this game and its prequel make me irrationally angry like no other. so many compromises that make it completely dogshit just to stay true to a relatively bad ttrpg ruleset. "oh it's dogshit because people that play ttrpgs are dogshit at playing their characters and GMs are dogshit at telling stories, so it's authentic" it's not a homebrew tabletop session, it's a multimillion dollar production, they're not your friends, they do not get the grace of that crutch. why are so many gamers willing to patronize them? it's like every bad crpg design choice of the last 30 years amplified for zero upside.
