Neat, they gave Oongka and Kliff some more armor bits. Now we just need to have some more Greymane-styled options for Damiane and I can have the whole squad match.
>>566623884 what new armour? from what ive seen its just kliff is now able to wear oongkas shit, which looks too big on kliff anyway and doesn't look all that good. is there actual new sets for kliff?
>Fixed an issue where "Sweet Taste of Bounties" could not be completed when progressed in a certain order Fuck you, it's still not fixed They probably disabled picking the bounty until Yann is there but I got it beforehand. What the fuck do I do? The item is already in my inventory and examining does nothing. I reported the bug two weeks ago and this is how they fix it...
I felt like the msq was pretty lame until I got to the chapter yesterday where you go to the northern country and join the war against the black bear guys, holy fuck that was so cool. Does the story manage to keep this positive momentum from here and do you go back to shitty side quest type stuff at some point?
>>566641610 If it makes you feel any better that quest is just dogshit all around, I did it correctly and still spent like an hour wandering around the sanitarium looking for that fuckhead thinking something must be bugged, what a miserable quest
>>566643889 Just read the rewards for the Scattered Embers questline and I'm not gonna bother anymore, I just hope it doesn't lock me out of other questlines or NPCs
I just started trading for the first time with the Yann quest, love the concept. An idea for a mod would be more imperfect trading information - rather than being able to view everyones trades at a distance on the map, it would be cool to have a trading post in camp where you can purchase info from wandering parties who've been at different camps. The validity of their info would depend on their own trade, the distance they've traveled (how fresh the info is) and their relationship with the Greymanes contra the other trading party. It doesn't have to be convoluted or hard to implement.
>>566643412 Main quest is kind of all over the place. Has some other big moments of an even bigger scale than the Black Bear battle and the battle of Calaphade when you siege a different castle but also has some really disappointing bosses like the eye in the floating fortress and the dragon versus evil turrets. And then it ends on a big WTF even was that? story note that explains nothing. You have to find out what happened from hidden secret books in the Axiom Archive after it's done. No the game does not tell you this.
>>566643889 Should have been some clues or a trail to follow to find the bastard. All of the bounties with wandering targets should have more info on where they might go and when. They also need to widen the path to the jail cells in Pailune because I hauled an asshole from Skoghorn to Pailune and when my horse stepped on a small object I was suddenly wanted for vandalism and had to ditch my bounty.
What's the new headpiece in the claw machines? I could not find it just rotating around the machines and was only able to pull out some rather basic things.
I just spent 40 minutes reading through knowledge entries. Fairly well written, especially for the individual Greymanes. I should have read those sooner.
>>566662463 I know this is bait but, the entries are barely longer than an AI prompt, it makes no sense that they'd be generated. They're also descriptive of the places they depict, so I can't see how that would even be done. The Greymane entries seem reflected in the spoken lines and their VA direction too.
Also, why the fuck would you build a bridge in this way, without using the solid rock in the center as additional foundation? The noble who commissioned us should get his money back, even if it only was a single medium pouch of copper lol
>>566662249 >>566662463 >>566663128 They're more than mere knowledge entries, they're a fresh and dynamic way to engage with the story. Do you have a specific knowledge entry you'd like to discuss? Just say the word and I'll be happy to help. It's not bait you fucking retard, he's right. every text has multiple obvious AI isms
>>566632398 >>566663356 What the fuck, I think it is real. I tried to get a similar shot to compare and I think it's pretty undeniable. Look at the lantern ring. There was subtle ass cheek showing that has been censored Did they not mention this in the patch notes at all? why did they do this
>>566663847 Care to elucidate us by pointing out those "isms" if they are so easy to spot for you? There's been a growing trend of pointing at things and saying "AI" without giving any sort of justification, like you're trying to state how well versed in genuine, soulful writing they are despite themselves not being able to articulate what distinguishes something as AI in writing.
>>566655248 Stonks is cool and all, but if its not based on actual world conditions, its trash. Like invasion of certain nodes that control production of certain goods crashing prices, or a lack of rain crashing certain food prices if it happens in a region for specific crops. Or NPCs dynamically talk about power outages in Delesyia disrupting production of certain mechanical commodities. Cut off access to mines impacting weapons prices.
