Any other score given, be it 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, or 4/5 are all treated as a same "no" vote or perhaps simply "not a 5/5", meaning they treat someone's score of 1/5 as exactly the same as that of someone that evaluated the show/episode as 4/5. Unga-bunga shows watched by extremely polarized voters that only give 1/5 or 5/5 votes will end up with the show's score going up quickly, meanwhile anything with an audience that actually differentiates and also votes for 2/5, 3/5 or 4/5 will drag a show's score massively down.
