>>566656379 Being white. The main sign a RPG is anti-white is if it has alien or fantasy race women and doesn't let a human MC romance them.
The white man is a conqueror and explorer and the apex of humanity and his briliance exceds those of other species. So naturally alien/fantasy women should be conquered by him. If a game denies white men this, it is demoralizing them and saying that he is lesser and not worthy of the alien female's adoration I.E. not being able to conquer her. Proper fantasy/sci-fi show the male protagonist rising to overcome obstacles through his excelence and upright moral stature, thus despite there being more powerful and sncient races such as elves, asari etc. They recognize the human man's struggle and valor and fall for him. If a game denies this it's saying you will never amount to anything no matter how hard you try. This is exemplified in Rogue Trader by Owlcrap games where the Eldar woman no matter how much you help her, frogive her betreyal, put your neck on the line for her, she still humiliates you by forcing you into a non-sexual relationship with no touching allowed if you pursue her while not letting you see anyone else, setting all the rules. Meanwhile in Mass Effect Shepeard is given his proper treatment. So choose wisely which game you play and support.
>>566656379 HUMAN sisters we need to STAND UP and voice the UNFAIRNESS of NONHUMAN (or INHUMAN as I prefer to call them) women in CRPGs they're literally GENOCIDING us as we speak
>Galfrey is the eldest daughter of the last prince of Mendev who died under mysterious circumstances on a diplomatic mission to Sarkoris in 4601 AR. She was quickly crowned and has remained the head of state ever since So she killed him?
>>566657329 Deedlit. In fact my obsession with smoochable elves goes all the way back to watching the Lodoss OVAs and wanting to be a human male warrior who travels the world with his elf gf.
>>566649439 Are they seriously considering rewriting and recording all dialogue? Or was that just some bullshit they said on social media to try and damage control?
>>566658141 I doubt it. Even if they did, why would it be better? Same writers, same casting directors, probably same result. With an added time and money crunch it might even get worse, see what Larian did to Wyll.
With my final breath, Rogue Trader I kill all your enemies Now you have no need to post further in this thread about your struggles In fact, any future Rogue Trader posts should be considered heresy
>>566658141 Well for the male character yeah because almost every single feedback they got was complaining about his voice. And given that majority of RPG players play as a male, they kind of have to do something.
>>566658369 It's kind of weird because voice acting, when present, was always fairly good quality in general. How could they drop the ball so hard on the Expanse?
>>566657921 Their AC isn't usually that high IIRC. Just use standard stuff like Heroism, Prayer, Bless, etc. Magic Fang or Magic Weapon people if you have to. And throw Death Ward on your tank if the Ghosts have a level drain. They'll have damage reduction but they usually don't have many attacks and you can just drown them in normal magical attacks.
Another anon mentioned Finnean, but in addition to him the "Bane of Spirit" Ring you can get by upgrading the Crusade mode phylactery reward also gives a hit bonus and transforms your damage into force damage which lets you whack ghosts. Cam also has an ability to transform her weapon damage into ghost touch.
>>566660116 Kino. I'm assuming Owlcat were too lazy/retarded to actually make her personality different in game though. Would be cool to see she just murdered someone in a fit of jealousy if you went the distortion route.
>>566660727 they clearly made it for Heretic because she does have a few lines with her rambling on about "perfection" on that path, implying Slaaneshi worship. At least what I remember when I did my heretical playthrough 5 months ago >Would be cool to see she just murdered someone in a fit of jealousy if you went the distortion route. All companions should have much more heretical behaviors when you are going down the chaos route. Abelard,Solo,Jae,Cassie,Kibbs and Pasqual should have 1-2 moments of them spiraling down and becoming worse versions of themselves on your ship or in party banter. Idira have 2-3 lines on the ship but no one in the party comments or even acknowledge that she's now possessed. You can have both Argenta and Heinrix in your party while encouraging her to open the door and let the daemons in and they just stand there watching as she gets mind raped
>>566669197 Neeshka's easy. Cute rogue tiefling gal, there's little not to like. Bishop confuses me still. Like I'm aware that some women are into that, rabidly so but come on. Still can't forget that scene with him though >Oh thank you thank you heroes! Thank you for saving me. How can I repay you? >We could fuck.
I just cured a bunch of hunters from a curse, then sacrificed them to a spirit. for 1k exp. Idk how to feel about it. Although they also did drop decent loot as well.
