I might have you mixed up with another Anon but I think in a previous thread you said you don't watch the show so I wrote spoilers below if you want to read them.

Her followers ask about fitness and fighting content a few times a year since the beginning. They often push her to exercise.
Lots of the donors are gym members and fighters that probably came over from any of the FTL and MMA streamer overlap.
It's part of her character since Fishtank, the donors ask for it, and it's happened multiple times already.
One of her guests punched her ribs so hard it bruised.

If you're trying to trick people for attention it could work on new viewers that don't know this already but I don't think they lurk these threads.

I think the problem is there’s no reason to watch Josie if you didn’t watch Fishtank s1. Most of her audience developed some level of parasocial bond to her and will watch her do anything, but new people just see some girl in her room making a mess or making mediocre jokes. Her core audience declines as people move on, but she’s not reaching new viewers to make up for it. It doesn’t seem like Josie is really passionate about anything either. She moves on from one thing to the next and is only really consistent on streaming. Everything about her is so stagnant right now.

I'm not going to pretend like I know what's best but I will share some of my thoughts on some of this for us all to discuss.

Catering to members makes sense but the public matters significantly for gaining new people.
I know why the youtube posts are members only (and that's more youtube's fault than hers) but I still think something about it is not right.
Announcing special events to members isn't going to gain new hype, same with announcing a stream is canceled.
They know and watch anyway, you need to advertise your stream to people who don't already pay to watch it if you want new people.
Is what I'm saying making sense or is it nonsense?

I might agree on the scheduling but for different reasons.

I like the streams so I don't care if they go long but trying to do highlights when you used to stream 6 hours a week and are now doing 6 hours a day + extra days, is just overwhelming from an editing and time perspective.
Sometimes vacations happen at times that make sense personally but are not the play career wise.
Like doing a special event right before a vacation so that any gift subs may as well be wasted since they'll expire before she comes back.
Or like right now. Does it make sense to do a special event while fishtank is siphoning your viewers specifically? Maybe that's the perfect time idk

It's easy to blanket this and call it lazy but I wonder if it's more like uncertainty and volatility or something.
She puts in effort and tries things but it might not always be in the right direction at the right times.
Not an excuse, I'm just saying I don't think lazy is actually the problem here, lack of clear direction maybe and no guaranteed success path since you're beholden to the algorithm.
