Why is it so bad that instead of dying of old age after many decades of hardship and poverty that you choose to chill out with xans + oxy’s and go sleepies in your 30s???

>why is it bad
trying to be as empirical as possible because "bad" can be interpreted in many ways, but..
>it affects people you know after you're dead.
sometimes it affects people you know so strongly that it makes their lives much worse, or could contribute to their own death.
>there's no "reward" for doing it.
you dont experience freedom from anxiety or pain by doing it, you just go. and that's it. nothing ever again.
>there's the possibility that you will regret taking action on it after the point of no return
"he died instantly" is a meme. nobody dies instantly. the suffering in that moment will be immense if you find yourself regretting it and can't stop it.
anyway, if you are considering options that are this absolute, then you have the courage to consider other options that are not as absolute, like talking to someone, or getting some medication. you dont have to feel bad forever, and "decades of hardship and poverty" is not a foregone conclusion for someone in their 30s

also keep in mind that if your brain is releasing dmt or a bunch of other crazy stuff when you're dying, a single second of brain activity could have you reliving your entire life since you could be experiencing significant time dilation.

20's: Poor, but young and invincible. Great times.
30's: Still poor but now old enough to have physical limitations. Sucks ass.
40's: Starting to catch up with life. Safety net, connections, seniority... this is when things start to get good again.
30's are the worst era of your life, thus the worst time to kill yourself. Either bail out at 29 to avoid it, or just suffer through that shitty decade to get to the good stuff that comes after.
That's if you have no kids. If you do, then you gotta be there for them no matter how rough it is.

To add on to what this anon said, I'm in the medical field and I can tell you 1000% that many times people think they're going to have a peaceful suicide and it ends up nightmarish.
>Recently got a case where this woman ODed but they resuscitated her. When they brought her back, her bloodflow to her legs had been so weak that the tissue in them had started to die and go stiff. The doctor had to go in and slice open all her tendons in hopes that it would get the blood flowing again. But it was too late. She woke up days later in the hospital with her legs amputated and partially braindead. The doctor said that in post surgery consultation she kept saying that she thought her brain would go quiet, but it didn't. She said that she felt the agony of her extremities dying and her body wouldn't move. She felt like she was paralyzed. Then she said she felt the surgery and briefly had moments where she could feel her legs getting sliced open.
Easily one of the scariest things I've ever witnessed.
