I'm a quarter ahead in uni, 2nd year and want to study abroad for a quarter.
Japan is the most popular for my school but honestly it seems over hyped and I would need to learn japanese, which I would be willing if there was a really good benefit over another location
I know people study abroad to fuck and party, but its not the same for guys and girls.
Whats the best place for a 5'4 Indian in america. Been here 12 years, no accent, fully acclimated but not rich.
If nothing im just picking the UK and forgetting about girls and partying

I studied abroad in Japan for a semester about a decade ago and absolutely loved it.
You will definitely need to learn some basic Japanese, though I have since forgotten most of what I knew. My uni had a support office that helped me navigate everything, and I mostly just made friends with the other exchange students anyway.
Japan was incredibly fun, but honestly, you can make the best out of any situation in any major city.