>>566667181 >>566662964 >>566666052 I'm going to G E N O C I D E Halsin and those faggot Druids cause they're a bunch of gay pompous asshole nerds. I'm going to court and impregnate my future wife and queen Minthara, seeding her fertile dommy-Drowussy with quintuplets. Quintuplets of which only one will survive. I will feverishly and sloppily make out with her while she enjoys hours of euphoria during her final, ultimate CHAD-ZAK as my little future CHAD-from-my-ball-ZAK future heir slaughters his (or her?) siblings within my beautiful Drowess lover's womb for unlimited power. She will be gushing wet with arousal fluid down below as my tongue wriggles like a tadpool inside her wet warm mouth, her body perpetually quivering and seizing with pleasure. It will be all she can do to resist accidentally biting off my tongue... (or consciously deciding to bite off my tongue and flood her throat and stomach with my warm blood in one final act as my lover, to feed our heir) as it is plundering the depths of her facehole for her bittersweet DROW-ool with desperate thirst... All while she experiences the equivalent of 100 earth-shattering, full-body orgasms... Washing over her all at once in a final crescendo as the ferocious fetal fratricide within her fertile fuck-furnace of a womb climaxes in its brutality! Ensuring the perfect product and progeny of our unfaltering love is nothing short of a living God.

>>566680665 It's funny because it was openly inspired by D&D. Even Pirotess (>>566657740) is essentially a misinterpretation of how drow look based on this cover: >>566670710.
>>566655724 >talk to dog >sad story >eat severed leg >sad story >use spirit vision, see a ghost, talk to them >sad story guh.. why is divinity 2 so sad
>>566683338 Well they have at least ONE sad story. But why not tell us an interesting story from their past? I'm sure something good happened at least once.
>>566690628 I believe it’s confirmed the new fat admech RT companion has several cutscenes where you catch him muttering about foids and being rejected by women on the ship
>>566690156 In DAO, redhead barmaid calls herself a wench. And then kisses you for saving the town. And then kisses you again if you give her gold so she can go to Denerim.
>>566691350 >Two Dalish elves are having romance problems >They like each other but guy is too chickenshit to make a move >You can trick the girl (or guy) into letting you hit by saying they need practice >You can then blow up the relationship >You can then feed the whole village to werewolves for dryad pussy
My very first playthrough I got the werewolves and the golems and had no regrets.
>>566692442 Anyone other than Sebille Beast or Red Prince works. Sebille and RP are great but much better as companions and Beast is irrelevant. Lohse's quest works well as the player. Ifan is tied into the main plot but is boring as fuck so you're not missing anything playing as him. Fane's quest is the most plot relevant but I don't really recommend playing as him for your first playthrough.
WOTR has the sexiest party I feel. Not a bad looking person in the group. This is a negative btw, I need at least one Oghren/Durance/Harrim/Korgan type to relate to
No. The last thing fantasy videogames need are romances that focus on the positive aspects of relationships. That's fantasy, a honeymoon. We need down to earth, gritty, realistic romance. We need romantic disappointment and commitment issues. We need romantic interests that openly state their lack of attraction to/appreciation for the player because otherwise, what are we doing? Enjoying ourselves? Just what, having fun playing a videogame? Immersing ourselves in a fantasy world? No. We need to live. Laugh. Love. Be disappointed. Heck, be disappointing.
>>566664420 >>566704896 Elrond was 9/16 elf (and 1/16 maia) Arwen was 25/32 elf (and 1/32 maia) Under the Nuremberg laws, Arwen would be counted as a trueborn elf, EXCEPT she married her cousin Aragorn who was only something like 1/2^60 elf, which would obviously not be allowed
>>566707029 >Grandfather had his passport stamped "Aryan" because he was in one of the auxiliary slav SS regiments >I'm now apparently more German than a lot of full blooded Germans
What we need is a child raising CRPG >god gives you kid >"RAISE MY CHILD, SHE IS THE CHOSEN ONE" >then you spend most of the game just making her stronger, making her beat slimes to kobolds to goblins and evil wizards >then in the good end, you get to procreate with the now well endowed child of god >in the bad end she just becomes a tramp
>>566707825 Iff Yrlitard was actually more remorseful, humbler and became politer to everyone it would have been fine. But she mostly remains a stuck up bitch.
>>566708350 She was somewhat kinder to the player and had was nice to Idira in her personal quest, but other than that she was the same towards the other crew
>>566708350 She volunteers to let Tervantias excise part of her soul as a way of making it up to you If you tell her no she is both relieved and ashamed of feeling relieved She's nice to Jimmy too. She says something like >hey sorry your friend Achilleas turned out to be a traitor haha
>>566708276 >maybe if the scorpion didn't sting the frog it would have been fine Personally I kept Yrliet in my retinue on the basis that I already knew she was a treacherous xenos when I took her on board, so a bit of treachery doesn't really change our working relationship.
