I think it’s a very real possibility that this chapter could lead into a Nemo/Matama focus chapter or chapters that explore their relationship more and lead into their La Veritas as the volume end climax. Matama was the catalyst for this random battle and Nemo was on the receiving end of the monster’s ability. The whole situation had Nemo ticked off and Matama got swept up in it a bit as well. Maybe the next chapter has the two of them venting about some of the problems they have with Enormita? The problem is we won’t know for 2-4 months.
