>>566762079 Its insane how much time they invest to appease raiders with shit like savage/ultimates/criterion while leaving 90% of the playerbase out to dry.
If you play a co-operative game like FFXIV you owe it to the other people you're playing with to at least TRY to be the best you can possibly be at the game. You don't have to memorise a rotation, but push all your buttons man. Use AOE's on groups. Pay attention to the game and don't be on the phone or watching a movie.
>>566761889 You don't pay my sub goes both way, if you choose to waste time, single pull, do YPYT and have a shit rotation you better be paying for the party's sub
Are there any decent alternatives to the Queen's Rest for lighting up rooms with fake ceilings? I'm struggling mightily trying to make mine not so dingy.
This is why Evolved will help save the game btw Having simplified rotations will raise the skill floor greatly and improve all of the content in the game and skill expression will come from performing mechanics (which if you play at high levels this is already the case anyway)

>>566763821 >That or still living with their family with the delusion they'll suddenly get their shit together one day, as the years keep slipping by faster and faster You need to understand that's the best case scenario for a lot of people in this world.
If you force these people to get jobs and be "normal" they don't suddenly become standup guys who get a wife and have kids and enjoy their life. They become major alcoholics and die at 45 of liver failure or suicide. NEETs are NEETs because they tried and failed already, society already rejected them. Even Extreme Trials are a bit hard for most people. Its impossible to clear as a bewbie after the first two or three weeks with whoever is left via PF. There should be a difficulty tier that is difficult enough that you need a PF for but not difficult enough that you are reliant on raiders or other good players to carry your ass.
>>566764623 My femlala once challenged a male midlander to do better than her wordle in 3. Then, he got it in 2 and I had no choice but letting him turn her into a plapped mess...
>>566764723 >Savage is easy if you've played literally any other game in your life Then why does it take even the best players in the world 10+ attempts to clear even once?
I think it's time we just admit that nobody actually cares that savage is hard or not, they just care that it acts as a filter to the prestige of the gear/mounts you get. I imagine if the rewards are the exact same for the upcoming diff and Savage the clear rate will not only skyrocket overall but Savage clear rate will probably crater outside of those chasing BiS.
the issue with savage is that the raiders of xivg are mostly neets with nothing else going on in their life so they dont value their time as much as normal people who arent going to be depressed suicidal losers by 40

I play this game with normies. My static has two uni students, 4 people that work full time, and a nurse that works more than 40 hours a week. We're not super casual and we all expect each other to at least study the fights and lock in when the content requires it. And we even sim when applicable to help save time. This tier took us roughly 700 pulls and 14(?) weeks of two 2 and a half hour long prog sessions a week. I understand we're on the lower side of the bell curve when it comes to skill and prog speed but that's an insanely large chunk of free time for people like that to be devoting to the game. I don't think Savage and ultimates are as hard as some people make them out to be but to suggest that they're "easy" or "trivial" content to complete is deluded even just purely based off of the time investment required let alone the amount of effort required in and outside of raid time.

>>566763246 Its not ERP but several years ago I saw someone that was just starting out with gposing do a really nice screenshot in a discord server and commented on how good I thought it was. They thanked me and told me they really liked my stuff and followed me on twitter, and asked if I could follow them back so I did. They were doing a follower milestone raffle where they would do a pic with the winner and you had to like, comment and retweet the raffle to be eligible and I did none of that because I wasn't aware of it since I was travelling internationally for work, but I somehow won anyways and they DM'd me to let me know. I brought up how I didn't enter and they insisted I did, and got really pushy about it over the course of several days when I wouldn't answer soon enough for them or send over my character data and they snapped at me and got really rude and pushy. I finally told them it didn't seem right that I won and I was going to be really busy and away from my desktop for another week so they should pick someone else. After several days they DM'd me again, said I was a shitty person for not agreeing to it just because I was a "big" twitter acount, and that was a really cunty way to reply to them for just asking questions and then said my stuff was pretty shitty anyways and he was trying to do me a favor. Its one of the experiences that really soured my opinion on doing collabs or even accepting DMs.

And they refuse to even stream it and let me watch, and act like im some guy trying to steal their week 500 prog strats???
>>566766754 That's fine, but people like you simply don't have their opinions reflected in the conversation here, probably because you either know the normal version of content will never be made inaccessible to you or because you simply don't care. The conversation surrounding ex/savage/ultimates on /xivg/ will always skew towards those who have the most experience with them - in other words, the people who spent hours and hours progging and clearing them. That's not entirely an /xivg/ exclusive problem but when we're dealing with a small sample size of conversationalists (the population of /xivg/) those who have experience and will engage the conversation will always drown out people who simply won't comment due to lack of experience with the content.
>>566767017 Eh it's whatever, some of them will burnout from failing, some of them maybe will start looking for solutions instead. I've seen this in many a static or raiding groups in other mmorpg, the group hits a wall made of the limits of their own skill / dedication, some choose to break through it, some get bounced back.
>>566766529 This is also true. Playing osrs made me realize how much of a spectrum difficulty is in general. Some people have blorva, radiant, and both capes but when they sit down to go max or grind collection logs they just can't do it. For some people mechanically intensive content just comes super naturally but maybe they can't exercise the patience required for more long term mental focused tasks and the inverse is also true.

>>566767610 I don’t need a 15-30 minute guide on how to kill Consort Radahn or Mesmer I can just keep going at it over and over again until I get it or cheese them out with bleed builds
>>566767359 That's ok. I'm very open and easy to please so no need to think of anything special. As long as it's made for me then I'm happy enough to use it :3
>>566767692 getting too turned on? it's ok... let it all out while thinking about me filling your mouth... make sure you're looking up at me as i whisper "good girl" down at you
>>566767243 OCE exists and you can always make an alt and send a tell... >>566767252 Hroths are cool, but they seem to always use the knot mod and I'm not really into that... if it's a Hroth with normal HR mods, then...
>>566767610 You can beat every Fromsoft boss first try purely with reaction time. You literally cannot do that with XIV because mechanics dont all have tells. Normal mode >Theres a stack here Savage mode >Theres a stack here but then your whole party explodes 2 seconds later with zero indication that you need to quickly spread, you just have to die and see it
>>566767440 >>566767743 difficulty comes in matching how long you have to bash your head against something with the amount of free time you have. Given enough time, anyone can figure out the steps to the dance and just stand in the right place at the right time and press the buttons. That's why DDR and Guitar Hero got popular; anyone can do it.
>>566767975 Those are examples of games I never could get good at actually, or rhythm games in general, I just genuinely struggle even on normal modes for them, while I see some people tackling on songs on super ultra hard mode for the first time and only end up missing notes 2-3 times.
>>566766998 personally it is for the reasons given but specifically because my character normally has self harm scars / things i post make people uncomfortable so i started making it easier to filter me.
Since there's clearly unspoken rules, how much thread cred does a femlala need to be allowed to post nsfw catboxes? Some femlalas post them and get praised, while some post them and get harassed for hours.