>>566708950 I kept her mainly because Jimmy and Argenta came swanning up to me on the bridge, demanding I get rid of her No. I've tolerated you cunts bossing me around long enough. I decided to let Yrliet live in Cumrag, so she stays, and the two of you get removed from your ship combat posts for insubordination.
>>566707825 >Oh she didn't know any better >Marzahai took advantage of her >She feels bad There's nothing more pathetic than fags defending her for pulling this shit. Its either simps or actual subhumans incapable of understanding how awful Commoragh is. It doesn't matter what her intent was, what matters is what happens. If you get drunk and run someone over it doesn't magically stop being a crime.
>>566709606 Yep >I changed my mind >Not about your kind >But about you were her exact words as I recall, right before she asks you to bind your soul to hers forever.
>>566709626 >If you get drunk and run someone over it doesn't magically stop being a crime. Yeah but if you're retarded and run someone over, it's a mitigating factor. Trust me, I know.
>>566709971 It's because Yrliet never sleeps with you ingame, so she subconsciously feels pure and worth defending. Even Cassia pollutes herself by letting your character fuck her before marriage.
>>566709815 A mitigating factor doesn't absolve you of guilt especially for something as bad as Cumrag. The fact you can bend over backwards for her and try your best to help her only to be led directly into an ambush is horrendous writing and makes the character irreedemable. All it would have taken was one line saying 'be careful, I think this may be a drukhari ambush' before we agreed to take on her request. Instead we get sent to murder-rape city without any warning whatsoever. The game falls apart in act 3 both in gameplay and overall story, I sure love playing a Rogue Trader game where I'm a lackey to Inquistion instead of going on cool space adventures.
>>566710193 >I sure love playing a Rogue Trader game where I'm a lackey to Inquistion instead of going on cool space adventures. Yeah this actually is the real problem. The character of Calcazar should not have been your boss. The Rogue Trader setting was designed for thrilling adventures, not Dark Heresy stuff. The planetary text encounters were more like the proper ttrpg stuff. You know, "your brave scouts uncover an alien city beneath a dome of crystal, ancient runes telling of a strange calamity" type thing. These should have been actually playable.
>>566710297 Its such a baffling decision. Both Theodora and Calcazar have actual Rogue Trader adventures whilst your stuck as a glorified janny. Which moron made the call to have Necrons, Drukhari and Chaos as plotpoints? Despite being 70 hours they fail to flesh out any of them. The most cool parts of Rogue Trader are fucking around and finding xenos ruins or the abandoned bunker where they went into a civil war. They somehow managed to regress from Kingmaker. >>566710397 Just because it happens doesn't mean you should base a game around it, its called Rogue Trader not Inquistion Janitor.
>Inquisitor Janitor >You are an unpaid janitor in the service of the Lord Inquisitor >Through a series of misunderstandings, you are thrust to the forefront of a complex conspiracy, which will lead you to explore strange new worlds with a retinue of unlikely alien allies
RT was never going to be an open world space exploration game for the same reason every other open world space exploration game has been fucking dogshit.
>>566710193 >I sure love playing a Rogue Trader game where I'm a lackey to Inquistion instead of going on cool space adventures. It became clear to me that they never wanted to make a Rogue Trader game. Dark Heresy has always been their goal. I wonder who insisted on making rt garbage instead: owlkeks or gw
I think most people get too hung up on convictions in RT. You're a Rogue Trader, who cares about the Imperium, Chaos or saving a bunch of ungrateful unwashed peasants.? You just make as much profit as you can and play with cool xeno toys because you have a permission slip from the Emperor that says you can. Unaligned RT is best RT.
>>566717529 She's the poster child of making an appealing romance yet almost two decades later nobody follows the simple template laid out by Bioware. When BG3 was in early access I remember people thinking Shart was the next Morrigan, and we all know how that turned out.
>>566717829 eh, I think if shart's writer didn't randomly insert his halsin lust into act 3, shart would have been pretty close. It seems writers often get close, and then just add something random. maybe they feel pressured to be "different" and that makes them sloppy? something like that
>>566718152 This never happened to me. I never understand what people mean when they're talking about this. Is it because Orin kidnapped him in my playthrough?
>>566718350 I hate this in medieval fantasy. Bras didn't exist before the 20th century. Women wore corsets or stays (the same thing except corsets fasten at the back, stays at the front) They look hotter and are more realistic
>>566718274 In this scene, when you ask her if she's interested in a threesome with Halsin, she doesn't say "no", she doesn't say "meh, if you insist", she doesn't say "sure, that sounds like a good idea you just came up with". She says "I've already been thinking about this for an extended period of time before you asked [sic]". It's weird that the author would specifically write it in such a way that your romance partner is actively daydreaming about having sex with another party member before you ask her about it, and she tells she's already been considering it. It's just a weird way to word it.
