Actually, according to my inside sources
The reason the Marathon population dropped so much on Steam is that everyone moved from PC to PS5
That's why retention remains high, this is what the chuds don't actually get
The split is more like 99.999999999% PS5, and the rest is Steam
The team is jamming
Everyone currently working on Destiny 2 is being moved to Marathon
And Bungie is hiring 1000 new employees for Marathon
We are jamming
The future is looking bright for us Marathonbros

Bungie's current era writing killed all interest in destiny. Making it a point of advertisement that the atudio is retconning everything gay and fixing the universe, will garner more interest than anything else they could do. Destiny's(1) launch was the biggest new ip launch of all times, bigger than Avatar's opening. The people that like bungie's new writing and the new gay destiny universe, are all that left playing now. Bungie could tell the fags to fuck off just like they once told the chuds, and go back to being a company with 1mil ccu on their flagship game.

People wouldn’t care about the gay retcon or the traumadumping arcs if it didn’t come at the expense of so much more interesting stories that could actually be told. Like more fun adventures with the Drifter, why not go back and explore that one “choice” during his season in Forsaken that went literally nowhere? Or if they actually made it to where we finally visit Old Chicago. It’s been years since we knew it was cut from D1, it’s been teased and constantly dangling over the community’s head as a place that actually exists in universe, and it’s only now in the EoF era of the game that we seem finally close to accessing it. And that’s still assuming that we’re even getting those two other expansions at this rate and they didn’t pull the plug to focus on Marathon.

>eh, rising proved that the core playlist activities can be improved on. Gambit is objectively better in rising
Maybe they could make a Destiny game that is a compilation of the best content from Destiny and Destiny 2 like Strikes, Crucible, Dungeons, Raids, Exotic Missions while the tower acts as a central hub for these playlists.
Destinations and Patrol Zones? Removed.
Story? Removed.
Because if the game was just legacy content then why would you even bother implementing Patrol Zones or Witch Queen and House of Wolves? And this doesn't even consider how vastly different D1 and D2 are, the gear in D2 is fucking clown shit for the most part, and this is one of those things that I've always believed D1 did better.
And a lot of weapons and armour from D1 looked and felt similar to one another which I think was neccessary for making unique drops stand out like event horizon or atheon's epilogue. The problem with D2? It's too essentric, legitimately some legendaries look more exotic than actual exotics in that game.
Ultimately I would prefer just being able to play D1 again.

Normies care about the gay retcons and trauma dump arcs. The gaming public has shown with their wallets that they prefer games that offer escape from real world dramas, and games that respect the players commitment to learn about the game. If every time you learned something new about the destiny universe, whether through grimoire, campaign events, or any other in game source, then you go to talk to a friend about it a year later, and the ingame information you learned was directly retconned by more recent in game material, you'd stop caring about the universe of destiny. Why bother inveating in it at all, if the developers rewrite the whole thing every other month on a whim, and completely ignore their own in-universe rules.

Oh you mean the fact that for no decernable reason he decided to be an obnoxious faggot over Twilight Garrison only for Bungie to implement a similar dodge ability onto Striker like a season later? Yeah that was autistic, and its weird how this dude reacted that way instead of being a normal person.
>>
>>
>>
>>566706765
>and its weird how this dude reacted that way instead of being a normal person
Seriously. The guy could've just went and said something like "Yeah we've thought about adding it back but it wouldnt exactly be like twilight garrison. We'll see what happens in the future but no promises."

>In the beginning, your world was a garden too. The whole floor of the world-sea was a mat of bacteria, and the very first animals, adorable blobs of ooze, grazed upon that mat in endless idyll. They had no concept of the existence of other beings. Why would they? Their most complex function was a kind of gentle spasm, to scoot forward while they grazed. And if they bumped into each other on that warm seabed, all they did was ooze onward, untroubled. There was nothing to their life except the uptake of carbon compounds from the bacterial bed.
>And then—one day—the fall occurred. So much earlier and so much more necessary than your myths remember. Some poor mutant discovered that it could collect carbon compounds much faster if it stopped grazing on the bacterial mat and started dissecting and eating the lumps of predigested carbon all around it: its neighbor oozeballs.
>It couldn't help but do it. It couldn't help but thrive. We don't get a choice about the rules. We just play the game.
>It was the first defector—the first predator. It changed everything. Now the oozeballs needed sensors to watch for danger, and brains to integrate those senses and generate plans of survival, and swift neurons and muscles to enact that plan. This was the Cambrian Explosion, the great birth of complex life on your world. I caused it. I, the defector, the destroyer, the one who takes.
They had found such a good villain in the Winnower, a BBEG that is such a fundamental part of reality you can't even imagine a world without it, to be fought in an eternal philosophical struggle. Perfect for a GaaS.
But no, we need Mega(Cum)mind so we can say we beat the big bad and give players a story off-ramp. Just in time for the rape of Marathon.
RAPE BUNGIE
>>
>>
>>566709795
The winnower isn't even a villain, just an antagonist to the forces of the gardener. The guardians of earth being the best killers in the universe is a paradox to the winnower, who believes consuming, not creating, energy is the natural order.
/spoiler/the winnower isn't wrong. The traveler and the light break the laws of the universe/spoiler/