>>566669330 >but if its not based on actual world conditions it's an action game, how much of a world should it simulate for a trading system before it's decent in your view? See pic rel, they even try to add flavor and reasoning to the prices fluctuations >its trash Compared to what? Genuinely, to what? EVE? >Like invasion of certain nodes They added the reconquest system just a week ago, what are you demanding here? You just seem to be a shitposter
>>566670428 Because if its just pure RNG based on nothing, you might as well be playing Duo instead. I didn't say the game was trash, I said trading was trash. Which it is. It's worth doing right, if you're going to bother putting it in.
>Finish Yanns quest of selling pepper to central Demeniss >Load cart up with cheap produce from new place >Take a stroll around the premise to check out the large warehouse before going back to Howling Hill >Turn around to cart >It's gone >Cart has teleported a few miles away into uncharted territory for some reason lmao
>>566670786 Here it is, in a random intersection I've never been to The ride home was exiting, for some reason the southern Demeniss soldiers want to kick my ass
>>566670749 >Because if its just pure RNG based on nothing Not true, se my previous picture. Even if it was, it's a fake market in an action game, not even a RPG. >I didn't say the game was trash, I said trading was trash. Did I say you were? What made you think that? >Which it is Again, based on what? What games are you comparing it to? Name one game that's on par, let alone one that has a better trading system. If you can't, then calling CD "trash" for not living up to some autistic world simulation you're imagining is just shitposting. To my experience it has pushed trading further than previous games I've played. I've only done two deliveries so far. Finding safe routes to trading stations, avoiding bandits or clearing out camps to make the routes safer for future passage, both for the Greymanes and the populace in general. Avoiding bumps in the road, watching the scenery - it seems relaxing and fun enough as a way for getting funds for whatever may come.
>>566671818 I can't pet the ones attached to the wagon :( Actually, taming larger work horses for wagon use would be another cool system that could meld well with the rest of the game. I want mod tools asap
>>566673030 Are you NEETing it? Just put aside a bit of cash each month. The market sucks but you can play this on low-medium details on a PC that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. Good mods would be another nice motivation for you lol
>>566673613 I will have to upgrade eventually but I have many hobbies that add up, and I've blown my fun budget by a lot lately. I felt guilty even buying CD. I'm still mostly content with what my computer can run. I actually hope the modding scene flourishes so by the time I do upgrade there will be a lot to play with.
>>566663847 If it was AI they would prompt unique entries for each entity, but things like bandit camps and butterflies have identical text or at least partially so. Why would they go out of their way to do so if they were using AI?
>>566677138 >Journal entry >I saw Kliff steal my undergarments AGAIN today, it's the third time. Now that I have to acquire them myself, the cost is adding up.. I asked Nadia for advice, buy she said she usually goes commando. I was shocked, commando, in leather? That must get... steamy. >Let's go with something less stimulating for Kliff next time...
>>566663356 Has anyone managed to do model extraction yet? They were able to add a custom model creator, surely someone can mod in the ass model from the previous patch lol
>>566688232 true, i read them for the first time yesterday after hearing people piss and shit themselves over how these were supposed to fill in so many gaps and shit but they were not fucking interesting at all
>>566688232 >>566689574 You aren't story people at all and that's perfectly ok. But that doesn't mean that just because you don't like them, that means your opinion matters about if a story is good or not.
>>566689912 >You aren't story people at all and that's perfectly ok what's that supposed to mean? i literally have hundreds of books, i love a good story, and CDs story aint it
>>566651834 This game wouldn't have sold 5million copies if the MC was a bimbo unfortunately. Still, they could have given Damien some cute/slutty outfits; they'd literally just need to port them over so I don't see what's taking so long.
Mixtape, an indie title, mogs CD in story department anyway.
Still, there's nothing wrong with your favorite game being a shallow time sink with zero cultural value, created to fatten shareholders' accounts. Just don't go around pretending that it had any chance standing beside the other generational classics.
It's very unseemly, like a peasant putting on expensive garbs, pretending to be cultured highborn, which applies to both CD and its glazers.