Additionally, in this second scene, she is one of the only people to be enthusiastic about it. Most romances outright say no, a couple let you do it, but Shart enthusiastically requires no convincing and even says to tell her all about it, and that she will "have her own fun" in the meantime. This is a very different tone than someone who is just saying ok, or is unsure. They wrote her to love the idea and enthusiastically encourage you.
So the author took two separate occasions to establish that Shart enthusiastically encourages group sex or open relationships, and has even been daydreaming about it before you asked. This contradicts a previous scene in the game, in act 2 where she says she's "not the third wheel type", so the character even directly contradicts herself on the topic. Which leads many to theorize that the author, who also wrote Halsin, just wanted his two dollies to kiss and forgot that he said she doesn't like that earlier in the game.
>>566718941 Don't forget the flirty banter she has with Halsin even if you never step foot in the brothel. She also has flirty banter with Wyll. Mind you this is after you confirm a relationship with her.
>gets an entire dlc dedicated to her >romanced wardens get a unique ending with her that carries on to a future game This was SOUL. Devs don't do this anymore.
>>566718454 I can't imagine Morrigan specifically wearing one, even if they existed in setting. She's a forest-dwelling witch. Her casual outerwear is some kind of narrow shawl with a waist cincher, with an open back and a neckline going down to the navel. She's wearing something under it that might be a micro bikini top, but might also just be some kind of jewelry. She certainly never wears a regular bra outside the sex scenes.
>>566720085 Because they barely have any content by virtue of being DLC. This was Owlcat's first DLC so it's pretty obvious they didn't really know how to mesh DLC characters with the main game very well. They do have the best romance ending though. Marrying twin sisters and making them your Queens was kino.
Sorry Morribros but Leliana is better. She also wins due to the sheer fact that she wasn't in Veilguard unlike Morrigan who they utterly ruined. She became a meat puppet for Solas's ex girlfriend and has a description saying "she has many lovers" or some shit. I feel bad for you guys and can't fault you for the devs who made veilguard utterly despising Origins but still it's not a good look for your waifu.
>>566721072 >and has a description saying "she has many lovers" or some shit Morrigan has always been a slut, the absolute meltdown that line caused was hilarious, you can tell that most people don't actually know their waifu
>>566655724 As i understand it the early game kinda rapes you on wotr, but im trying to play on Core and it is brutal. is it just a build problem? I wanna kill the water elemental too. I actually got the achievment for doing so but the killing blow was from Lann's bow right as everyone wiped and i havent been able to reproduce that attempt.
>>566721269 >Morrigan has always been a slut, the absolute meltdown holy larp. there was no "meltdown" because everyone was busy shitting on the rest of the game.
>>566722519 I never said she was a virgin nor am I retarded enough to think that because unlike you I actually played the game. Her and Leliana have fucked around plenty before they meet the Warden.
>>566721269 Morrigan had lovers before the Warden and you specifically have to romance her, have a child with her and pursue her through the whole witch hunt thing to alter her outlook. Veilguard pointedly throws all pre Inquisition dependency out the window and barely even considers Inquisition as it is. Veilguard Morrigan is unromanced Morrigan and very likely no ritual Morrigan. And so yes, left to her own devices unromanced Morrigan remains a slutty witch. Yes it technically renders the whole romance “non-canon” but that’s what happen when you abandon save transfer entirely. It’s hardly the only narrative decision Veilguard make that sucks IMO.
>>566726721 I give them what's left. I never use them except for their quests, so all the good stuff goes to me, when I grow out of my duds they get handled down to the bench warmers
>>566729234 THe armour is ok mostly. It's the wizard robes that are garbage. Where does it say that I can't wear pants if I'm a wizard? Thank god for the witcher mods
>>566729782 No clue. It's funny when her fans use that one heavily edited image of her as if that's what she looks like in game when in reality she literally looks like purple Tom Holland in a wig.
>>566714456 Well, it's seems far more complex than Princess Maker 2 and Volcano Princess. Also you apparently have a wife, which is a first. I wonder if she'll die eventually leaving you free to marry your daughter
>>566731593 Going to be interesting to see how/if they'll try to make the AdMech character in Dark Heresy different from Eogunn. From what we've gathered, that AdMech is supposed to be a biologis as well
>>566732642 Yes, have you? >nyyyyyooooooo rogue trader you can't kill this abominable intelligence that is very obviously a necron tech nyooooooo Eat shit, tincan, it's getting airlocked
>>566737483 You gotta stop being obsessed with this stuff man.