I still don't get the "muh it's a good game!!1!1!" rants.
It's not, it's shit, uses the same ass shooting mechanics from D1 that have grown beyond stale by now and it fails at even being a fucking extraction shooter, it's a glorified battle royale. Someone didn't see during years of development that they were making Trials of Osiris but with Battle Royale and thought everything would be fine.

You know it's bad bad when people are nostalgic over things they considered objectively mediocre or even terrible at the time of its release. Things really do just get shittier don't they?
>>
>>566731258
I think Destiny 2 at release still had at least some of the soul of Destiny even if it was just a fraction. But current Destiny 2 or even post Shadowkeep doesn't evoke any such feelings anymore not in the music or worlds. Its funny how they use leitmotifs in the music tracks and it grew tiresome hearing the same guardian theme every damage phase on every boss.
>>

>>566727907
Bottom Solar Lock gutted was absolute bullshit especially with that one particular loop with old Dawn Chorus when it basically let you loop an ignition chain off grenades and melee, the classic GM Hallowed Lair wave rounds on Fikrul were a prime example when you could wipe things with a solar grenade and punch. Yanes is just very stereotypical powerdrunk dickhead nerd gone rogue and vindictive. There's always tons of these guys in game dev and it's also on management for not tard wrangling these people.
>>
I guess Datto won in the end becoming a Korean woman, he knew Marathon was going to be a bit of a train wreck and didn't even begin to bother to deal with it. I also love how there's this crisis with the people who require streamers to tell them what to do where people think there needs to be build and guide videos for Marathon but with RNG being a constant, it's a little tough to say more than, get these upgrades they're mandatory and if you find x,y,z mod, use them, the end. It seriously feels like I've taken crazy pills how these coping idiots were thinking this would be some phenomena game because "they got voice actors who've been in things!" and there's less cut scenes than Destiny
>>
>>566731621
The thing about Y1 D2 was that we were still craving more and had to wait a year after rise of iron. D1 was considered pretty good and unique by the end of its lifespan, bungie still had the reputation to get away with murder so everyone patiently waited for them to pull another TTK during y1 and we got that with Forsaken. Yeah the double primary thing was hot garbage and the red war sucked ass but it was still destiny and the first major expansion made the wait feel worth it, and yeah like you said the game still had some of that D1 soul. It's sad to see how something that was so fundamentally solid was so close to standing the test of time but couldn't because of nothing other than retardation and genuine hatred for the original target audience
>>
>>
>>566732489
Yeah its genuinely baffling how bad they bottled it. This might be a huge hot take but I'd take double primary sandbox over the current sandbox we have now. Ideally though would have the D2Y1 ability sandbox and the weapon system of D1.
>>
>>
>>566732094
The "proto-ignitions before ignitions were a thing" built into old bottom tree was my favorite part of it, it made Winter's Guile usable in the sandbox back then to chunk bosses and let Warlock have a melee build that wasn't "press one button to clear the entire room" like the Arc slide is now
Call me nostalgic or whatever but I genuinely prefer the old subclass system, "having restrictions and variety in choices made" is better than "having all the options all the time, but they're all kinda shit"
>Yanes is just very stereotypical powerdrunk dickhead nerd
I still remember the Forsaken showoff stream where he couldn't land hits with Luna's Howl on barely moving enemies while using a controller. It really characterizes everything he did in sandbox design as "revenge against people who hurt his ego by beating him" more than anything else.

