Back when Orokin Void defense was some of the highest-level content in the game (as it was one of the comfiest nodes for fissure farming) my go-to move was to wait until there was at least one player in the center by the pod before sneakily activating a laser while sliding into a bullet jump and hauling ass out of there before it finished its sweep so I could maintain plausible deniability. The sheer amount of furious fingerpointing was phenomenal; to this day I have not seen seethe levels even approaching those missions ingame.

Someone said this game is like Destiny 2, but better. I always had the impression it was a p2w grindfest but I guess that may not be the case? What's the gameplay loop look like, is their end game (raids, hard mode etc) and if I start playing today, assuming I play 2-6 hours a day how long would it take a new player to get there?
>>566701336 In terms of raw gameplay its a movement based 3rd person shooter where the various warframes serve like classes with abilities which is sorta like Destiny 2 but it is a grindfest, but not PtW as all content besides a few cosmetics can either be gotten via grinding. The best example of what I mean is that the way you build most weapons is either by purchasing its blueprint via standard in-game currency or getting the blueprint to drop from a mission. Then you either use raw materials you get by breaking containers of them during missions or other weapon parts that drop from the same mission you get the blueprint from (typically a bout a 4-5% chance per run for a part with a pity currency system) to build it which then takes 24 hours. Or you can skip the building wait time with premium currency or just buy the weapon outright with a lot of the premium currency. Or you can trade with other players. But noting important is locked off just how long it takes to get there. The engame is very lacking because the way the game developed means your end state in terms of power is a walking supernova so outside of the Hard Mode of the regular missions stuff called Steel Path their are a few Superbosses and long runs of Endurance type missions. As for how long it takes to get there it depends on what you focus on. The primary power progression through the game is via the mod system and later arcanes, so if you pop open the wiki and hard grind out all the endgame viable mods for a viable gun you like it can be done in like 3-4 months. But if you want to grind faction standing or get various Warframes to change your playstyle or fuck around in the other various minigames and game modes that have been stuffed into this game over the years, or even just grind out the levels for various weapons to increase standing it can take a lot longer.