You do have sex. You live happily ever after ruling the city together. Minth, Frog, and Karl don't feature any cheating or infidelity, and Shart only fantasizes about sex with other men she doesn't actually do it unless you say it's ok. Don't take memes seriously.
>>566738643 yeah, you even get married and make a new house in Menzoberranzan if you choose that ending instead of the city ruling ending. You actually get a happy ending marriage with a hot drow. Larian caters to romance and you generally don't have any weird things (except for a couple, like Red Prince and Shart, but those are exceptions to the rule).
I'm always surprised when people are like "whaaaat?" about something in bg3. It's like the most normie and mainstream and popular crpg ever made. I would have assumed everyone here had played it long ago.
>>566739709 /crpgg/ is relatively too fast-moving to be derailed In one hour we'll be talking about Arwen's Ancestry Dark Heresy Dragon Age Cyberpunk Mass Effect Princess Maker Rogue Trader
>>566739968 Popular is bad, its too horny for tradlarpers, and it is more normified aka you can't make super autistic builds >>566740407 Wyll wouldn't fall for her harlot tricks
>>566739968 >bg3 is everything people ask for It seems to be at first, but it falls apart on closer inspection. The game is riddled with skills, spells, items, etc. that don't even work.
>>566740407 >What if Wyll and Camellia met? Would they hit it off? No? Wyll is a knight errant type of guy who'd kill camellia on the spot. Why would they "hit it off" ever?
>>566741020 Because it won't work lol >Play it completely straight (NA with Navajo or whatever culture) Race fetishism >Some character (white) is doing it Cultural appropriation >Street fighter tier representation Disrespectful Just get a brownskinned druid that's into eagles and shit and be done with it.
Wanna mess around with necromancy in CRPGs again but I already beat wrath with lich and it was boring dogshit, remind me please can demon tell DEMON NIGGERS to fuck off? The last time I played demon I integrated into their society and it felt very wrong to do it, didn't like it...
>>566741794 They're both nobility, they're both charismatic and well read, they both prefer a rapier, they've both had to make sacrifices (literally or figuratively), they both spend a lot of time fighting hellspawn. There's something to work with there, obviously. It's easy to imagine the two dancing in a ballroom at Wyrm's Rock, or Camellia showing him the gardens.
>>566742524 Wyll is a semi-estranged noble who entered a demonic pact to save innocents and camellia is a bastard murderer with a rich dad who covers it up.
>always hear Owlbabs praise Owlcat's writing >the writing in question: >You... you... dare to give me an order? On your crusade, I saw nothing but rules and regulations. You know what, screw you! Die, you son of a bitch!
>>566742710 New to you? Pocahontas has a bad reputation because they made your typical Disney romance cartoon based on real history instead of a fairytale. Notice how Pocahontas didn't get a shitty live action movie.
>>566742752 >who entered a demonic pact More like he got bamboozled by a low level Cambion. Any Warlock worth their salt would bully him for the absolute shit deal he agreed to.
>>566743084 >Notice how Pocahontas didn't get a shitty live action movie. To be fair it's a fucking boring movie. I still want to see a LA version of SAVAGES though, that'd be funny.
>>566744123 Black Dragon's Fang is pretty good since you can get it as soon as Act 2 starts. Radiance is good and gets upgraded as you go through the game eventually becoming a +6 weapon. There's a sword Iomeadae gives you in the final dungeon if you're a good boy but that's literally the end of the game so no point in bringing it up. I don't have Midnight Isles dlc but apparenlty there's a pretty solid longsword in there.
I honestly have no issue forgiving Yrilet. I don't even like any of my other companions except Abelard and Pasqual, both of whom I don't take to Cumrag anyway.
>>566739968 Oh it's pretty popular around here, for the same reason it's popular among normies too: it's a damn good game. Simple as. People love to focus on X or Y flaw since the game isn't literally perfect obviously but generally speaking it is one of the best crpg and even one of the best games in general in a long time. The silent majority played it and loved it.
I haven't played in a bit since I've been focusing on solasta2, swtor, disciples domination, the new HOMM, the expanse, and a handful of other games, but I'll get the itch for it again soon enough, maybe when a cool quest or location mod comes out.
>>566746831 Like what? I buy and play every single crpg that comes out. I usually kickstart/preorder them as well, so the developer is encouraged during the development process. Why wouldn't I do this? I love crpg.
Convince me to actually unironically replay kingmaker when I know it's resting simulator because every map has 300000000000 kobolds lying around and you end up with the KDA of a few holocausts by the end of it (all trash mobs to waste your time)
But seriously Yrlietfags are retarded. Who the fuck would want to be with that thing. She would rather fuck a literal Drukek than even touch you the best human that did everything for her.
