I’m a 27yo NEET with zero work experience or education.
I’m applying for jobs but I’ve yet to get an interview, and every rejection just solidifies the feeling that I’ve left it far too late.
When I look at people my age, it feels like they’ve already got things set in motion in life, careers, money, relationships, direction. I’ve got none of that, and I don’t really know how you’re meant to catch up once you’re here.
I keep getting stuck in my head about how far away I feel from where I’m supposed to be.
Has anyone been in a similar position in their mid-20s or later and actually managed to turn things around? What did your situation look like, and how did you get out of it? I really need some inspiration. This is literally killing me inside.

You got quints and you’re telling me your life is bad?
There’s one thing that can help you. Feeling how bad it is and knowing how much worse it’ll get and making an oath to yourself that you’ll do whatever the fuck it takes, never stopping until you’ve achieved all you need. When that happens you’ll figure it out. I have a friend who neeted until that age, on the spectrum super weeb and he now works IT and seems to have a good life with upward mobility. He was months away from being homeless. When you NEED to do it you’ll find a strength in yourself you never imagined, and every step of getting your shit together is less painful than a moment of wasting away.

its not too late, go find a minimum wage job NOW at least, I would try to be barista if I didn't have education, sounds like easiest and you will meet attractive people that will motivate you to move forward

a job is only one component. i was a hiki changing his stars at mid-20s, i thought i had everything in life, a relationship that required to get a job and after some troubling time to skill up in a field that ended, now i have a job that would be considered a dream job for others and nothing else. living the dream. just find something you like and do your best at it one day at a time.

Telling yourself it's too late is just your neet brain trying to reassert itself like it always does. Mass spam job applications and enquire with relatives, friends of relatives, friends of friends etc if there's any job. Last resort there's always the government and military
