemaire is forced to ride his stable jobber horse for the Derby instead of the usual イイウマデスネ and pick any horse he like to ride
>>566937996 Not saying it's not real, but how would he even pressure Lememe when Lememe's a free jockey? He's still in high demand, so Kimtetsu threatening to not hire him wouldn't mean much.
>>566954416 Good for them I guess. Maybe he'll also show up at BC this year and becomes the next Invasor. Also not sure how much higher KYR can climb. Only way I see him reaching higher than 130 is if he wins the Everest by like 4 lengths
>>566903280 Shion is on stallion duty even if he doesnt get nearly as insane a number of mares as the most profitable sires in Japan. But ill throw a wild guess its because his owner likes him that much and Shion enjoys mating quite a bit.
>>566959487 think I've read it in a Twitter post that his owner took the time to see each and every foal sired by Shion after they're born. Is that the same guy who dared Cygays to send him a swimsuit after Shion card and show them a real summer Shion
