So, what's the appeal of Demoxytes planata?

I get that they look cool, but they cover the entire enclosure in feces, eat a ton, are small compared to other popular millipedes and also have the whole hydrogen cyanide thing going on.
They breed and grow fast af, to the point that I had to start selling them just to keep a manageable colony size, and it honestly felt like scamming people...

Don't get me wrong, they are great for showing off, but the whole feces problem takes away any chances at being a display animal...

They do eat plants quite fast, but flake soil (broken down wood) is the bulk of their diet. Also their need for protein (like dried shrimp) might be an issue...
