The last chapter tried to explain the time travel nonsense here, so let's look at it.
Kanata was making an assumption that they didn't get nuked yet for some unknown variable, possibly himself, but it being him wouldn't make any sense given that he appeared way after the original date.
Then there was the talk about his grandma being able to create a time traveling mystic code because surely she could if she just tried really really hard.
Even if this isn't really canon to Fate as a whole, actual time travel is one of the fundamentals that magi just can't do like that.

I can't take serious Nobbu seriously when I remember she's saying all this in Rie Kugimiya's voice.

Nah. A lot of Berserkers are fairly loyal unless something triggers them. Even Lancelot never disobeyed Kariya except when he saw Saber. Although people criticize the Einzberns for turning Herakles into a Berserker, they did achieve what they were after in that particular deal: not once in all of Fate/stay night did Berserker EVER disobey Ilya. He was the Einzberns' lapdog from start to finish.

Honestly, fame buffs are kinda severely inconsistent. Consider this. From nothing more than just his reputation alone, Lancelot gets:
>Anti-Dragon trait
>Knight of Owner
>For Someone's Glory
Lancelot did not have his traits in life. Yes, he defeated a dragon, but Arondight did not specifically have a particular advantage against them. Yes, he beat someone up with a stick, but that stick was not on the level of a D-rank Noble Phantasm when he used it, it was just a stick. Lancelot gets a fuckton of convenient boons. In contrast, King Arthur, Gawain and Mordred more or less just come with shit they already had when they were alive. Gawain's Numeral of the Saint works exactly the same way it always did. Same with Percival. There is nothing in Percival's skillset that he didn't already have. Only Lancelot gets a ton of powerful and useful perks that he didn't originally have.
In general, this seems to be an idiosyncrasy of the writers themselves. Nasu doesn't tend to be as reliant on fame buffs, and doesn't go too out of control in giving Servants power-ups that rely solely on their reputation. The only exception was God Hand. In contrast, Urobuchi and Keikenchi go completely out of control in giving their Servants massive power-ups for no other reason than "They did a thing one time".

Gudaguda Musashi is female. It’s literally just the same dimension-hopping Musashi we’ve had in FGO messing around in a joke event. She doesn’t magically sprout a Y chromosome because the setting gets chibi Nobbus and gag faces.
PHH Musashi = male, never summoned.
FGO/Gudaguda Musashi = multiverse drifter onee-san with zero sense of pants.
It’s not that deep, anon.

this is really bad, extremely confusing, seems like just a bunch of "acting cool" scenes thrown at random, can't care about what's happening at all, even Kayneth had more charisma than any of the characters here
At the beginning, the chaos was actually amusing, now it just got boring, "epic fucking speech with flashy attack again? okay..."

I still desperately want somoeone to do a 2nd holy grail war book once the current stuff gets finished.
I want Last Samurai Fate edition with foreign wizards showing up, everyone bringing mercenaries to kill eachother with, and said events either being the cause or in conflict with the Shogunate when the order is sent out to expel all the barbarians. Most importantly no Hercules, Gil, or Arthur.

Overall, the roster of this Holy Grail War is relatively on the low end. Okita isn't particularly strong when compared to other Sabers in the series. Nobbu's kinda strong, but, well, Okita was able to beat her. Iso is probably one of the worse Assassins, definitely inferior to Kojiro, but inferior at assassinations compared to any Hassan. Mori can't really compare to Herakles, Lu Bu, Spartacus or Huwawa.

This is a pretty good mix for a Berserker. Relatively sane normally, but once the fighting starts he can't be stopped.
>>
>>287484018
Nah. The relatively coherent ones are actually the more difficult to handle. More often than not, the greater a Berserker's capacity for independent thought, the less their Master will be likely to control them. Herakles never acted against Ilya's orders, while Lancelot only got bad around Saber. One of the benefits of the Berserker class is that it turns the Servant into a fairly mindless slave. It's the entire reason the Einzberns summoned Herakles as Berserker, and to that end, it worked like a charm.
In general, for Berserkers, you either want one that's completely stripped of intelligence, or completely ignores Madness Enhancement in its entirety, such as in the case of Beowulf or Kintoki. The middle ground tends to raise too many complications.
>>
>>287484445
I'm more thinking from a writing perspective.
It's hard to make a mute monster interesting, but if you go too far the other direction like Beo, you just have a guy that might be prone to violence, and that's not really unique to a Berserker.

I suppose. The issue with Beowulf is that based purely on his history and personality, he shouldn't actually qualify for the Berserker class. The baseline qualification for Berserker is that you have to have gone mad at least once in your life. Beowulf was a perfectly rational and intelligent man, enough to become a competent king of a nation. But in modern times, his name is so heavily glued to the concept of "Berserkers" that it overrides any qualifications he might have for other classes. His compatibility with Madness Enhancement is so bad that he get the lowest possible rank for it, E-.

Yes, but some servants are more famous than others even in Japan, and out of the servants summoned, Nobunaga is the cream of the crop in terms of fame inside Japan. She's also older than the modern era servants, though not enough older to really matter. Ordinarily spirits from further in the past are closer to Mystery, but Nobunaga's still firmly in the Age of Humanity where Mystery is weaker, and in any case is one of those heroic spirits whose legend is fundamentally opposed to Mystery as a concept. She's very anomalous, as a heroic spirit. The kind of calamitous presence in history that would probably get the Counter Force called down on her.

>Nobunaga's still firmly in the Age of Humanity where Mystery is weaker
Isn't Japan one of the last places to leave behind the Age of Gods because like Britain, it's also an island nation?
Not that it helps Nobbu that much.
