If we are jumping straight to Miel, then it would seem that chapter 49 is getting skipped too.
That leaves 8-9 chapters left until the end of the arc and they should easily fit in the remaining 2 episodes.
It's a fucking mess, though. I'll sound like a broken record, but they really should've skipped (or put in an OVA) some of the early random chapters instead of messing with the first arc of the series.
The part of chapter 43 that didn't get adapted had Jeanne confessing in an attempt to take Kyougi away and "save" him from Kanan and getting rejected 3 times, so I wonder if that means there are no plans for season 2, since that would've been expanded early on there.
