Heh, I recall previously someone had said they'd looked into the "girl eating toast, late for school, bumps into a guy" thing and that there was no anime or manga that ever did that seriously. Maybe some series did parts of it, but nothing that did all of it. But you have tons of anime and manga that parody that whole sequence.