Does anyone know if Mighty Advisor was ever fixed in Wrath? Doubling Insight bonuses is crazy good but when I tried it on Greybor way back when but it didn't do anything at the time.
>>566752041 I like to think Marazhai and Yrliet becoming corsairs together is just a very messed up way of co-dependency >Yrliet's corsair path is also called damnation I don't feel like corsair yrliet is that bad
>>566752283 been around the block 5 times from here to cumrag it makes me wonder if all deldar are actually asymptomatic carriers of a bunch of weird std >and my RT fucked one, Abelard get a medic, I need blood work!
>>566752683 I don't think anyone who lands into anything, friendship or romance with a deldar will have a healthy bond, whether that's the RT with Archon Marazhai or, Corsair / Harlequin Yrliet and Marazhai.
>>566719784 I'm gonna say it, I've come to appreciate Val. She's a solid if linear frontliner, her charisma score makes her strangely good at debuffing with Oppressor and dazzling display. If I'm too lazy to disarm traps she can walk through them with ease. As a character she's whiny in her own quests but lawful retarded in a funny way in others Oh you mean as a romance? Oh...
>>566755437 isn't part of harlequin recruitment, like, theater classes and a nice dose of fanatical brainwashing so you too become a frantic follower of kek-corach >we have improv at 8, followed by 'A course of slapstick' and two hours of praying to the laughing god, your meals will consist of cream pie which you'll have to catch with your face and bananas, you'll have to drop the peel on the floor and slip on it, welcome to your first year of harlequin school
>>566756006 Brainwashing to the point their personalities are wiped yeah. Good ending for you and your protectorate but not a great one for either of them since they functionally stop being who they were. The Harlequins are a bit like the boogeyman for many sub-types of Eldar.
>>566756393 I wonder: where the harlequins there before the fall of aelderi? were they just some sort of weird cult until it really went down and they were like >haha, fuck you guys, our god hides in the tunnels of the webway and actually lives while all the others are dead
>>566757613 Maybe one day autists will figure out that people who like asshole characters like them because they're assholes and it's not insulting to them to point out that they're assholes
>>566757613 Au contraire my dear fellow retard. Dark villains especially are popular and they get tamed in the end, it's just Beauty and the Beast 40k version. The self-insert Femcel Princess, through the power of pussy, makes the Deldar admit to true love. If that doesn't happen they'll get him tamed in fanfiction. You have to understand "slightly or frankly dangerous and callous man who hates others but has a soft spot for (you)" is the ultimate female power fantasy, not going swish swoosh with a sword.
purely from a character perspective, would a paladin of iomedae give lann a blowjob and would that break the oath? not as a full romantic thing, but as a kind of reward and because he only has like five years left to live anyways and all he's ever had is wenduag, a disgusting spider leg monster
>>566761379 This, it's literally the same reason why girls like Viconia and Morrigan are popular. People like bad girls/guys especially if they can tame them.
>>566761954 Iomedae herself would descend to the earth and give Lann a divine suckjob after seeing him shoot a full-round action's worth of arrows up a demon lord's asshole.
>>566761592 Indeed. His sub route is frankly more popular than the other one, which tells you something else about the strange breed that are Femcels. Most women want to be top-dog through their guy, who then submits to them - he is still a menace to others, but she is in control. Whatever they need to sacrifice to obtain this doesn't matter. They will literally spend the first half of the game picking icono decisions and do good around them, and then Marzipan shows up, and their good deeds go out of the window for the hot vampire romance.
>>566761954 Iomedae guides her followers towards temperance, but she also teaches that you must never abandon a companion in need. That dick isn't gonna suck itself, and it's best that the paladin take on the duty, since she gains immunity to STDs at level 3.
>>566764810 It's the ACTUAL power fantasy path. Unlike the Lichcuck path where you're a bitch the entire time and your crowing moment is ruined because Zacharaius takes your phylactery hostage. Then you have to either cripple your character with permanent debuffs or get on the ground and beg.
Meanwhile Demon gets to rape Vellexia as revenge for her trying to mess with you and their big moment is beating up Nocticula and taking her throne.
What CRPGs have a fun summoning class? The closest I can think of is Divinity OS 2, the Champion Incarnates you can eventually summon can do some nasty damage and have cool abilities. In other games summons just feel weak.
>>566766069 >Then you have to either cripple your character with permanent debuffs that was so fucking dumb man. I ended up having to kneel because I was doing an Eldrich Knight Lich and that would have absolutely ruined my build but it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I deleted the save. correct me if I'm wrong but no other mythic path has you gimp yourself like that.
