I want a Roman style dog collar with 3 inch iron spikes. I'm not abusing the animal, she is a working hound who just might have to fight a half dozen coywolves and i want her to win that fight.

So where do i buy them?

Actually this was the solution, we are going to make it from heated rebar and line it with cured beaver pelt.

I can't afford to feed it and the coyote/coydog issue is a real problem. Currently i'm feeding it pig parts that were feed on trapped coyotes, the circle of life. I have previously had 38 goats killed by Coyotes in one week, she is a wonder.

She is around 120 lbs, she is impervious to -30 degree weather including freezing rain and is not a pet. I can get my hands on her with some enticement but i really want her to have a spilked collar.

It would be cheaper with a handful of bent 8' wood nails in a pattern like pic

Seriously, what's with these ""people""? Why is it so hard to be helpful?

Thanks, i can do that with a old belt and some wire nails. I can use some copper sheep and wool jacket scraps to line it.

My main worry right now is that she runs off for a few days and where i live there are a large number of bears waking up that she might think are dogs. I don't intend her to fight a bear, a coyote pack, a coywolf or even the occasional Lynx or mountian lion; i want them to realise it isn't worth it in terms of pain to attack her.

Sorry, i'm a idiot. I'm really dumb, i forgot something.

I have a dozen old school flat tire chains from the 1980s rusting in a bucket in my barn, i can use thosefor the collar.