>>566686698 modding is only hot if it leans heavy into gooning. this game only has naira and damiane, thats not enough. also the devs need to support it with official tools. koreans wont do that shit even if its the only thing that can prevent the end of the world
>>566692296 I'm still waiting for bara Kliff mod on par with Skyrim ones with bouncing pecs/asses + dynamic sweat beads rolling down the back traversing between the buttcheeks.
>still no elegant carmine uncensor mod >still no elegant carmine uncensor mod >still no elegant carmine uncensor mod >still no elegant carmine uncensor mod
this game is fucking dead i'm sending **** threats mails to their support fuck these retarded gooks
>>566697245 didn't even know about that game til i saw it posted on /v/, and doesn't seem interesting in the slightest, and i still find CD's story shit, is there something wrong with not liking CD's dog water story or something? i bought the game, have many hours in it, why aren't i allowed to have an opinion on it?
>why aren't i allowed to have an opinion on it? >how come CA supporters sperg out aytime anyone critiques their game? >how come you can't say anything negative about CA? >why do I get so much hate for expressing a negative opinion on CA? ask your employer for a new script hindu man, you're all over these threads and never once offer any real criticism
Those Varnians will establish religious rule in Hernand and Demeniss and put all women in Pywelian burqas or face execution by stoning with bloodstones.
>>566701340 no cause that would actually be interesting. imagine my disappointment when I reach the opposite end of the map where characters have names like abdul and rakim and they all speak in the exact same british accent as they did in hernand makes the world feel a lot smaller
Modding this game is too disorganized, every week you have to dig through the comments of broken mod pages to find an update linked through somebody's github rather than using the site itself. The platform might as well not exist for CD. The github downloads are fine but it all needs to be compiled in a pastebin to keep things centralized.
>need red seaweed for more stamina >spend like an hour cruising the coasts to farm it >turns out you only need it for that one level and the rest are just straight abyss legos
>>566708026 people are strangely atached to faded abyss shit when its worthless and abundant and you really shouldnt need to think twice about using them. peoples shitty hoarding mentality is a not a game failure
>>566708081 i dont know why they bothered with all these new mounts, sure people were asking for them but they want the best ones, like the ones you brought down, if they can retroactively made it so that you could ride white fang after killing it then why didn't they do the same for the white and black lions? absolutely baffling decision to give us ugly ass regular mob mounts and not the legendaries where applicable
>>566708701 theyre shit devs, they dont even properly scale the animals or change the gait and leg positioning for different mounts. your character doesnt mount or dismount properly, the legs are literally floating inches off to each side for thinner animals, and it looks completely unnatural. gookslop enjoyers are completely accepting this subpar trash. even elden ring is better with its 1 mount that it does better than any animation in this game
>>566709176 ikr, why is white fang like this massive wolf monster when you fight it but it suddenly is this small thing when you actually get it as a mount, and we're supposed to believe this thing thats barely larger than kliff and support kliff and all this weight in full armour being that small size it just looks weird and awful
so since i got the witches and mark of darkness rings i upgraded them to about 7 or 8 and used them pretty much for my couple hundred hours of play, wore them for fashion mostly, after this new update and the refund materials i decided to wear the white horn and white tiger rings and both of them dont have attack speed buffs and i couldn't believe how slow combat was, i didnt realize all this time the only thing that made the combat good was because i had almost maxed out attack speed buffs on the two rings i was wearing the whole time. without the attack speed the combat was fucking awful i had to go back to max out the witches ring to wear it and now the combat felt good again, never used the attack speed gears cos it seemed like the biggest waste of a socket considering all the other options of gears you have
>>566722720 Yeah all you need is max attack and movement speed and you can kill all bosses on hard mode with +0 weapons. I've been doing that for fun. Trukan was kind of a bitch though. He randomly break out of combos, counters and punishes you for parrying.
how many fucking camp expansions are there? I just got the 2nd upgrade and assumed I was done but my vendors still have stuff they can't sell until I expand more
Wait, do I have to go back to the back every 2 days to reapply my investment? I picked the 2% one and when I got back to the bank days later it only got the 2% investment returns once, and the rest got 0% investment returns.
