>>3976531 >comes out in september >try to look up anything about it >only content out is story trailers and an extremely short, extremely railroaded segment is this a marketing ploy or is this normal? i would have thought there being so little content was a sign shit's nowhere near to ready.
>>3976531 My problem with this game primarily is the Ubisoft towers, no game has even done them well after Assassin's Creed and they're basically just gameplay padding, but gayer
>>3977381 >I wonder if this is the first BG3 looks inspired game. When all those devs whined "Larian raised the bar for cRPGs, we can't compete" it was painfully obvious that they simply meant budget and production values.
>>3977417 I actually played Divine Divinity back in the day when it came out and promptly forgot Larian existed. Then when DOS2 came out and was super popular I was like "holy fuck, these guys are still around somehow?"
>>3977417 >>>3977414 # >people also think larian came out of nowhere with bg3 when they actually had 20 years of experience Sven Vincke at least has. 30 years. I don't have a clue about the rest of Larian.
>>3976531 It's AAA >>3977381 What do you even mean by this? Studio was made in 2022 just to make a Witcher 3 clone, so a cinematic, action moviegame with some light rpg elements. BG3 wasn't the first RPG to have cinematic values. And Dawnwalker looks more cinematic than BG3 anyway, just like Witcher was
>>3977417 And BG3's development started back in 2012, with the Divinity: Original Sin engine. They worked on the concept for a decade. People claiming that they came out of nowhere are either clickbaiting, or ignorant.
