I have a seven month-old cat. He lives in an annex room in my courtyard and just recently started going outside, usually for no longer than 20 minutes before walking back to his room with me. Today as we got back there was another cat inside.

He wouldn't leave no matter what. I had to grab him and bring him outside.

My cat got upset and they squared off for a bit until I took him and brought him to his room.

The other cat followed us, sat outside the door and kept staring in.

I already have three cats, I can't really take more in.

Thanks, the orange one is definitely not a stray. Might be one of those cats "co-owned" by the whole neighborhood.

They will go to war against each other, especially if your cat is out after sundown. My boy lost a fang and got an abscess on his neck after establishing dominance on the neighbourhood