It’s a lot of that nerd ego. Luke had it when he tried to make “watchable content” and give this inflated sense of things all because he was hung up on glory days of WoW even though anybody who was there knew AQ scepter title was more round the clock strength in numbers than the individual’s ability. Also there was some huge differences depending on the server and were you on the more populated faction etc. Tyson had it because he loved Diablo so much but failed to realize the biggest pitfall that killed D4 where nobody wants some pseudo basement to the end game padding out the last 10s of levels to finish out to end cap. Also loot drops were way to stingy to fully implement as frequent wiping and locking the whole new gear bonuses. The fact how Bungie never said shit about where Raid or Dungeon would fit in the new gear conversation is also troubling. Imagine Epic Desert only having its shit around for 2 months

What is even more idiotic, AE failed to work as they advertised, aka 'you will shoot exactly where you aim' (insert that infamous clip where a streamer uses most available buffs to AE and misses while firing a perfectly lined sniper shot into a stationary target).
>>
File: 1649112559920.jpg (179.6 KB)
>>566755731
>failed to work as they advertised
But it did work as intended (to make everyone quit playing in the air).
And on top of that, if you did literally everything possible to "build into it," it WOULD work as before, meaning they didn't technically lie in the advertisement, because they said you'd have to put "heavy investment" into AE to do that. They never give explicit terms on promises so they can hide behind them when it comes out they're using the worst interpretation of their own words.
Bungie is second to none in fake promises, half-truths and weaseling around explicit statements in the games industryexcept maybe Chris Roberts with the constant mental gymnastics to always change what they originally promised, but this isn't a thread for Star Citizen so I won't mention it more
>>
>>
>>566755731
Airborne effectiveness was one of those changes that made the game generally better for 90% of players, but the streamers and the sweatiest players cried like children for months to make sure the game was just that little bit worse, which in turn kept people out of the Crucible. I swear every major issue this game has leads back to Bungie trying to keep twitch happy. Bungie has always been more concerned with the narrative over the reality when it comes to game balance.
>>
>>
>>566732094
Ugh, don't remind me of classic Bungo retardation.
>we spam a fuckton of adds at your each wave
>but no, these ones in the Hollowed Lair won't count for bounties or catalysts
>it would be too easy to rack up kills there, he he
>>
>>
>>566757056
>every major issue this game has leads back to Bungie trying to keep twitch happy
Because it's a business shortcut. Instead of spending a $100,000 to attract 10,000, players, save $90,000! Spend only $10,000 to attract 10 streamers, and those streamers will order their 1000 lemmings each to play your game! It's foolproof!
>>
>>566757056
For me personally it was an obnoxious turd that made me miss hand cannon shots at retardedly close distances in PvE because I dared to jump and shoot at the same time after years of this causing absolutely no issues with accuracy.
>>
>>566757737
Not even jumping
The game engine thinks you're in air if you walk on any ground that isn't flat.
Consider how much of every Crucible map isn't perfectly flat terrain. Little pebbles, stairs, ramps, any of it.
AE was the most shortsighted decision Bungie made in terms of the shooting part of the gameplay itself
>>
>>566757737
Yeah Bungie did it to nerf you. That was the point. You would have still won 90% of your fights, but the people you killed would actually see you, maybe if you were not literally invisible at the time. This is how stuff works in Marathon now and Bungie is playing stupid about why they're bleeding players like it's a race to the bottom.
>>
>>566758416
>in PvE
I'm sure those dregs are happy now that I have to stand on solid ground while shooting them. I couldn't care less about the red minigame or its mold or piss colored strains. Also wasn't the Adept Icarus Grip mod part of the problem because I remember seeing it on every sweatlord's Trails hand cannon?
>>
>>
>>566758731
I've never had issues hitting shots in PVE maybe it was a sniper thing. I don't use snipers because they are terrible in PVE. As far as Trials I have no idea you'd never catch me playing Trials. Spending all afternoon getting farmed so other people can get rewarded? Stupid game mode. I have no idea why D2 players are so attached to it.
>>
>>
>>566758731
>wasn't the Adept Icarus Grip mod part of the problem
It was double the strength of regular Icarus Grip, so that's why they used it. Don't blame the players for Bungie making a bandaid fix to a problem they created.
If you used any weapon, if you wanted to still hit shots while walking on stairs you had to use it. Regular Icarus Grip wasn't enough for most weapons, because the overwhelming majority of weapons that are good in PvP had absurdly low AE, which was by design to force people to sit on the ground (unless they played Dawnblade with Heat Rises, thanks Kevin)

Cross got me to dust off my PS4 and play D1. I had a copy of the full edition or whatever on disc. It's a better game. Hands down.
>guns actually fucking matter
>precision multiplier is relevant and means you need to be precise to fucking kill things, but the damage is high so again, your guns matter
>not nearly as much heavy and special ammo spam, but encounters are designed for that
>enemies are better designed than just waves of bullshit, the comp seems actually adjusted and balanced, and they're also a threat
>strikes are challenging when you first get access to them
>bosses don't just melt in .2 seconds and require immunity phases; the fallen walkers are an actual fight as are the Goliath tanks
>the upgrade system of playing with your shit to upgrade it is actually good
>the loot curve actually fucking exists and legendaries feel like amazing upgrades when you get them
>factions and rep matter
It's actually insane how the same people that polished this thing and set up Age of Triumph proceeded to apparently lobotomize themselves and then shit out D2 vanilla. How the fuck did we stray so far from gods light?

