They're cool setups, but am I just sovlless or something because I would not care at all to have something like it I'm just happy having a computer, bells and whistles are useless to me. I have my own small house, but its extremely spartan. Just whatever I use. If I started at a wall poster or something every day or had a decoration I kept seeing I think I'd hate that. Maybe I'm just an NPC.
>>6147093 Not really, I don't like overclutter either. It's nice to look at for a few minutes in someone elses' pov, but if I had to live in it I'd go into 24/7 brainlock. >>6147106 Comfy, we used to have those speakers on every PC.
>>6144675 Mary is a brilliant scientist who is, for whatever reason, forced to investigate the world from a black and white room via a black and white television monitor. She specialises in the neurophysiology of vision and acquires, let us suppose, all the physical information there is to obtain about what goes on when we see ripe tomatoes, or the sky, and use terms like 'red', 'blue', and so on...What will happen when Mary is released from her black and white room or is given a colour television monitor? Will she learn anything or not?
>>6147093 nah you're good. I've been noting to myself for years how I never bother putting up decorations on my walls, and while that may be boring in one aspect, there's an appeal to simplicity, too. One's mind not constantly occupied with the same poster, image, decoration, etc. Maybe that yields more neutral thoughts idk :P
