It's far better than I ever expected it to be, it was fun, funny and I liked most of the episodes. It also lost its teeth because the edgy humor was paved over by going 10x on the eroticism to cover it up. Plenty of episodes also had some pretty unsatisfying conclusions/payoffs compared to what could/should have been done. The subtitles were also dogshit and are the one thing preventing me from buying the S2 blurays as much as I want to buy them, the fact that the fucked up double-translated misattributed line in episode 6 made it to the release copies of NPSG is atrocious.
