From the thumbnail that panel sure stands out. It's rare for Igarashi to color so darkly. There's a neat undercurrent of uncertainty to this whole interaction, shifting from mild tension to relief. I especially like the metaphor of edging close to off-limits with the stairs to the roof.

Anyway here's the Aizawa ch31 summary. With new chapters being paid not everyone can read the raws so I'll probably make this a routine.
It's a Sayaka + Mini Michi chapter.
Starts immediately after 30, Sayaka busts in worried about Kasumi.
Michi tells Sayaka she wants to meet her later for advice (on seeing Aizawa).
Kasumi keeps to herself she can vaguely see Aizawa, she doesn't know what it is and she's scared.
Sayaka sees Mini Michi in the nurse's office so she returns to school at night to give MM more power by making another AAA mark with her blood.
We see the world from Sayaka's perspective and it's a mess of ghosts and eldritch horrors.
She enters Michi's classroom and is surprised to see Aizawa there. It's clear Sayaka doesn't really understand Aizawa, but she tries getting her to write on the chalkboard.
Aizawa writes "I'm scared of myself" and tears herself apart again.
Sayaka draws a new AAA mark which brings Mini Michi back, who fixes Aizawa.
Mini Michi tells Sayaka she's not a ghost(?). She says Aizawa is waiting on someone important and she's here to protect her in the meantime. Sayaka brings up Karasuma, who MM knows and tells Sayaka to deliver a message to: Michi can't see her anymore and she's running out of strength.
Sayaka leaves school and is ambushed by a very smug looking Ange(Nagi).

In the original draft this was the core investigation team. Between the double page chapter cover and everyone ending up in the same room, I nearly thought we were getting there. I'm confident Michi and Kasumi will be working together by the end of the volume, and potentially Sayaka if she doesn't get ghost'd too hard next chapter. She has some substantial-injury-flaggy lines and Nagi has reason to be pissed at her.
Dorothy calls this the start of a new season and "potentially the halfway point, though maybe longer as there's a lot to explore."
