Are there any other anons concerned that we're breaking the law by using this board? Loli is allowed on /bant/, and in Australia (and many other countries) loli is legally classified as Child Sex Abuse Material.

By even so much as browsing the catalog, you can see threads that have loli in the thumbnail. Doesn't this count as accessing CSAM, even if we're not posting or downloading it ourselves? Is anyone kind of paranoid about this or is it just my OCD?

Also, it's not just Australians who should be worried. Loli is illegal in the UK, Canada, and a bunch of US states.

I'm not a fucking fed. Why would a fed even post this? Surely I'm not the only one whose thought about this. The problem is that law is so vague. What does "accessing" csam even mean? Am I technically breaking the law just by scrolling the catalog? Surely SOMEONE other than me is the tiniest bit concerned.

If in a court room you can't explain that 4chan is an image board website where the content created is 100% user generated and you have no control over what is posted by other users or that exposure to illegal content is never intentional then going on to say that other than hiding a post or reporting it to the mods when it violates US law are the limited things you know about avoiding or taking down illegal content then what even are you doing here? If you haven't saved or jacked off to loli shit you should have nothing to worry about: hide any content you feel could be illegal in your country and for God's sake learn how to use and describe 4chan if you intend to browse regularly...

If you can't explain in a court room that 4chan is an image board website where 100% of the content and images are generated by users then what are you even doing here? You state that you can't control what is posted. So long as you are not fapping to or saving loli images to your computer you should be good. You could add that the only things available to you by 4chan is to hide content you think is inapropriate and report content that violates US law. In a court room I would follow up with why the prosecution thinks my browsing was so problematic and ask them what they are doing about people actively breaking the law in their country with what they post that are clearly more a threat than you?

If you can't even describe what 4chan is or how you use it, why are you even here?

It's unlikely that you'd actually ever get arrested, due to TLS encryption. Your ISP can't just look at your traffic and immediately see what you're doing. They can definitely see that you're going to 4chan, but they can't see what you're actually doing on 4chan.

In the unlikely event that some clown fed does arrest you for having a few loli pixels in the corner of your monitor, ask them whether or not they actually found any CSAM material saved onto your hard drive. Didn't find any? Then you have plausible deniability on the grounds that you visited a forum with user-generated content and all of a sudden, holy shit, there's CSAM on my monitor. That's not your fault and you can't (or at least shouldn't) be prosecuted for that.

And also remind them that they're dumb cunts for going after the consumer instead of the uploader.

No, I am not afraid of being arrested because I do not live in Ausfailia and the US Supreme Court has struck down lolicon bans as unconstitutional.

If 4chan was forced to abide by Ausfailian law, then all offensive speech would be prohibited on here.

The Supreme Court ruling didn’t stop this guy from going to prison for loli.
