>isekaijin takes over an existing person >existing person's soul gets sent to hell >soul escapes hell go back to the real world and rampages trying to reclaim their body ok, cool premise. pity there's only 5 chapters of the manga
>>288572375 real talk there's been plenty of stories with the premise of "MC gets possessed by the soul of some ancient master/hero/demon and coming of age mentoring ensues" but has there ever been a transmigration story where the OG body owner co-exists with isekaiman and isekaiman acts as a sort of mentor figure instead of just completely taking over or merging?
What'd the most obscure Isekai you can think of? Mine's probably this comic I used to follow on Billiken in Argentina like 20 years ago or so, Mary Monster A girl is sent to another world where people turn into monsters and discovers she's the chosen one who's the only one who can turn back into a human For some reason, this specific interaction between her companion and the guy who betrayed them stuck in my mind for years
>>288572479 Another anon posted that I Became the Protagonist's Inner Evil story which fits that exact bill but it's KRshit There's also Two as One Princesses
>>288572479 I read a few chapters of another thing where CRUEL EMPEROR of the past reincarnates into a little noble girl, but both of them are fully conscious in the body and the little girl gives up control to him and he teaches her some things when she's awake. Apparently he can also also give control back to her, but it has yet to happen in the chapters released so far and I'm not gonna track down the original source

Avoid fights you cannot win. At higher levels you basically become a probability manipulator and just dominates the battlefield. Specially useful for the kingdom arc, when you become Sun Tsu as a general, only moving your troops to the places that you will have the higher probability of winning.

But in this case he fed her affection points before all that happened which caused her to spiral into obsession.

I keep seeing people say that GB is a crutch for male authors to write female protagonists without having to worry about how to think like a true foid but half of these stories also have PoV chapters from regular female characters. Hell in some of them the other female characters are practically deuteragonists. So that reason goes straight out the window doesn't it?

>>288579909 I really hate this type of character Not saying you can't be inquisitive, but authors just abuse them too much to try and advance the plot or make drama
I just finished reading the WN of this. And since everyone asked for my thoughts, I will be sharing them. First, having 200 chapters of filler straight into the final arc is criminal. The MC remained dense until the end, there was no slow burn where he gradually but surely realized his daughter's affection. It's not as annoying on hindsight because the author focused on comedy with the loser capturable characters, but still, feels like the author just didn't know how to do slow burn romance. The way the author handled it is that the MC realized everything like a nuke just dropped on his brain at the end. Also, the reverse groomer is simply too strong for any drama to happen, even the supposed rival from the MC's student days disappeared from the story after she and Reyna declared that they're love rivals. And like everyone was expecting, they dropped the Usagi at the end. It's pure love from start to end, however, which is something to appreciate. I give it a 6 to 7 out of 10, it's more like a comedy series than a romance one.
>>288581767 I have the same thoughts that's why I dropped the story at like chapter 230 of the WN after I got spoiled that the MC only realizes her feelings at like the last 10-20 or so chapters maybe the LN or manga can elevate this story, it's not a story I would recommend for yandere/romance enjoyers

Funnily enough I'm reading the chink FMC LOTM clone posted the other day and the way the MC is written isn't really noticeably different from how any GB MC would be written, aside from not being GB.

This has got to be one of the weirdest GBs I’ve ever read The author has a shitton of published Narou slop LNs but somehow it’s his singular GB MC that has a pair of balls and isn’t a herbivore le slow life eunuch MC, ironically enough Only one love interest (and a billion gold diggers including the actual love interest, but the MC ignores the others), no harem, actual marriage, MC is a borderline psychopath whose first solution to everything is cold blooded murder, both the MC and his wife are unapologetically greedy and materialistic, it’s like a Chinese MC wedged into a JP novel. Oh yeah, and the MC gives the “Prince” of the Isekai kingdom a GB potion to solve the problem of them not actually being a “Prince” and for the rest of the story the Prince crashes at MC’s playing video games and they hurl tranny slurs at each other everyday every chapter.

Thanks to the anon who recommended and shared Speedrun Manual of Miss Witch. Having a blast so far about ~130 chapters in. But I noticed a small plot hole. Ciel saved the gambler self in a brainwashed state. She used it once and dealt with the brainwashing via a contraption. However this "healed of the brainwashing" version of the gambler self died and wasn't saved, so the gambler self should still be in the brainwashed state, but later when the clock's time distortion calls up the gambler self, it seems perfectly fine and not brainwashed. This was not explained so far. But that's just a tiny nitpick. I am thinking of re-reading the story (once I am finished with it) but skipping all the simulations to see how the story changes when you leave just the reality parts in it.
>>288584471 From what I've read of the doodle, background setting is closer to SCP than Lobcorp(fictional setting on a wiki that gets writing contributions from random people), but the workplace is definitely closer to a Lobcorp branch than a SCP facility(all employees and no D-Class, there's basically EGO but weaker, company purpose is interacting with ghost story/anomalies for profit - extract wish essence/energy)