>>566765879
this wouldn't have been a problem if crafting was rare and special
but they just shat out craftable weapons so each season you had like 7 new craftable weapons
and it also took dozens of activity completions to get red borders and then extract them(i cant remember did you have to level up a weapon before being able to extract the pattern? they changed this mechanic so many times) so by the time you have got the ability to craft a weapon you have already done idk 50 activity completions and then had to do a dozen more
repeat 7 times
this took most people most of if not all season to do, so people were just on an endless craftable weapon grind which made the game and loot in general feel dogshit

They had retarded systems, like, to collect a red border you needed to find a weapon with a red border and level it up first by killing or completing activities, they had multiple resources that were assigned to perk groups and that you needed to craft. It was just one big trouble, and that was after they scraped their initial brilliant idea to have a unique crafting resource FOR EVERY SINGLE PERK IN EXISTENCE.

I still wonder how much of Europa was designed for D1 and was then repurposed to D2. I still liked the Throne World in WQ, but Europa feels like it’s part of a different game when compared to Neomunda, The Pale Heart or Kepler.
>>566777608
Frankly it wouldn’t be a shock. Bungie let down Sony time and time again, and their parent company just had to explain to their investors that even though Bungie is now worth 700 million dollars less than when they bought it, they still believe in them and by extension Marathon. They had to say that publicly of course, but behind closed doors Sony has to be fucking furious with how embarassed they feel consistently having to protect their worst investment.
It would be also explain why Cross suddenly threw out phrases like
>We may just get one Renegades sized expansion per year
>We aren’t getting a D3.
His contacts were blunt and the “vibes” throughout the studio is absolutely the worst they’ve ever been in history.

Man, I'm still tripping over Paul Tassi calling it "selfish" to want something he'd like to buy to come out of Bungie. That's not selfish; that's called being a customer. Nobody owes Bungie their support, especially if they're not making anything you want to buy.
>>
>>566782683
That’s just how deep the psychological hold Bungie has over their fans. You want Bungie to do absolutely more than the bare minimum like other smaller devs can? You expected Marathon to have a casual thrown together Arena mode for fun or for priority contracts to load you into solo instances to learn how to play the game? That just means you’re a fucking entitled CHUD that has no idea what it’s like to work on games!

Marathon did itself no favors by being extremely light on content. It’d be one thing if it at least had a standard team deathmatch playlist to pass the time for those that got burned out on the extraction game mode, but it didn’t even have that.

It could also be because there were some Destiny players that bought Marathon not because they were really sold on the game, but just because they figured they had to bail out Bungie yet another time so there wouldn’t be mass layoffs impacting new Destiny content. And after those Destiny fans truly gave it a chance, they dropped the game when they realized it was so lacking in content as a stand-alone release, let alone as a potential expansion. It would probably have just worked as Forsaken or Shadowkeep’s equivalent of The Divison’s Dark Zone tops, and that’s being generous.

Nah, the marathon thread was nothing but the same reddit shill copypastas, and everyone else shiting on the game. Its hard for him not to be, his Bungie contacts probably confirmed to him that D3 is not only not happening, but we're only getting one Renegades-sized expansion per year with the rest of the year being full of event battle passes for content. All of that while they're putting all their effort into Marathon, and the most they're getting is a variant of an existing map, one new runner and a few guns.

Even in concept art Lightfall Calus was shit. We didn't need a slightly bigger Colossus/Gladiator guy with gold shoulders, he should've been an unrecognizable flesh mass integrated with the Leviathan. It would make far more sense for egregore and Pyramid magic to infect the Leviathan and turn it into a cool new location rather than making up that new gay "Typhon Imperator". If you bring a "gamer" laptop with rgb and shit, the few people who sit and "people watch" will think you're a dork, but no one will care that much; most won't even notice you're out of the ordinary, and others will have the same type of computer you do so they obviously can't judge you.
Most everyone is in their own little bubble that contains only them and their belongings and don't care about anything outside of it
Stop worrying about what people think of you, anon, nobody cares, it's all in your head.