>>566766717 lame believe it or not some of us like agency in our young adult literature, for instance Harry Potter was able to seethe his way through Order of the Phoenix at the political establishment interfering in his school, at how his mentor sold him out to the teacher that despised him for no raisins, at the fact he couldn't talk to his godfather, at a bunch of fucking yokels not believing him when he spoke out against the official narrative, and even at his best friends for being given the job of prefects. Quite literally and unironically, the cornerstone of male existance is Seething Hatred. Not cheap and unearned romance. Owlcat is quite literally not giving us ENOUGH things to seethe about in order to truly capture the True Favstian Male Maindset.
>>566766095 >perverted woman who violently refuses to let go >serial killer of a completely different orientation these are the same in the mind of a woman? concerning
>>566768428 it's a video game bro the player is going to pick the chick he specifically finds physically attractive 99.999% of the time, regardless of personality yes that applies to both wenduag and camellia
>>566769094 I looked all of those up when I saved the screenshot, but I've forgotten most. There's a lot of different fabric types in there, I'd bet taffeta is one of those.
>>566768043 yes, because he left her how is that comparable to cannibalism, attempted lobotomies, necrophilia and noncery? are you an owlcat fan perhaps?
>Been on four Necron planets >Been on an entire smuggling den that was overrun by necrons >Game still treats my character like he has no idea what Necrons are RT is fucking ASS, bro
>>566769354 owlcat doesnt know how to make good games, they just make them really long and verbose so autists think they're good. what kojima did with storytelling owlcat has done with crpgs as a genre.
>>566720110 There's a mechanic where if a body part gets hit it becomes more likely to be hit again. The goal is presumably so you don't have damage spread out completely evenly.
I like how WOTR companions have favorite foods, so I can try to make them stuff they like to eat when we camp out together. I try to cook my companions foods they'll like in Baldur's Gate 3 too, but it's undefined there so you mostly have to guess at it.
>>566769913 Seriously. It has a stacking effect, so the first hit doesn't change the odds very much but when you get hit three times in a row it's a lot more likely to keep getting smacked. The stacks fade with time outside of combat IIRC.
>>566768659 >tfw I gauss, then degauss the piezoelectric thermistors in my yakuza howitzer when I pump milliamps into its boson servo to the checksum azimuth parsec when targeting the aileron for total bushido strafing run of neodymium katanas for complete shemale teraflopcation
>>566770374 Don't worry about it. >>566768659 Some of them have to be lying. Piezoelectricity and aileron sound like complete nonsense. Yakuza also being just .32 with women is a bit sus. .88 on shemale is hilarious though and it's also the most recognized word?
>>566770374 Because they wrote a Marvel movie and had to shove in necrons and drukhari and the inquisition so they had no time for Orks despite them canonically being there
>>566770862 No, fuck her. She jeopardized the entire crusade for her own vainglory. I'm playing a lala prissy Azata and I'm sure he'd commission a statue of her being raped to remind everyone that Galfrey should be hated.
>>566771027 >Her only flaw trying to murder you out of jealousy, and then squandering your army after you turned her hundred year war around in less than one
I don't care. She is my queen, and I am her knight commander. Yes my queen. Yes. At your service. For the queen. Yes my queen. As you wish. Your command? At once, my queen. In your name. Your Majesty? What ho? For the queen.
>>566770560 >Piezoelectricity and aileron sound like complete nonsense You mean you don't know what they mean, or that you don't believe that 51% and 55% of men and 18% and 22% of women respectively recognize them?
>>566771027 >Her only flaw pales in comparison to what you have to accept to like someone like Cam or Wendog I'd rather have my wife cuck me than try to kill me.
>>566769667 Kiss Galrfrey, because she is my wife.
Kill Cam, because she is a threat to my soldiers, who are in my care and I will not betray them.
Friendzone Arue, because I actually do like her and wouldn't mind being her friend and answering all her questions about humans.
Finally, marry Galfrey, as she is also the only person I would kiss since I'm married to her, so this question doesn't make sense. They're implying that you would kiss someone other than your wife, which I find odd.
Cassia could have killed me many times, but it was at the very moment when she tried to break up with me to save us both the emotional angst of watching our romance wither because of her mutations... that was when she was killing me at that very moment.
>>566771819 >They're implying that you would kiss someone other than your wife, which I find odd. At what age were you diagnosed as being on the spectrum?
