Prey animals are selfish. They never try to protect eachother. Why are predators protective of eachother than prey animals?

Why should an additional member of the herd put themselves at great risk to try and protect one who's already being actively mauled and even if they were saved would probably die of exposure not long after?

You've never seen footage of a hunt then. They don't attack the pack, they get them to move around and separate juveniles and weakened from the pack.
There's tons of clips of big cats getting a kill too close to the pack and getting mauled. Wildebeest and cape buffalos straight up beef predators. One of the few times they categorically won't get involved is in water.

I'll call your bluff. Let's meet these "researchers."
>Lee M. Ellis, MD, FACS, FASCO, is a clinical research professor in the Institute of Human Health and Disease Intervention, Division of Research, at Florida Atlantic University. A translational investigator primarily focused on GI cancers, Dr. Ellis is passionate about using his more than 30 years’ experience in cancer research to help the next generation of cancer care providers and investigators.
So, a smart guy nooticing, uh, like, uh people are like cancer or, uh, something. Buy my book.
>John Philippe Rushton (December 3, 1943 – October 2, 2012) was a Canadian psychologist and author. He taught at the University of Western Ontario until the early 1990s, and became known to the general public during the 1980s and 1990s for promoting anti-Black racism through his widely discredited research on race and intelligence, race and crime, and other purported racial correlations.
So a nigga who's been dead for almost two decades who wrote a book with a bunch of bullshit in it to generate engagement bait.
>As of 2018, Figueredo was identified by the Associated Press as the only U.S. scientific researcher receiving funding from the Pioneer Fund, a non-profit institute which promotes scientific racism and eugenics.
>Big Thienthe ith in the jewth pocketth but itth okay when we do it
lol/lmao never change poljeets.

If you being some eldritch being tore the roof off a Walmart and start eating the creatures inside. They'd appear to you much the same way not as families or lone individuals among others or classmates just scurrying animals.
What if you came back and tore the roof the same Walmart every weekend just for kicks.
You'd have weeded out the heros pretty quick.
They're mostly in a herd for benefits it provides not because they care about the other animals in the herd.

hey retard, the west was retarded outside of the nobility’s personal eugenics program until that stopped. and now its becoming retarded again even without immigrants. racial differences are real but they are also downstream from culture and rapidly variable. you can fall as quickly as you can rise. the idiots always have more children if allowed to and not culled by things like massive global wars of attrition, plagues, collapses, and famines. society’s very purpose is to make it so minimal ability is required for survival.
look at how quickly jewish exceptionalism rose and fell off
look at the decay of the west
look at how fast china went from africa with better food to a global superpower (so fast half of it is still africa with better food)
yes biology is real and populations drift apart in ability and temperament but you also change with breeding as fast and readily as a dog. in 80 years africans could be smarter than you even though they are retarded today.

Altruistic behaviors are more beneficial the more related you are to the individual you are helping
In a large herd the chances that you are closely related to an individual being hunted are slim, it's not worth putting your life in danger for a stranger
Herds aren't one big family, it's a bunch of strangers coming together because it's beneficial (more eyes and ears, the chances that (You) are killed go down significantly when there's thousands of other options)

this. also for a wolf pack to lose a member is like losing a limb since they serve a purpose for hunting and shit. someone in a giant herd getting merked, ideally someone who is old/sick and weaker than you is part of the deal
