Try Tales of Phantasia. Has easier mechanics, is more active (as in more animations during combat)... it's kind of heavy in dialogue, but ok rpg as well.
Is /vrpg/ full of boomers whose whole argument is based on "I played this as a kid or something so it must be good" or something? That said this reeks of a /v/ thread, very-very lacking in effort to elaborate anything and just made to bait engagements