A 16" laptop isn't exactly huge, 2 inches of desk space isn't a noticeable thing to most people; they won't realize it's even any bigger unless you hold them next to each other.
As long as it doesn't sound like an RC drone picking up when you turn it on, no one will give a fuck, and in the case it is you'll get clowned for all of an afternoon until the next thing happens.
College kids are all awkward dweebs who care way too much about how they're perceived to the point that they don't notice how others are. Everyone else in that room is doing the exact same thing you are, worrywarting over literally every detail of how they look or carry themselves instead of looking at how others are. They're too busy managing themselves to care about your laptop being bigger than theirs.

It just crazy to think that ever since Lightfall the game had been suffering due to Marathon leeching resources off of it, you could tell immediately that they couldn't handle both games when we stopped receiving new weapon models, and Neomuna looked like mostly recycled BrayTech assets, and then Final Shape had to be delayed because they realized half assing everything wasn't gonna work, which in turn most likely caused another internal Marathon delay. Shit's been falling apart for years and it's retarded how they didn't just drop Marathon despite its lethargic development and the cannibalization of their main source of income.
>>
>>
>>
>>566874013
The worst part is that it wasn't just Marathon stealing resources from Destiny, it was also Destiny: Payback. Which wasn't even D3, it was a third person spinoff that was inspired by Warframe and Genshin. So even with Luke Smith or Chris Barrett at the helm, Bungie was fucked no matter what.

I'll be honest Warframe isn't a suitable "replacement" game for Destiny. If you don't already enjoy Warframe you likely won't enjoy it right now. First obviously is the game is third person while Destiny is first person which can be a make or break for quite a few people, and Warframe still has a lot of ass backwards shit like Destiny with inventory limits and forge timers which can be solved with premium currency that you can trade for but most new players aren't going to look through multiple wiki pages or youtube tutorials to know how or what to trade.
Warframe also has a lot of content islands and doesn't really have one singular cohesive game. Its just whatever DE feels like doing at the time and Bungie for comparison was about to do the same shit with Edge of Fate and Renegades but at least they are too retarded to go full on just adding some whole roguelike DLC or some shit. I would probably play more Warframe once they get rid of having to buy inventory slots and remove forge timers. But yeah people who play Destiny think Warframe is the promised land is huffing a lot of copium. The one massive benefit Warframe has is that they aren't theiving niggers like Bungie with the DCV.
>>
>>566880805
When you think about it seasonal stories were content islands on their own. There's nothing wrong with content islands if you keep revisiting them later on, which admittedly DE is currently struggling with on Warframe.

It probably would have been a better game. Quite frankly they would have had better funding, longer pre-development and development phases, and Martin O'Donnell and Joseph Staten along with other prominent Bungie figures would have never left, because ultimately there probably would have never been a power struggle between old Bungie and the freshly hired Activision puppets who were just there to be covert agents and eventually seize control of Bungie from within.
I gaurentee you that if you asked Jason Staten who by the way eventually went back to Microsoft and has been working there since 2014; he'll probably tell you himself that they should have stuck with Microsoft and kept shitting out the occasional Halo game, and I sincerely doubt that Microsoft would have kept Halo going had they seen how successful Destiny was as a replacement IP.
Jason Jones on the other hand? Complete fucking retard, and his own arrogance and autism was so catastrophic and shameful to Bungie during the time period when they really needed him that he took a step back and went into hiding. The only time he shows his face is when they forcibly pull him out of his exile.
Seriously, FUCK JASON JONES. He's undoubtedly the worst Bungie employee despite him being the biggest and one of the oldest contributers.

Thing is though that out of all of the Destiny streamers threatening to leave, Cross would actually be a huge blow. Its not like Datto on his "Deadlock Arc" where the rest of the world collectively shrugs or a Lucky10p or Mactics where people would go
>Who?
One of the bigger ones in a community that naturally played the game moving on would be a big blow because he does have enough charisma to at least float on his own. You can't really replace him with a RoflWaffles or Goy Peanut or whoever else you want to pay to have in his place. Bungie's games also aren't like CoD where they sell millions and anyone can be an "expert" who posts their opinions on the game, Bungie's games are also more about "community" so more people being fed up and leaving causes a chain reaction.