>>566728303 It's not a 2% investment, it's a 0% - 2% random roll. I had the same deal where I came back and it just "randomly" rolled 0 several updates in a row
>>566717310 >circus >zero mini games, rides or content before they barely added one mini game what were they thinking??? they need to add like 5 more and also let you actually ride the damn thing
>>566718010 That was gone several patches ago actually. I tried to make them ~2 weeks ago when I got into playing Damiane and saw other people saying that the guides no longer works for them either
>>566740194 do you really think their time should be spent on more minigames when CD already has like a hundred minigames and the msq actually needs a ton of work?
>>566730504 That's a straight up failure. That's 177 million in raw earnings, before 30% of that goes to Steam and an additional 10-20% to taxes and other stuff like that. The production budget was 133 million, BUT the marketing budget is always the same as the production budget itself, which means they're likely still 100 million in the hole. Not to mention the rapid patches are also costing them millions more in additional costs. This was a financial disaster in terms of profitability. It doesn't really matter if your revenue is up 100% if you're losing tens of millions of dollars more.
>>566740872 that's just the revenue in a month. there will still be a DLC and a definitive edition that will put them over into pretty good profit numbers
>>566740872 That’s the profit bro. Do the math, sold 5mil+ copies which is at least 350mil. Then all the cuts and taxes come in and that’s how they get to 177mil.
>>566747102 First off, America is just a bunch of brown mutts and Mexicans. Second, Europe is just a bunch of brown Turks and Indians. The Japanese didn't touch this game, therefore it's not a white game at all.
>>566741069 They'll lean into some p2w or multiplayer to start the milking eventually, so profitability will happen. But it's not a breakout hit that reaches profitability before it even launches, like Elden Ring and some other games. It's not really as big of a success that some people are saying though. They're out of the danger zone technically speaking, but they haven't seen profitability yet. And for investors waiting for 7 years, they're still mad.
>>566750663 making back more than your budget in the first month is totally solid. not earthshattering but the game is going to be a commercial success. they are clearly still developing content for it and will probably sell multiple dlcs that will put them into comfortable profit since the engine and world and all the time consuming stuff already exists.
>>566745592 After they patched the hot air balloon I happened to be in the jungle when I summoned it. Got stuck in some trees and eventually exploded into pieces.
>>566770597 I've been playing only a bit each day, doing a boss or some exploration each session. This game should last me until the end of august at this rate
>>566770597 disappointment in other games mostly. but it's getting harder and harder stay interested because ive hit all the major milestones and put a decent amount of hours in
>>566772398 i noticed this too but for dragons dogma threads my impression is that they have a lot of crapcom blowies like resident evil, dmc and monster hunter fans who like DD also, so there always seems to be a steady stream of engagement for it too plus it(dark arisen) being something of a cult classic and does have a modding scene behind it. where as PA only has BDO as a foundational pillar for their games and honestly with its p2w and mtx probably has a lot of haters from within the players itself. considering all this makes it make more sense that CD doesn't have much engagement here
>>566672373 NTA but >Not true, se my previous picture. Even if it was, it's a fake market in an action game, not even a RPG. I'm pretty sure the point is that it going up and down is purely random and not based on anything monitorable or capable of being influenced. It's not that crazy to have a game where prices can be affected even if minimally >What games are you comparing it to? Starsector, Space Rangers off the top of my head. Wars increase the value of certain items, real time cargo transports that can be looted or destroyed, good shortages based on actual events etc. If you're having fun, you won. But that Anon has a point that minimal simulated economy aspects aren't some insane futuristic concept. Even fucking Fable 1 had price of goods vary based on supply.
>>566743124 >Here bro, enjoy these drip fed minor changes every 2 weeks even though you did pretty much everything already. What do you mean we could have just finished the game and had this stuff at launch?
>>566807280 >Yaan is drunk entire way. >Picks fights with random passersby constantly which you have to resolve. >Wagon has extremely low durability so you have to ride it more careful than usual. >Quest has a very strict timer, if you fail then you get nothing.
>>566807512 >Yaan constantly repeats same 5 lines for entire journey. >Cat is mandatory and meows every 2 seconds. >Have to stop off at random locations to collect herbs and bugs in long grass; cat is clingier than usual and stands in-front of the player most of the time. >Bandits appear periodically and block/attack the wagon. >Quest has an underwater section.