>>566771943 Because Owlcat has no idea how aeon actually works >muh cosmic order >but Galfrey doesn't break cosmic order >even if she did, using that same logic, Anevia breaks it too and you can't detroon her >supposedly also cares about the local laws >let's the walking Mendevian warcrime that is Regill scott-free because he's lawful and aeon is the lawful neutral path
>>566771775 Pietzoelectricity is the property of some materials to generate electricity when subjected to pressure, and to change shape when subjected to electricity. I learned it from reading Gateway by Frederik Pohl as a kid. Aileron is the flappy bit on an airplane wing. I don't remember where I saw it first, but it would have shown up in Kerbal Space Program at least.
>>566772735 No, Aeon specifically accuses her of trying to lead the crusade of all eternity, as in, being incompetent on purpose, which just isn't true. ESPECIALLY since Galfrey herself isn't even the one that decides to drink the potions that extend her lifespan, those are orders from her own goddes and her church
>>566773117 I couldn't care less about how much you like him, the very first thing he does is kill a bunch of crusader soldiers (and no, they weren't working for him yet, their leader was still alive), he openly talks about how the Hellknights don't give a fuck about local laws, and he even kidnaps and forces you to put up with a Hellknight trial (if you fail, they try to kill you, and if you say no, they also try to kill you) One of the main things about aeon is that you have to enforce Mendevian rules and Regill is constantly breaking them, he couldn't care less
>>566773149 NTA but they're different control surfaces. Ailerons are far from the center of the mass, they control roll (tipping the plane left or right). Flaps are near the fuselage (the body of the plane). They increase the overall lift generated, so you can fly the plane slower without falling out of the sky. They also make the plane slower though, so they're used only on takeoff and landing typically.
>>566770862 I wish really hoping her Devil romance would be something like co-ruling the kingdom or something since she's joined at the hip via contract but she just thots out once and promises she'll try her best to "become your equal" before you do anything again.
>>566772452 >Anevia breaks it too and you can't detroon her Him. You can't detroon him. And there really should be a mod to fix it and maybe even change the portrait to be a little less lantern jawed.
>>566773937 >urrrrmmmmm the paragraph would've been much better if, instead of repetition as a literary device, they had said "conflagaration" or "inferno!" The bigger the word the better >>566774062 I know you've never experienced passion anon, but someday you'll get there
She doesn't "just" send you to the Abyss because she's jealous. In my current playthrough, she wasn't too happy about sending me there. You guys forgot the whole plot about Nahyndrian crystals.
>>566774572 She still sent you there and went out of her way to block the exist, she was hoping you wouldn't come back >but she regrets it What's done is done, it's a betrayal
>>566774572 No she disbands your army and gets rid of all of your generals, army and funds because she is jealous. The abyss stuff is just the extra fuck you.
>>566773669 It's fine up until >The name of the riotous blaze is Jae Heydari "Riotous" especially sounds like the wrong word, too jolly and clashes with the tone
>>566775539 >Galfrey gives you the excuse of having an actual justificaction for going to the abyss and never acvtually admitting outright that she wanted you dead >Yrliet has the excuse of being retarded and tricker by Maraztard, complete with him saying that he manipulated her just in case Tristian betrays you 100% there is no way to cope here ironically enough he actually regrets it the most and works to make up for it
>>566775539 Tristian would get this treatment if I played the game more than once. But the game had already convinced me to only have mercs in my party by that point, because I could build mercs any way I wanted and was having more fun building mercs than keeping a stupid scimitar cleric around.
>>566775881 >>Yrliet has the excuse of being retarded and tricker by Maraztard This is not an excuse at all. If Rapey McEnslaver gves you coordinates to go somewhere and you tell your "friends" to go follow it without saying where's it from, then that's just malicious. It would have been somewhat excusable if she didn't know but it was from him. Why even follow that lead?
>>566776540 >You'd only know those excuses if you kept her alive to hear them Only the first time I played, then I gave her to Heinrix once we escape from Cumrag. Not to mention that Yrlietfags repeat it here all the time so I would still know anyway retard
>>566761379 I think you're moving the goalpost from "healthy bond" to getting a bad person to emotionally fall for you. The latter does not equal a healthy relationship, especially for a character like Marazhai, and his fans enjoy the toxicity. As do most evil romance enjoyers because that's the point.
Sometimes, choices don't have to be complicated. Sometimes you just want to murder surrendered enemies because that makes you stronger in the dark side of the force.
>>566777836 >spends the entire game seeming really shifty and unreliable >plot twist is that she's wholesome and a loyal servant of the emperor Unfortunately Owlcat are gay so it won't happen.
>>566778572 Wyll's character concept is fine but he's ruined by having the blandest most boring dialogue in the game paired with a fairly weak VA performance.
>>566778801 >weak VA performance. this his VA is by far the worst one in the main cast >>566779032 Gale isn't psycho or evil and he's liked for the most part
