I killed a bullfrog to eat 3 years ago, and I still can't get over it. The legs din't even taste good and I'm a huge animal lover. If I could go back in time I would take it back.

I read a book about some historical figures in the city I live in recently and in a one-off line it mentioned that one of them had purchased land here to farm frogs to sell to local restaurants. I have never once seen frog legs on a menu and it was really strange to ponder that being an economically viable get rich quick scheme at one time. Anyway if it makes you feel better OP I take care of American bullfrogs at a nature center and they would 100% eat your legs if they could fit them in their mouths.

It's a specific kind of frog called the Edible Frog that lives in Europe ya dingus. It's like you ate a crow expecting it to taste like chicken, you're lucky it wasn't some other random frog that could have made you ill.