Do you automatically gets your abyss artifacts refunded when you learn a skill you already unlocked through observation? Or do you have to manually refund everything to get the excess abyss artifacts back? Also at what point in the story should I start using the abyss artifacts to upgrade my gear? I'm still saving them up to buy health/stamina/spirit upgrades.
>>566809108 Oy vey Greymane! The Shais have weapons of mass destruction! We need to invade Poporin immediately and kill all of the children and cat people before it's too late!
for a long time it was that you had to use a faded abyss artifact and tefund all your points in order to get the artifact spent on an observed skill, i do remember people calling for this to change and for it to be automatically refunded to you without having to use a faded artifact but im unsure of myself whether they have changed this or not since i havent done it in so long
>>566809012 >>566810872 What I remember from a patch note is that if you're witnessing a skill you have already bought you will instead be given an abyss artifact. That's for new players. If you're already deep into your playthrough you're gonna want to reset your skills to get those extra artifacts back
What's the best food to feed your farm animals at camp? I gave them some wheat and they managed to eat them just fine, but it's kind of a pain in the ass to get a lot of them to fully sustain the ranch since you have to go around every vendor around the world only to be able to buy a few dozen of them.
>>566813232 they will eat meat too if you put it in the feeder, i used to slaughter the fully grown cows and pigs, then put thier meat back into the feeder along with a bunch of wheat or barley from the cook
>>566820458 I think that's because you have to be like 75 hours into a casual playthrough to get into the meat of Damiane's kit and start finding gear for her
Why is this game so tiresome to play? I feel like I'm accomplishing a lot, but don't feel even a modicum of fun being had. I'm on Ch.8, when does it get fun?
I don't get some of the mods I'm seeing on Nexus. Why would anyone want Kliff or Oongka nude when they don't have a dick mesh? Not even an underwear bulge. Who the fuck wants to play as a Ken doll?
Should I just turn off the Re-blockade feature? I just had to redo the stone quarry because it got captured by bleed bandits and it's feels like a hassle to clean up a mess you've already cleaned before. It did spawn a stone golem boss (not sure if this is part of the feature or not) and it dropped an item that gave me around 60k stones which is probably more than I'll ever need.
>>566823540 It's like how if you smell something bad, but for whatever fuckass reason you decide to sniff it. There's no enjoyment in it. No pleasure. But your brain decided to suffer for a few moments.
>>566843374 The thought of Koreans resorting to physical labor to achieve anything is hilarious. Also, the Varnia/Tommaso grocer sells both rubber and seeds, IIRC. One of the two, I forget which of them exactly.
>>566844021 >The thought of Koreans resorting to physical labor to achieve anything is hilarious. Why would they? That's what niggers are for (but you gotta whip them because they're lazy).
>>566830730 I had to engage with this mechanic for the first time in order to get enough contribution points in Tashkalp and it was awful. Upwards of 4000m for some of the bounties and you're forced to use a mount after literally never using mounts for your entire playthrough because flying is so much quicker and more fun I'm never doing a bounty again now that I have this ring. The grind sucked. Contribution points are broken. You cannot convince me you can buy all of these items. I have basically done every faction quest by this point and about 6 bounties in order to afford one item
>>566827602 yeah yeah ok just stop playing nigger. what's with all these fucking retards always talking about how they play 100 hours and constantly cry about how shit the game is? what kind of idiot plays 100 hours of something that's so miserably boring for that long? put the shit back down on the plate, stop chewing and eating the steamy poo, and walk away.
>>566843374 no, they just didn't want it to be a run up, click, and wait 2 seconds kind of situation. getting brimstone, mercury, rubber, and some other rarer materials takes unique processes and a little extra work, and that's sovl and if they remove it, I will be extremely disappointed.
>>566854981 I agree irs sovl but it is just funny not you only need to punch these very specific tress, you need to use the healing variant, aim at these white spots. And then you need to wait for a few days in game. Getting rubber is more complex than some of the gimmick bosses.
its the people who put a lot of hours into a game that are able to see its flaws more clearly after getting a well rounded view of the game. thats why you dont take seriously the reviews of games from people who have only played an hour of it
Why does everyone bitch about the puzzles? Are they genuinely retarded? I literally did not have to look up a single one. I did get stuck and waste some time trying to figure out I had to reconnect a cable in one of the earlier ones for the first time since there wasn't yellow paint and nothing suggesting that was a problem. But that was it. It is quite literally no harder than Zelda puzzles, and those weren't hard either.