It's not the technical debt and im tired of these sorry ass excuses, D2 doesnt have consistency and its a frankenstein game. the entire game is a disjoined mess because the characters, the gear, the destinations, the UI, the game design are too different. They put too much effort into content that doesnt exist anymore or for some fucking retarded reason they made dlcs feel really disconnected because each one had some weird ass gimmicks or activities and design that never translated between each other.
They would have to put way too much money, time, and effort into overhauling D2 to be a more well rounded game, and at that point its not worth it when they could just make a new game but knowing bungie they're going to make the same fucking mistakes AGAIN because theyre just retarded, and the same retards who blame their game engine or whatever are going to come out and do the exact sob story "oh no let poor devs working on le poor broken engine :(((("

On one hand they made it clear that was the mindset even pre-release, but the problem is that getting yellow gear is extremely difficult so it's not like losing high-color gear means nothing. And they also had a red (best loot) tier weapon for killing the compiler, one so overpowered it straight up melted teams until they remembered to nerf it, so it feels more like they forgot they weren't making Destiny or The Division and were just making an extraction shooter.

The people who work at Bungie now are like thrice removed from the people who learned their lesson with Sunsetting the first time around which should have told you everything when they proceeded to do it again like 3 more times indirectly through feature/powercreep. Marathon is just the end result of Bungie's arrogance and business mindset. Seasonal hard-wipes are their wet dream, and I would wager something they will probably spend 2/3 of Season 2 coding a way to make it optional thus walking it back for Season 3.

Do you have renegades? Expansion gets you close to 370-400 and then just doing Lawless Frontier, even on expert, will get you a few light levels per run. Just need to hit 451 to get tier 5. Otherwise, try and do portal activities with bonus drops and vanguard alerts.

Nah, kept skipping on the expansion because I'm actually betting on total bungie death. Could have dropped 20 on year of prophecy 2 weeks ago but I legit believe it goes lower.
It sucks because the non playlist activities feel so much harder while also giving was less drops even though I'm 80 light levels over.

I feel like this is sony giving marathon 1 last chance before shelving it and ordering all of bungie back on destiny. They didn't launch to the reception they were proposing, and season 2 is the last content delivery they're legally on the hook for given the content claimed in the purchase of the game. If it also (likely) doesn't deliver, sony can shitcan the leadership and force them to actually put resources into the only IP making them money

IIRC they also did say that Season 3 would be from August to November. That is truly the last chance Marathon has before Sony pulls the plug, and things aren't good for it because it will go up against CoD and GTA6.

Is it normal to get the Umbral Echelon emblem to drop after only 3 wins in ascendant 0? I’m definitely not mad at getting what I was chasing, but I thought it was supposed to be much longer pursuit. Now I have literally nothing left to do

Goddammit, Bungie is listening, we are so back! What's gonna be Marathon's version of Destiny 2's vaulting?Like the thing that completely destroys any remaining goodwill people might have?

I will never understand why ross ball washes luke sunset and mark noselength so much. These retards were behind the decision that caused a population drop the game has never recovered from and stained the reputation of Destiny And bungie permanently

I genuinely don't think I can finish this campaign, holy shit. It is so aggressively boring in every regard, and the narrative is so mismatched with the tone of the existing universe. It's like when they slap an existing IP's name on a tv/movie adaptation that started as a completely separate story that the author originally wanted to tell. And this character that everyone said was the best part is easily the worst. Also they reused Elsie's VA for Orin and it's really distracting.

I highly doubt it anon... They'll probably keep it hush hush till the end of the month and then do a livestream on June 4th or whenever to build up hype

Lol I cant believe this but
Destiny Rising does many things better than Destiny 2 that it's just sad. Like I've never understood why Bungie are incapable of getting their shit together and fixing their own fucking game, meanwhile chang managed to make something that feels way more like D1 than Bungie could ever wish for.

If there even is a June update happening, they're probably not gonna talk about it until the week before release.
2 weeks before, there will be a TWID saying "next week is some info", and then 1 week before will either be a TWID with the info or a stream.

not very long at all
play portalslop, complete the orders and level the weekly thing for one weapon and two armor pieces from zavala per week, pinnacle ops when it's onslaught or coil for the matchmaking, then campaign missions as well
ez pz

It’s still ridiculous that we got clan housing, a Gwent-like card mini game, permanent fishing, stats which actually display damage output, bots that can help you in content no one plays anymore, and the ability to download and uninstall content/areas before we got it in fucking D2. And all this for a mobile game, Bungie could have made some of these permanent changes when they had 1200+ employees.