>>566878903 Yeah I knew that, but the dead section was pretty short and wasn't easy to spot. But I got it. Naturally, the next couple times it showed up I solved those pretty easily as well.
>>566877054 Too many games explain everything and put HUD markers over every objective. Whole world's gone retarded and can't figure out simple puzzles from context clues.
I haven't been able to play in days because my gf has been watching movies every night. She's coming off a nast people's court kick so I don't have the heart to kick her off
>make your mc the most bland unemotional piece of wood ever in the history of gaming due to extreme incompetence in puttong together a good script or working closely with your voice actors >fuck it, we'll just 6 ""lorebooks"" last minute and say this was on purpose because the guardians took away all his emotions because he was a fuck up in previous cycles. GENIUS!
Yeah.. honestly i was shocked, like seriously? This was supposed to explain why Kliff is such a dead fish? And hide the explanation behind 50 abyss puzzles you need to do first instead of leaving bread crumbs around the world for us to learn bit by bit? Not even by the memory fragment sections that seemingly is perfect for lore drops they just ignored memory fragments of past Kliffs or of White Crow scheming or any of that?
>>566895161 Its unironically not that bad of an overall story framework. It's a bit generic, but what isn't? Elden Ring is literally "youre a fucking nobody, go kill all the teen angst edgelord demigods, collect the ring fragments, and then burn the tree". Most stories distilled to their core elements are like that. Kliff being a dense near-mute isn't so bad, but the problem is that it works in a 2 hour movie where the payoff is at the end. In a 100+ hour game, people check out before then. The game didn't need Kliff to be an emotional pussy, but they did need the world to react to that part of him more convincingly. NPCs getting awkward from the silence, or asking him why he seems distant or aloof. Greymanes joking about when he doesn't have much to say or doesn't react to important news. Dropping small hints about there being a real reason he is the way he is along the way. But they don't do any of that.
not defending fromsoft storytelling but at least the item descriptions fill in a lot of gaps, pose questions, get you thinking about stuff, coupled with other environmental story telling by way of architecture, purposely placed items that give hints as to why something was found here or there, all of that is why elden shit lore videos can be made and spark conversations amongst its players. but crimson desert? yeah bro lets use AI to come up with the item descriptions then try to fix it up a little so its not so obvious but in the end its still incomprehensible and is just fluff and add little to nothing to the overall picture of the land or whats happening to it, plus its disjointed story and bland characters and embarrassingly deaf mute mc and marvel tier villians.
CD and Elden Eing are worlds apart in terms of the quality of its story telling even if both are still shit
>>566902157 No they're both equally shit. The only real difference is the souls series doesn't try to pretend it has a story. It has a world with characters in it but there's no main quest line to progress, you're just shoved in a direction and that's it. It never leaves a bad taste in your mouth, you cant critique the game's story because there isn't one. Crimson Desert pretends it has a story. Which is fucking annoying because it's just korean AI gibberish
>>566877054 Agree, I don't get the trouble. And the ones I don't figure out immediately I can very quickly parse out. The only ones I've looked up are the time-wasters where you go there and see a map that tells you where to find the answer elsewhere. Don't have the patience for that.
whoever designed that quest with the shadow harpies where you have to escort that incredibly slow hobbling witch lady 700m back a forest for some reason should really get ball cancer
I'm over 100 hours in and there has not been a single puzzle in this game that I have not looked up a guide for. I have also fast forwarded every cutscene since the tutorial I'm the cat on the left, I really enjoy this game but it is not receiving a single ounce of my actual attention
>>566923278 It's bizarre to me that a company would clearly spend so much to develop this bafflingly huge game and then just not bother to hire competent writers for at least the main story
>>566924171 They had a story since 2020, but the game was rushed out recently due to investors threatening to sue. A lot of the content we're seeing in the patches was definitely cut content that had to be put tk the wayside to get the game out in time. Story was obviously cut too.
>first DLC is 109th cycle >you have join GOYen in destroying the abyss and its jewish masters >also sending the current world to destruction in the process & you have to slay its people trying to stop you
>>566860468 What even is the difference aside from aesthetics? Seems like the stats are mostly the same except for +1 attack or +1 crit. Not even the unique weapons feel good to use, as the special Abyss gears can just be extracted and slotted somewhere else.
I managed to get the body swap mod to work with Barber Unlocked. All you have to do is merge the character folder. From a body swap mod into the barber unlocked mod. I was initially confused as to why it never worked as there shouldn't have been a conflict but the issue is probably with the mod loader. As you can tell from pic rel. Kliff is too tall for the barber ui because I have successfull swapped his mesh.
>>566927193 until pearl abyss releases official tools i have little interest in modding because shit will constantly break, require tons of manual trial and error, and also generally be shallow in what you can modify. its sad but meh
>>566927465 Barber unlocked hasn't been updated in nearly a month. It's still works fine. The CC mod on the other hand breaks all the time. All these mods do is swap assets that are already in game.
>>566779449 >But that Anon has a point that minimal simulated economy aspects aren't some insane futuristic concept. I never claimed it to be, I just thought calling it trash wash trashy behavior, especially when he couldn't name anything better himself.
>>566809456 There is no such thing as "Poporin" and there never was. It's a loose collection of vagabonds and nomad camps. Besides, Goldleafs would never target Shai directly. Any deaths are collateral and a direct result of cat people using them as human shields. Any reports of dog rapes on Shais in our salve camps or sponsoring Bleed bandits to poison wells in the area are flimsy racist lies spread by Demeniss instigators. We have proposed that the count should ban all public post boards until we have secured proper education facilities for the populace younger generations.
>>566854705 >yeah yeah ok just stop playing nigger. what's with all these fucking retards always talking about how they play 100 hours and constantly cry about how shit the game is? They are paid by western publishers to steer potential customers away. They say they've played for dozens of hours to make their shitposting seem more legit. The cost of five or so pajeets shitting up this place is negligible, but killing discussion about competitors is invaluable.
>>566899508 to me it seems more like they wanted him to be more of a Link type character where his responses are implied so you can self-insert. they just kinda fumbled the execution. I agree that the story framework is good for the type of game this is.
>>566928728 Programming certain nodes tied to certain goods being destroyed or occupied (as even shown in dispatch missions and node names themselves) to impact prices. Certain factions having their entire trade network disrupted. Keeping track of where it spawns rain or other weather conditions for X days, then triggering a price movement up or down. Not even programming anything at all, and just making NPCs talk about current economic news while going through regional hubs and cities to give you hint about price movements. None of these things are complex to implement.
>>566930936 This isn't your typical game, they can sometimes wander a bit off from its pinned location. Like that one other woman in Demeniss, she isn't always at her marked location, she could be at the village center instead. If you're really impatient, just keep running far away and then back to reset the spawn. Or keep teleporting to a fast travel point and go back. But I recommend you just fudge off somewhere else and try again later, don't let it bother you.
>>566931596 Sometimes the description helps. There is a thief in Delesyia that only shows up at the marked spot at night and I somehow bumped into him during the day in a random location nearby.
>>566926540 >What even is the difference aside from aesthetics? Seems like the stats are mostly the same except for +1 attack or +1 crit. +2 crit, +2 attack speed or +4 attack actually but yeah that's what I was asking. I went with fated shadow cause if you enable sheaths the black scabbard for it looks pwetty cwool. Also being a +4 attack, fated shadow is the optimal archetype for my stats as well. Does YOUR 1h sword have 72 attack? I think not
Why are there so many """puzzles""" that are just pointless shite??? >here's a map on a wall >go on a dumb scavenger hunt to find symbols or pictograms randomly tacked onto trees or cliff faces so you can punch in the code! >btw there's like 5 of these samey gimmicks around the world map, have fun :)))
>>566943996 How do you have 15 movement speed? I'm not seeing where the other 4 is coming from after your two earrings and chest gear. Unless this photo was taken mid combat. I dont know if other people have noticed this but if you look at your stats during a fight your movement speed increases several points for some reason. At least on paper. My current 13 movement speed is only outside of combat, if I look at it during a fight it's 15
>>566953208 not that anon but yes that's why. him and I are both using the newly buffed contribution rings which each give 11 attack 1 crit. that's why my 1h sword is in the 70s >>566937424
